For this week's conversation, Rachel spoke with Dr. Anta Sané and Dr. Ndongo Samba Sylla about the upcoming elections in Senegal.
Dr. Anta Sané is a political scientist whose research covers gender and governance, African and Global politics, and development. Beyond the academy, Dr. Sané is the President Director General of Teranga Strategies, a consultant agency in strategy, management and training.
Dr. Ndongo Samba Sylla (@nssylla) is a Senegalese development economist who previously worked as a technical advisor at the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal. He is a Research and Programme Manager at the West Africa office of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. His research covers fair trade, labour markets in developing countries, social movements, democratic theory, economic and monetary sovereignty.
