Unsinkable: The Titanic Podcast
Welcome to Unsinkable, an intense look at the cultural history of Titanic and its era. The history of the ship is laden with: women, people of color, families that have spoken up and lived out loud to leave a legacy we cannot ignore. The past is present and the future. We cannot make the mistakes of our ancestors.

*My apologies for slightly inferior audio here, our connection was not fantastic and neither of us were in our usual office!*
For the season's inaugural book episode, I'm honored to bring you a candid and nuanced
conversation with author Patti Henry; her work Surviving Savannah explores (through historical fiction) the sinking of the southern steamship Pulaski in the first half of the nineteenth century. We spoke about everything from her research process and the wild synchronicities within it to shipwreck artifact retrieval to the importance of shedding light on the history of slavery in America. This was a dynamic chat and I thank Patti for taking the time!
