Welcome back to Friday Mountain Ranch, where the horses rest easy and the friends are a plenty.
Today is a special morning. The first soft snowflakes are falling. Willow the gentle mare and her little fo thunder are waking up to see them. Do you want to join them? Then find a comfy spot. Maybe sitting or standing quietly. Let's take one slow breath together to begin just like willow and thunder. In through your nose, feel the cool air. out through your mouth like a warm puff in the cold.
Thunder looks up and sees the snowflakes drifting down so quietly. They're light and sparkly like tiny stars falling from the sky. Thunder feels one land on his nose. It's cool and melts away gently. He shakes his head softly. You can shake your head slowly, too, if you like. Feel how gentle it is. Willow stays close, watching with calm eyes. It's okay, little one, she seems to say.
Thunder steps forward slowly, feeling the snow crunch softly under his hooves. It's new and quiet. He stretches his neck long to sniff a snowcovered bush. You can stretch your neck gently, too. Reach forward like thunder. Feel your body grow tall. Now relax back down. So calm.
Willow shows him how to pour the ground lightly, lifting one hoof slowly, then the other, like saying hello to the snow. Try lifting your arms or legs gently, one at a time. Hold and lower softly. Notice how steady and strong you feel, just like thunder.
Thunder looks around and sees his friends watching quietly. Snowy the fox waves his tail slowly. Luna the owl blinks her big eyes in hello. They all share the peaceful snow together. Let's do a gentle stretch like Luna spreading her wings. Lift your arms out slowly. Feel the cool air on them. Now fold them back softly or breathe like willows. Steady breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth, feeling safe with friends.
Thunder's first snowflakes were gentle and beautiful. Just like this quiet morning, he feels happy and calm with his mama and friends. You can come back to Friday Mountain Ranch anytime you want to feel peaceful. Thank you for visiting today. Rest easy, little one, under the soft winter sky.
