Y2Gamers
Welcome to the Y2Gamers Podcast, a place where two long time friends and gaming rivals co-op and talk about a golden age of gaming, anime, and geek culture at the turn of the millennium. Each week, across the Pacific Ocean, we explore a fun new topic through our unique and wacky vantage points and share plenty of laughs along the way! About the hosts: Ming is a long-time gaming enthusiast with a special love for fighting, racing, and role-playing games. He also loves anime, sci-fi, and all things Japanese language and culture. He currently works and lives in Beijing, China...where he misses driving and unfettered internet access a lot! On the US east coast, Nick is an active member of the North Carolina gaming community with a specialty in fighting games and impossibly hard bullet-hell shooters. He is also an avid runner and eats marathons for breakfast!

We Return to the Ring with a SF6 Prequel Episode!

Ming Xie & Nick Quante

Season 2

Episode 1
SF6 is Amazing (for now, at least)! It's the game that Nick and I have been waiting for as fighting game fans for a long, long time...ever since the last titan of the franchise: SFIII: Third Strike molded our hands to that infamous Sega Dreamcast controller. :P
But why was it a wait? Why did SF IV and V not quite hit the spot for us and so many other genre and franchise fans out there? Before we take a deeper look into what begins to make SF6 so great, we take a visit back over the last 10 or so years of Street Fighting and examine the ups and downs of SF6's prequels and prime the pump for more SF6 coming at you sooner than you can say "Shinkuuuuuuuu....."
Glad to be back and looking forward to an amazing Season 2!
