In this episode , I'll be sharing informatiion with you about the Logitech H570e USB headsets. Logitech is a name that many recognize for computer accessories, but Logitech also offers business headsets, and today's topic is one of them.
Some of the details I'll share include:
When your job is working in an office, or if you're an at-home worker, chances are you use your computer for many things. Among them may include voice communications, and it could also include where you go for video meetings. If this sounds familiar, then you probably use a headset too. And if you don't, you really should.
The Logitech H570e is a wired USB headset that's affordable, and it gives you the choice between single or double ear models. Some people prefer the single ear over the double because it allows one ear to be free to hear what's going on around them. Others prefer the double because it helps to remove some of the noise going on around them, which allows them to concentrate better.
Because this is an entry level headset, or budget friendly as some would say, you won't be taking out a second mortgage to buy one. The mono model is priced at only $49.99, and the double ear model runs slightly more at $54.99. So as you can see, these aren't bank breaking investments, which is good news to those with tight budgets.
The sound quality is good enough to use on any of your business calls. Good enough to allow you to be heard loud and clear, and not all the noise in your background. We tested the microphone for sound quality, and noise reduction. It did an ok job at reducing noise, and in doing so, it maintained the voice sound quality quite well. Not all headsets can do that. Still, there were sounds of the background noise that bled through, making it detectable on the call. So, the voice quality, and the noise reduction ability on the H570e are about middle of the road. About what you'd expect for a budget oriented headset.
The headsets are lightweight and comfortable at 3 ounces for the mono, and 3.9 for the duo which makes them among the lightest of all headsets we've tested to date. This weight helps to translate into comfort. The lighter, the better. And the padded headband, and comfy ear cushions only add to the comfort.
The inline controller gives you buttons to access volume, mute and call control, which are all pretty standard.
The Logitech H570e is designed for use with many of the leading UC platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Jabber and others, and compatible with MAC and Windows .
