Listen to this podcast to learn about the Discover wireless headsets, their features, pricing, and sound quality. You'll  also find out how both of these  models did in our rigorous sound tests.

And if you're unfamiliar with the Discover brand, no worries. This is a Headset Advisor house brand that comes with the longest warranties in the business. So you can rest assured of getting a reliable, great sounding, and comfortable headset by a company that's specialized in  headsets since 1994.

The  Discover Adapt 20 is a Bluetooth wireless headset that's designed for use with computers, and mobile  devices.

The Adapt 20 comes with a USB A  Adapter for connecting to a computer, but it also comes with a USB A to USB C converter in case your computer uses USB C. Mobile device connectivity is typically done via  a wireless Bluetooth connection.

When you purchase a Discover Adapt 20, or 30, you have the choice to wear it so it covers one ear, or two. You see, both of these models are modular in the sense that the headband can be snapped off, allowing you to snap on another.  So for example, if you want to hear what's  going on around you, use the single ear band. But, if you don't want to hear all that noise going on around you, then snap on the double ear headband, which by the way features two active speakers, because it's not a sound sharing design.

The Discover Adapt 30, unlike the 20, is a DECT headset. DECT headsets, when compared to Bluetooth models, give you more  wireless range. The Discover Adapt 30 gives you up to 350 feet of wireless range, where the Adapt 20 is rated up to 100 feet. In both cases, you should expect to receive about half that distance. That's because environments vary, and environments contain obstructions which weaken wireless signals, and consequently, wireless range. So, the Adapt 20 should give you about 50 feet, and the Adapt 30 about 175.  Good enough for most needs I'd say.

In terms of the sound quality, both give you a very sharp, clear, professional sound, and both reduce background noise at a high level, which is good for anyone who deals with that. Very good microphone, and one that maintains the voice audio quality even when dealing with noise reduction.

The  Discover Adapt 30 connects to desk phones and computers via the headset base, and the included connector cables. Remote call answering is available through the use of an optional handset lifter, or Electronic Hookswitch Cable. Contact us here at Headset Advisor, and one of our knowledgeable team  members will help you with compatibility.

So whether you need a headset for use with your computer, mobile device  or desk phone, the Discover Adapt 20 or 30 is bound to meet your needs. The Adapt 20 comes with a 2-year warranty, and the Adapt 30 comes with a 3-year warranty. Longer warranties means longer peace of mind. And we all like that.

The Discover Adapt 20 is priced at $169.99, and the Discover Adapt 30 is $279.99, but here's a way you can get a nice discount if you'd like to place an order on our website, which is  www.headsetadvisor.com
