We all know that there are an abundance of choices when shopping for new business headsets. You have wired headsets galore. You have countless wireless models that include DECT and Bluetooth types.  And,  you have those that work with deskphones, computers or mobile devices, or a combination of all of those things. You even have many choices on wearing styles. The space has become crowded, and as a result, confusing.

Though I can't solve that  problem, in this podcast I'll shed  some light on one model that  I feel  is worth having a look at. And when I say have a look, I mean a good, close look. That headset would be the Yealink  WH62 Portable. So what makes this a headset worth spending time to consider? Here's some food for thought.

First, this is a DECT  headset, and not a Bluetooth like so many others are. As a result, you'll get much longer wireless range. This headset, which we tested, delivers over 300 feet of talk range which is far more than the 50-100 feet most Bluetooth headsets provide. So, if distance is important, here's a solution.

Secondly, this headset is portable as the name implies. It's designed for those  who want a simple  headset for use in an office, at home, or on the go. It's easily packed up and transported because it's smallish, lightweight (4.3 ounces, where most are 6,7+ ounces), and comes with a carry case.

Perhaps most importantly, this headset sounds very good, and absolutely destroys unwanted background  noise. If you're looking for a headset to quiet things down so your callers don't hear all  the noise  going on around you, then look no further than this headset. You may not find another that eliminates noise like  this one does. Unless of  course it's another Yealink headset.

Not only does it kill noise at a high level, but it keeps your voice sounding good while it  does. That's something you don't find in a lot  of other headsets because  some may reduce noise well, but while doing  so, can't keep the voice quality sounding good. This  one  does  both.

You also have a highly desireable  feature  in remote call  answering  if you're using Microsoft  Teams, Zoom or RingCentral. Answering calls when away from the desk is a very useful feature because your callers can reach you more readily, and you don't  get all those voice messages, or calls to return.

The price for  this headset is surprisingly affordable  at  under $200.00. But, if you would like to get  an even better price, make  sure to use coupon code BLOG at checkout.

And if you have old headsets gathering dust in that storeroom, why not trade them in  for cash or credit?  We even have an affordable monthly headset lease program that also includes the replacement headset accessories, and a warranty that never expires.
