Sometimes it feels like people think that strategy is the opposite of flow. What is the opposite of flow to you? For me, the opposite of flow is stuck. It's not strategy, it's stuck. So strategy can actually help us be in flow. If our goal is to be in flow, then the strategy is the way for us to get there. In this episode, I want to talk about strategy and how we can create a successful strategy for our healing businesses. I am super excited about this subject because I think it's really important and I feel like there's. A lot of healers out there who have a big resistance towards strategy, maybe a misunderstanding of what it is as well. So let's clear that out in today's episode. What is strategy? Strategy is the steps you have said you'll take to get to where you want to go. So it answers the questions, how are we gonna get there? So a strategy can really be anything. You're like, yeah, I'm just gonna explore this and see where it goes, and see whatever comes up, then that's your strategy. No one can really say it's wrong unless they know why. Before you set your strategy, you need to know where you're going. If you don't know, then that's one way of having a strategy as well. So how do we know if we have a successful strategy or how do we know that we are succeeding with our strategy? Well. It's answering the question, is it getting me to where I want to go? And as I said in the beginning, if it's just about exploring where you want to go, then it's successful strategy as long as you're doing something right. Sometimes it feels like people think that strategy is the opposite of flow. What is the opposite of flow to you? For me, the opposite of flow is stuck. It's not strategy, it's stuck. So strategy can actually help us be in flow. If our goal is to be in flow, then the strategy is the way for us to get there. It can be to meditate, to tune in. That's also strategy. So when we sit down and want to create a strategy for our business, it's good to have a strategy and think about these things before we think of how we need to think of what or why. What is it that you want to accomplish? Where do you want to be? My last episode was about this. How do you know what you want? So if you haven't, you can tune into that. Tune into what it is that you want. And there's diff several different ways of doing that. And looking at this strategy, how long do I want it to be? Because we can have strategies for a 10 year period or five year period, or we can have it for the next 90 days. I think the next 90 days is a really good way of having strategy.'cause then you can evaluate, but you will know what time period you want to do a strategy for. Do you want to try it for 30 days? Do you just want to do it this week? What is it that you want to do? So really looking at why we're doing or where we want to go first. Then we can look at how do I want to do that? What are the steps that will take me there? And why is it important to you and when do you want to do it? Strategy is like a budget that you set up. You set up a budget or a strategy, just see, okay, is what I'm doing leading me to where I want to go? It's not a set or if I don't keep this strategy, I've failed. It's as this strategy is a good strategy. Right. Am I following the steps? Why am I not following the steps that I've said I want to follow? By having a strategy, we can evaluate if what we're doing is actually getting us to where we want to go. Are you feeling in flow? Are you getting the clients that you want? Is your business thriving? If it's not working, what do you need to tweak? So what makes it a successful strategy? A successful strategy would lead you to where you want to go in business. It's to have a viable business. It could be to earn lots of money. It could be to help a lot of people, hopefully both. With a lot of money. You can help a lot of people, right? By people paying you money, you're delivering value to them as well. It's really looking at the bigger picture, the vision, the mission, and then the strategy. What are the steps? That you will do in the next 90 days? What is the mission you've set up for the next 90 days? What are the action steps you need to take and who do you need to be? What is that operating field that you need to be in to get there in these 90 days? And it's not about how right now. It's about the steps you need to take. You might not know all the steps, but one step could be to figure it out if you don't know how, that's okay. That might be the goal to figure it out. And then when you've reached that 90 days, you can look back and evaluate, did I do what I said I was gonna do? Was I in enough flow? Did I impact the people I wanted to impact? Did I make the money so I can survive and help even more people? What actually happened, and without judging yourself or anything, just seeing, okay, what needs tweaking? What can we change? Is it was that too many big steps or too many small steps, or was there something else needed? You will get new information. It's not about judging, it's about figuring it out and understand what more information or more knowledge, or anything else that needs. To come into your strategy, your vision, your business. A strategy is a good thing to have because it will help you to consciously look at what do you need to do to get there. It doesn't have necessarily have to be that you know what it is that you want to do. It can be that you want to figure it out. It can be that you want to be in flow. It can be that you are exploring things. It can look. In whatever way you want, right? The questions to figure out a successful strategy for your healing business. Here are the questions. What do you want? When do you want it? Why is it important to you? What are the steps to get you there? You have your strategy and if you want support with that, you know where I am as well.
