But building a healing business asks something different of us. It invites us to step beyond being only the practitioner and into becoming the CEO of our work, our vision, and the life we want to create.

Hi, this is Frida Calvo. Welcome back to the Healing Business Revolution podcast. In this episode, I want to talk about what many healers were never taught about building a business. To me, they are focused on healing. They want to do their work, they found a modality or something that worked for them, and now they want to spread that, they want to share that with others. Not necessarily building a bus- business, and that is usually not the, the goal. Some of them are focused on building a business, but many are not, and that creates a bit of a problem, 'cause if we look at the structure of a business, the actual practitioner is only part of it But now when you have your own business, when you might want to grow and/or structure things in a different way, you have all these different roles. You have the marketing role, CEO role, economy, and then the practitioner, and all, all of the other things that you might, might do as well. So when we are upgrading the healing business, you need to step into all, all of those roles. And in the beginning, there might be just you. You might want to grow and, and have other people joining you as well, but that's the reality of it. You need to step into the CEO role of your business. You're the one in charge. You're the one that decides, and it, it can be easy to want someone else decide and have someone else doing it, but it, it comes down to you. You are the expert of you. You are the expert of your business. You are the CEO. You're the only one who knows where you actually want to go, e- even if you become clear of it or not. So really tune into how you want your business to be, how you want your life to be, 'cause it's really usually when, as a healer, healers in business, we want to create a life and business that works for us, not only the business side, but really tuning into, to the life side as well so that our business becomes something that supports us and not consumes us. I also want to share a lighthouse analogy. I think it's really powerful'cause it can be easy that we go into that chasing clients. Really tune into being the lighthouse, being the one that stands clear in your convictions, stands in your light, stand in your energy. One of the most important things for you as a healer in business is taking care of your own energy. Because when we do that, we can also take care of our clients and everything else around us that needs taken care of. But we need to c- take care of ourselves first. And with the lighthouse analogy, just know that you are just one lighthouse on the way for these clients. You are taking care of a certain part that is your expertise. You do not have to chase them. Down there for those who need you to come by and see you. Yes, we need to do marketing and be visible and do reach outs, but we can do it from a different energy. We can do it from a knowing that we are standing on a clear foundation of what we're here for and why we're here and who we are here for. And yeah, we don't have to have everything figured out. We can figure it out along the way. But really tune into your energy right now. Where are you sitting? Are you in a place of, "I need more clients," or, "I'm totally overwhelmed," or or are you in a better place? I hope so. But sometimes we're there, right? And also really, really know that there is no right strategy There is a strategy that works for you in a certain time, but what I'm also seeing is that, yeah, there's a lot of strategies out there, especially on, on social media, everyone saying, "This is what you have to do to succeed, and this is what you have to do to succeed." But it's important to know that there is no right way. And as I said, you're the expert of you, you're the CEO, you decide. And also know that different strategies are more effective in different phases of the business or, or phases of where you're at right now. There's quite a different feel to someone who's want to have clients in their practice and are happy with that, maybe five clients a week or something, and they're happy with that. Quite a different strategy to someone who wants to, like, grow a modality that they want to teach or spread something worldwide, right? So you are the expert of you, and there's no right or wrong in this. It's just, what do you want? What do you want with your life? And no matter your vision, know that it's important. Whatever you do, it creates ripples. If you see one person or if you see 100 persons, it doesn't matter. You are creating ripples of why you're here. So really tune into that strategy that you want to have and feel that clarity of where you want to be and how you want to show up, and tune into, to your energy. And you don't need to become better at marketing. Like, yes, there are strategies and there are things that you can do, but you need to become clearer. That's the, the full foundation of everything: clarity. And don't wait until you have that clarity, 'cause action creates clarity. When we start talking about something, when we start creating connections, when we see clients, that's when we get the feedback that we need to keep on growing, to keep creating that clarity. So one question that I would like to leave you with today is, where in my business am I chasing instead of standing clear in who I am? Just tune into that q- question and see, see what comes up for you. Where in my business am I chasing instead of standing clear in who I am? And I also invite you to do the next smallest step. I always talk about these small steps, because when we have too much, too big, then it becomes overwhelming, so that's why the smallest step. So if you want to, I invite you to explore this statement, this exercise. I support hmm to hmm so that hmm. So fill out the blanks there. I support Hmm, who do you support to, hmm, to do what? So that, hmm. Right? So for me, that would be, I support healers and intuitive business owners to create a, a business and life that works for them so that they can spread their amazing work to the world. And that's, that's it. That's my sentence. That's what I stand for. That's what my podcast is about. That's what my services are about. And it, it has taken me some time to get that clarity, to, to get that to that, but it can also be really easy. So just try that. Try that on. Who do you support? What do they want to do? And what is the result if they do that? What would that be for you? I would love to hear what it is for you. But you can also play with it.
