 We speak to Ruchika about what motivated her to relocate from India to Australia with her young family. She is a big advocate for empowerment of women and is focused on sustainability solutions. She started a sustainable nappy and clothing business which led her to being a finalist on in the AusMumprenuer Awards. She then recommenced working in her field of Physiotherapy before moving to the public sector and now works for the Transport Accident Commission as a Project Lead for Health and Trauma. She is a mother of two young children and a role model in the community as part of the Be Connected program, which provides digital education to seniors. She also is a member of the United Nations Women National Committee and is part of the Community Voices Program in Victoria.
