This story is a story wrapped in discomfort thats the only word for it but at the same time so many gems..💎

My brother is a good man with a good heart and like so many of my young boys the cards he was dealt he had no choice to play the game and he is Wheres he is…🔒

I met him in school when we was just boys… He was just a funny, lovable and mischievous kid Bart Simpson type 😅🙏🏾 but at the time i never realised how much he was goin through just to survive…👹

Maslows Hierarchy of needs says a child that isn’t given basic things such as food,shelter, sleep,ect can create a Deficiency of needs that arise due to deprivation and are said to motivate people when they are unmet. This motivation to fulfill such needs will become stronger the longer the duration they are denied. For example, the longer a person goes without food, the more hungry they will become… 🔺

Ive gott issues with the system and what it has done to my people and our children in care… 

There has been so many positive outcomes from kids in care and at the same time there are so many that have been through and end up in a life of crime, drugs and even sex work,it has to be looked at and changed..🙏🏾😔

The statistics say it all…As i go through the data the evidence is actually crazy on the numbers of neglect,poor handling of cases and abuse..😤

I feel sorry for the victims of gun crime…Even ii have even been a victim of gun crime indirectly a number of times…😔‼️But a issue I can’t ignore is my young brothers that are doin the shootings.

So lost….‼️

This is going to be a conversation about life, his life and we are going to try to look at all the factors that put him where he is to hopefully support parents with their kids and detour my youngns from the Jail House…🙏🏾
