Hello everyone and welcome back to this Is Me podcast . Before I begin , I just want to say happy Valentine's Day . And right before I started , I started laughing to myself , because what I want to talk about today it sounds like I'm a scorn or angry woman , but I'm not . It just so happens that I'm recording it on Valentine's Day . But this is something that I have been thinking about , or rather that has been bothering me , the last few weeks , and I've just been so frustrated . I've been so frustrated with being a woman . Yes , you heard me right . I've been frustrated with being a woman , specifically in a business setting . It's like anytime I walk in a room , anytime I have a meeting , or you hear , oh , I want to work with you , oh , we can collaborate , but the truth of the matter is they want to see if they can get in my pants .
Speaker 1Listen , I am fully aware that it just comes with being a woman , but you have to understand how objectifying it makes us feel , and sometimes it just makes us feel low because we have more to say . We are intelligent and I know men just think with their dick . But I need for you to start thinking with your brain and start showing some sense of respect manners . I know your mother taught you better than that and I know I'm not the only one who deals with it . One in three women deal with it and it's just so disheartening because we listen . Let me put it to you this way we are able to birth children for a reason . We are able to handle more things than you guys for a reason . So we don't need you coming to add more shit in a place of work , in a place of business , in a place where we're trying to elevate ourselves .
Speaker 1And because of this , I just feel like I've been having to work triple more than a fucking man because I have to sit here and the first interaction it's like all right , keep your dick in your pants and let's just move on and get to business . So we have to initially get over that uncomfortability . I was like , hmm , let me see if I can try to talk to her , or let me see if she's just going to give me a chance . And I've done such a good job with training myself on how to kind of steer the conversation and let them know like it's not fucking happening . So let's just move on . But do you know how that in itself is just draining already and then to have to sit there and put our business hat on . I just had to let it out , because it is just really meetings that I have , interactions that I have , just it's just fucking exhausting .
Speaker 1And listen , I am very grateful God blessed me with a beautiful smile , with great personality , a good set of racks , but damn , it's not like I'm out there half naked and I know that that doesn't mean anything because people love to have , you know , their imagination go wild . But please , the next time you want to flirt with a woman , just make sure that it's reciprocated , because then it gets to a point where she's starting to feel harassed and it is just frankly disgusting . You look thirsty , you look desperate and you fuck up the money . It's either you want sex or you want money , and I think you get a better reaction with money . All right , that is all I have for today . So just note to self the next time you have a business meeting with a woman , show her a little bit of fucking respect and if she's initiating it , have at it , but if she's not , respect her .
