But anyway, welcome to the technically first episode. Last episode was more like an intro and telling you what's going to be happening. So that was kind of fun. So I'm your host again, Audrey Wiggins, your branding strategist, tech savvy marketer, and your favorite reality check for entrepreneurs, all served up with your touch of glam and a whole lot of get it done. All

Why Personal Emails Hurt Credibility

SPEAKER_00 1:11

All right. Today, we're kicking things off on a little spicy little series that I call Things That Burn My Biscuits, part one. First up, branded email, people. Branded email.com. Listen, if I get an email from a business and the address ends in at Gmail at Yahoo or Lord have mercy at AOL, I'm clutching my pearls and my professionalism. You might as well send me a carrier pigeon. It's 2025 and you're still out there trying to be taken seriously with a personal email address, baby. That biscuit is burnt. Let's fix it.

Trust Security And Marketing Benefits

SPEAKER_00 2:13

When you use a branded email, you're doing more than just looking good. You're positioning yourself as a legit business and building trust from inbox one or from the get go. Let's break it down. A branded email shouts, I'm in business. I mean business. It aligns with your website and domain, which you can get from me. Hello. All right. It provides more security. And most importantly, it supports your marketing efforts. Okay. In every click campaign and and conversation. Need some inspiration? Try these on. Sales at yourbusiness.solutions. I love .solutions. Hello at yourbusiness online. Service at yourbusiness.biz. Accounting at yourbusiness.tv. Your name at yourbusiness.org. Have to get that .org in there for my nonprofits. I love my nonprofits. All right, you got to support some folks out there. Doing good work for people. All right. You get the idea. Match your domain to your vibe and your industry. There's something SEO too. That's a little sidebar. Knock out your competition with Altogether Marketing. We elevate your brand. Take a stance with your business name, logo, the tagline, your colors, even the fonts for your business. And then jab left with your website. Jab right with core values. Back up with product experience and bring it on with you. Visit Altogether.biz and let us help you create a knockout brand.

If You Cannot Buy A Domain Yet

SPEAKER_00 3:56

Okay, let's give you a little pro tip here. All right. I'm saying this, but I'm not saying this, okay? Because you know already what I just said before. So you can't invest in a domain just yet. That's okay. But at least make your email look grown. All right? Use your full name at gmail.com, not cutiepie37 at yahoo.com. For your biz, business name at gmail.com, not flydude101 at aol.com. All right, moving on. You don't have to do it all at once, but you do need to start where you are and brand your journey. A little quick sidebar. It really doesn't cost that much to get a domain name and then get your professional email address built off of that. Talk to me, I can get you something, get you started. It really is not that once. Okay. So even though I say you want to make it look grown, it was, it was cutie, you know, cute talk and all that. But, um, and a lot of people do use that in some businesses, they do use Google for different for their businesses and, and that's okay, but you really want to brand yourself and not someone else. It's not another entity. So keep that in mind. Okay. All right. So your branded email is is the entry point for

Your Email As Your Empire Entry

SPEAKER_00 5:20

your empire. Think about that. It's like showing up with the right shoes. People notice, you know they do. What kind of shoes I got on right now? Oh, they're not showing. I have my Zoom shoes on. All right, and hey, if you need help setting up your domain, your brand email, or your entire brand ecosystem, I got you. Visit me at alltogether.biz to fill out the little form when you get there. All right. Alltogether.biz. A-L-T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R.B-I-Z.

SPEAKER_00 5:52

All right, y'all. That's a wrap on this first biscuit talk. All right. We'll take tea for biz talks. If today's biscuit got a little burnt and sparked a little action, I want to hear from you. Hit that follow button, like, share, and tag me in your biz glow up moments. All right. DM me your your new branded email so I can give you your flowers, okay? All right, so until next time, you keep shining, you stay bossed up, and remember, you don't just run a business, you build a legacy. Stay in tech, y'all. That's it for today's Tech Diva Biz Talks. Hope you caught a gem or two. If you did, share it, review it, and most of all, put it into action. Until next time, tune in, level up, and talk tech.
