Love as defined by God goes beyond human reasoning, extending grace not only to those who are easy to love but also to those who have caused hurt, offense, and pain. The highest form of love is not based on feelings or deservingness, but on a willingness to reflect the same mercy and compassion that Christ has shown. When love is expressed according to God’s pattern, barriers are broken, wounds can be healed, and the character of Christ is revealed through every relationship.
