Hello dear friend, Welcome to a God night's sleep the podcast. Tonight's episode is about that deep, undeniable feeling in your heart and gut—the fire that ignites when something feels right, when something feels God-given. We’ve all felt it—that spark that pushes us toward a calling, a person, or a purpose. This episode will guide you through recognizing and nurturing that divine spark in your life—whether in love, in career, or in your spiritual walk.
Close your eyes for a moment and take deep loving breaths in and out. Breathe deeply through the nose, hold and exhale out through the mouth, forming an O shape with your lips. Once more like that, deep inhale through the nose, hold and out through your mouth. Do this a couple times more at your own pace. Now, Imagine standing in the dark, a single ember glowing in your chest. It's golden, with a beautiful blue at the core, Slowly, the ember catches fire, spreads throughout your body, filling you with warmth, passion, and clarity. This is the Holy Spirit’s spark—God’s way of nudging you in the right direction.
When have you felt this before? Maybe it was when you met someone who felt like home, when you pursued a dream that set your soul on fire, or when you took a leap of faith, trusting that God was leading you. That gut feeling—that is His voice, His presence.

🔥 The Spark in Purpose: Walking in God’s Calling
The same way we recognize a spark in love, we must recognize it in our calling. That passion in your heart? That dream that won’t go away? That’s God setting your soul on fire for something greater. God plants desires in your heart that align with His purpose for your life. Pursuing them isn’t selfish—it’s obedience.

If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully

- Ephesians 4:1-6
- As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
- Philippians 2:1-4
- Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
- 2 Timothy 1:10
- He has saved us and called us to a holy life — not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
