In this episode, Patrick raises a common concern: “Are we somehow perpetuating evil by talking about it? Wouldn’t it be preferable to create a spirituality devoid of evil powers, demonic beings and the powers of darkness? Can we transcend hell?” The reality of evil in ourselves and the world around us can be particularly painful to face and bear. Jonah and Patrick work to articulate the unique way Christ leads us into and through this challenge.
