SPEAKER_02

Welcome back to the Hunting Roots Podcast. I'm Brody Swisher. This is episode 246. Another late week podcast. Late in the week again this week because much of the same stuff as last week. It's been crazy. We've been in Florida this week, uh, Orlando. Uh we have been uh knee deep in is it knee deep? Is that how deep we were? Knee deep in the Warrior Camp again, round two of the Warrior Camp, and uh it's been another crazy week, but we are bringing you a short and sweet podcast this week as we wrap up to you, our faithful listeners. Rimbo's back in the studio this week. Rimbo, welcome back. I think you were out of commission last week, weren't you?

SPEAKER_00

I think I was.

SPEAKER_02

You were gone, missing in action, but you're back, and I appreciate you hanging this week with us. It's been uh, as I said, just another whirlwind week. Um down at the SBC convention in Orlando, Florida. I was down there with our uh pastor from the church at Maplewood and seeing all the latest and uh the highs and lows of things there. It's been good, good trip there. Got back Wednesday night. I got back when yeah, it was Wednesday night. Got back again, flew into Nashville, then another couple hours to here. Got in bed, I think, at twelve something. What time were you in bed that night? You remember?

SPEAKER_00

I don't really know.

SPEAKER_02

Well before twelve, I'd say.

SPEAKER_00

I think it was probably like eleven. Did you stay up that late? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Probably so. You do you can do that. I don't like to be up late and get up early. So yeah, got in bed after midnight and then had to be up at five to roll over to warrior camp. And uh I I remember when the alarm clock went off, I was just like, holy smokes, this ain't happening. This is I I was out. Usually I wake up, my body gets in the groove, and I wake up before the alarm clock, you know, in hunting season, whatever, but that day, alarm clock woke me up, rolled to the warrior camp. We've had two weeks of that now. Uh this was round two this week, another great week. Without hurting anybody's feelings, Rimbo, what did you think? The first week or second week, what was your favorite group of people?

SPEAKER_00

First week.

SPEAKER_02

First week? All right, right. I I I kind of am with you. I think you had some of those quirky, funny, cute, whatever. Yeah, I think we just had a more more personality in the first week, let's just say that of kids. Uh this week was another great, great group of people. I'm not saying nothing about them, but uh definitely a livelier bunch last week. Um but just a really cool group. If you didn't hear that, we talked about our collaboration we do with the Special Ops excursion crew every year uh for the Warrior Camp, Junior Warrior Camp over in other side of Clarksville, Tennessee, uh just outside of Fort Campbell, and this is an event for the kids of Special Ops troops, just a way for us to serve those families that are serving us so well. And uh and we do all things outdoors from shooting bows and baby gun safaris and um talking game calls, talking bow hunting, talking gun hunting, crossbow hunting, just a little bit of everything. We can cram everything we can cram into you know a few mornings of the week. And so it was a good time. Great event. Nobody got hurt. I love that when we go and nobody gets hurt. Isn't that a good time? That's a good thing. That's a win. That's a win. So uh hey, we're gonna get into a couple stories this week, talk about a few things, but before we do, let me say this podcast is brought to you by our good friends at onxhunt, and I want to encourage you to go check out that app in your smartphone. On X Hunt, check it out in the app store or uh you can check it out at their website, onxmaps.com, and it is the app to have in your phone for hunting, fishing, outdoors, camping, any kind of navigation. No one where you stand is the name of the game, so check it out at onxhunt.com. Wrong. Onxmaps.com, that's where you'll find it. Also, a big thanks to the crew at Mossy Oak. Mossyoak.com is their website. Go out and check out the content there, articles to take you through the off season. Uh, also the go-to place to get some fresh uh gear and Mossyok swag, camo, whatever you need, check it out there at mossyoak.com. Rimba, what was your favorite thing would you say about Warrior Camp? I I know, and that didn't necessarily have to be one of these two weeks, but that event we do every year. Again, it's a unique thing, not unique in that what we do, because it's a lot of the same workshop, hunting workshop, and uh sportsman outdoor workshops that we do all the time. We've been doing for years, but what is it about Warrior Camp in particular? Anything you like? Maybe something you dislike, I don't know. Um what's your favorite thing about Warrior Camp every year?

SPEAKER_00

Um, I got a couple favorite things. I have uh I love the dog demo that they do. Yeah. Um the flyover is really awesome. Yep. And then um I like that we do kickball.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, kickball is pretty sweet. I was gonna pull the flyover up because this year's flyover was was a pretty sweet little deal. Uh let me just talk about the flyover. Tell people what the flyover is.

SPEAKER_00

So the flyover is, of course, we're helping out kids that like their uh fam like their parents serve in the uh military or army or whatever. Special ops, yeah. Special ops. And so of course these kids are here for um warrior camp. And um we have this special flyover where a little like uh like I think it's a little bird plane, yeah, the little bird helicopter or whatever. Shoppa um comes flying over like the field that we're in, and so it's really cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Let me just play this clip and see if they can even hear anything from it. Um this is the flyover from I can't remember, this was week two. I think let's just establish this between you and I. Last week's flyover or this week's flyover, which was better. Last week's flower.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

Are you serious? Last week we had a surprise flyover, too. Like a second one, you remember?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I'm talking about the the fly. I felt like this week's second second flower, this week's flyover I thought was better because he came down and just slow and slow. And uh we'll just see. Let's play it right here. Let's see if they can hear the audio from this. That's kids yelling, actually. Let me just cut to the chase here a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, alright. Here we go. Y'all let him know. Here we go. Wave them flags if you got 'em.

SPEAKER_02

So, yeah, he's bringing it in out across the field. Good way he's out right here. But now he's starting to swing it in, turns it in over top. So he does an initial pass, and you kind of think, oh, that's cute, you know. And then he hooks it hard back around and brings it in here. I know y'all can't see it, but you just have to listen. So we'll post this on social media too. But he brings it in little and slow and pretty good. That's good stuff right there. You telling me that wasn't as good as the first week?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, you're just gonna have to I'm I just have to see the first week again.

SPEAKER_02

You have to go back the first week and watch, but I'm telling you, second week, uh, he just brought it down. And I don't think either one were as good as last year.

SPEAKER_00

Still, last year was last year was crazy.

SPEAKER_02

It was good stuff. We'll post that on social media. I'll watch for it on Instagram and Facebook, but uh good stuff. And man, it again it's just such a good chance to to love on these families and serve these families that that are really and are serving, you know, they've sacrificing their lives and their families and just their time to serve our country. We know that's kind of what it's all about, but then we get over there and we see these families, and and as we've said before, a lot of them, you see them one year and you'll never see them again. That's always kind of tough. This year, in both weeks, we've had kids that have multiple kids, a number of kids that have been there for you know several years. And so it's kind of cool to be able to see them and connect with them again and just kind of invest in their life again. And uh just a small, small, small token of our appreciation to them and their families, what they do. You know, these kids, you think about it, we were talking about it earlier today when we were driving over, just uh how tough that would be. I know you as a child you're probably thinking, I wouldn't mind my dad being away for a long time or being gone for a while. I get tired of my dad or whatever, but no, these kids, you know, they'll go months, weeks, months, maybe a year without seeing their parents, and um, and that's tough, obviously tough emotionally, uh, but it's also tough just on marriages, it's tough on the whole family as a whole. You know, it's one thing to miss them, but it's also another thing when that dad's not around to invest, or those parents aren't around to invest in that life and to help with the discipline process, the corrections, you know, kids and just just to be a dad. And so it's tough and uh a lot of tough, tough situations there. So we just uh really appreciate the opportunity to work with Scott and Special Ops excursions to um just to again just to serve and and just to give uh a chance, uh these kids have the chance come to this free event and and just partake of the good stuff. And as you know, Rimbo, I mean a lot of those kids come and we've had kids both weeks that have never shot a baby gun. That was kind of obvious for a lot of them. Yeah. Some of them was bad. Um I had one boy yesterday and he's like, Something must be wrong with that baby gun. Uh, because I I I shoot all the time and I I know I wouldn't miss like that. And I remember I got the baby gun from him. I said, Let me check it out. Maybe it's just not shooting. I rick racked his little red rider and shot a balloon and shot it. And he's like, Well, something must be going wrong when I'm shooting because I I just don't miss, you know, and I'm like, oh boy, here we go. And uh you have those, but then I love the ones that they come up there too, and it's usually the girls that are like, You're gonna have to help me because I don't know, I've never done this before, and I need some help. I'm not sure about it. I'm a little uncertain.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna be real honest with you. The girls this year were bad with the BB guns. Like the second week, they were bad. I was like helping out with the BB guns, and I'm like handing them the BB gun, and they just like like most of them didn't hit one.

SPEAKER_02

After I bragged on how good girls do, yeah, and talk about how good girls shoot and they always listen and they always apply what they hear and they apply it to the situation. They dri they let me down, huh? Yeah. You were good. I was proud of you. You you were leading the the BB gun safari, and uh I'm I'm proud of you as a leader. You got so much potential uh as a leader. You were over there just laying down the instructions and like, hey, get over here, hey, stop that. Hey, put that safety back on. You were you were killing it on there, and so I was proud of you and your leadership on the BB gun safari. That was that was pretty cool. So um my part, my favorite part obviously is seeing the kids, uh that's any camp, but seeing the kids that have never had the chance to shoot a bow, shoot a BB gun, um, see a retriever dog do his thing. Uh, you know, that's always my it's always gonna be my favorite thing is to see a kid, a first timer, do those things that I always feel are basics of outdoor lifestyle, and uh for them to have that first you know experience. Um But I think that my favorite thing about this particular camp is, as you said, the flyover. Um when you see guys serving our country and they're out making their runs and and their practice routines, whatever you call it, and then they come over and they see the flag, kids are waving the flags and they're jumping up and down and hollering and waving, and here come these guys around and they swing it back around. And you know they're proud because like, hey, this is what I do. I'm fighting for this country, and they're like, hey, we're fighting for these kids down here and these families. And it's just a very proud moment. You know, you're proud to be an American when you see that and you see them and they're waving out the side of that what do you call it in a helicopter? Is it a cockpit? A cockpit, just like a plane, a cockpit. I don't know, whatever. And they're waving out the side and we're everybody's fist pumping and fired up, and it's just a that's probably to me the proudest, coolest moment, I think, uh, that sets that event apart from anything else. And so if you guys are not familiar with it, go check them out. On special I I don't even know if they're on Facebook. I assume they are. I mean, I guess they are. I'm trying to think. You won't see, oh I know they are. I'm just trying to think of Facebook Facebook or Instagram or both. Special ops excursions, okay? Um socks SOX is uh kind of how they abbreviate that, but special ops excursions, and you won't see the faces of the of the troops because they're obviously blurred out for safety and uh security reasons because they are active duty, uh military, and you can go check out what they're doing. They've got trips, um you know hunting, fishing, I mean anything and everything outdoors is going on with these guys, and so we've we've enjoyed partnering with them going on ten years now, I guess, and um just a good good deal. And uh if you want to support them, they they can certainly benefit from that. So go check them out on Facebook or Instagram, Special Ops Excursions. Really good stuff. Rimbo, let's talk about a posted segment. We got a posted segment this week, and we're gonna talk, this is gonna kind of carry us in because this is kind of a well, we talked about before being a dream scenario, but somebody's gotten arrested for uh this particular situation, and so let's get into it. This is your posted segment of the week. All right, I'm gonna pull this one back up. This is uh this is a pretty cool deal, and like I said, this is kind of one of those scenarios that some of us dream about. Yeah. And this guy pulled it off. Uh, but the headline is this man arrested after living in a Bass Pro Shops display tent for 19 days. Rimbo, 19 days, you realize that's that's that's like that's most of a month. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_00

That's like what, over almost three weeks? Yeah. Something like that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's that's good stuff. Uh two and a half weeks, maybe, I don't know. Yeah, most of three weeks. Uh man arrested after living in this is uh the KCT News five I'm gonna pull up here, but it says uh man is arrested after living in a Bass Pro Shop's display tent for 19 days. Staff thought he was part of the camping diorama. They just thought he was part of the deal. Like hey I think he was a maybe they thought he was a mannequin. I don't know. Surely not. Maybe he just sat there so still at closing time. I don't know. Let's read it about it here. Um this took place, you know, it's popping up the last couple weeks. Um End of May, I think it first started popping up popping up, but it says this a Colorado man was arrested after allegedly living inside a Bass Pro Shop's display tent for almost three weeks, while employees assumed he was part of the immersive camping experience. Okay. Uh police say 39-year-old Travis Keegan. Well done, Travis, uh, entered the store during business hours and quietly moved into the camping section where he reportedly spent nineteen days pretending to browse outdoor gear whenever employees walked by. Authorities claim Keegan became so comfortable that he started brewing instant coffee with the store camping supplies, uh raiding nearby tents out loud to customers, and referring to the fishing department as downtown. I love it. He took ownership, baby. Customers reportedly noticed something strange after spotting the same man emerging from the tent every morning, carrying a pillow and wearing Bass Pro slippers. I love it. One child allegedly asked for a photo with him because they thought he was the mountain man mascot. Things finally unraveled after Travis reportedly attempted to file a noise complaint against a nearby animatronic bear display. Responding officers found him inside the tent eating popcorn and watching hunting videos on a tablet plugged into a display outlet. Rimbo, you think that's a real deal or do you think that's bull crap story? You think that's really really happening.

SPEAKER_00

If that's real, then that'd be awesome.

SPEAKER_02

But like I like it.

SPEAKER_00

I like it. If that's real, good for Travis, but Yeah, no kidding.

SPEAKER_02

I mean no kidding.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, uh I mean, if that's real, how do you go nineteen days? Dude, I can see it happening. I mean, I like how do you not see him?

SPEAKER_02

Well, they saw him, but they just thought he was part of the deal. Now I mean that's just it though. You say, well, I mean, you see the same guy every day. And that's finally how they say they caught him, is he he came out of the tent carrying his pillow and whatever. But you know, you say, Well, surely they'd notice he's wearing the same clothes every day. Dude, he's living in Bass Pro. He can wear a different outfit every day. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? He could be changing shirts, wearing Bass Pro this, wearing flannels, wearing camo.

SPEAKER_00

So he's just using Bass Pro's stuff too, like the slippers, like the slippers, yeah. Like he finds a Bass Pro pillow.

SPEAKER_02

He gets hungry, what does he do? He goes up to the snack section, gets that special popcorn.

SPEAKER_00

Not only are you messing up by sleeping in the tents, but you're taking their clothes and their food.

SPEAKER_02

You're stealing food, yeah. It'd be the same thing as shoplifting. But is it shoplifting if you're eating in the store? Yes, I guess it is. You're stealing it. But you still gotta pay for it. Consuming it, right, right, right. I got you.

SPEAKER_00

I think you should be the mascot of Bass Pro.

SPEAKER_02

Dude, you ought to be the new spokesperson. Like, hey, come to Bass Pro and hang out.

SPEAKER_00

Like Kid asked for a picture of him. That's funny.

SPEAKER_02

I know. Like he's a legend. Um But I mean, you just think about it again. He's got all the kettle corn he could handle, probably cotton candy and stuff that's in there. I'm trying to think. All those, you know, those, like those uh Imagine this being at the pyramid. Yes. Oh man. You know, he's got the like the the seasoned pecans and all the nuts you smell when you walk in there, and it always smells so good cinnamon and stuff. They're probably in there. He's got the concessions, or not concessions, but he's got the you know the checkout counter. He's got all the candy bars, you know, the checkout. Yeah, there's all kind of food there. Jerky. They got a whole display of jerky. I mean, the dude could live there. And then they got the root beer and all the bottle drinks that are specialty drinks and stuff that I mean literally is a dream scenario situation. I mean, that's just what we like I said, any one of us have dreamed about that doing that and just hanging out. But I mean, who was it? Was it Dude Perfect that did the camp out in Bass Pro or was it?

SPEAKER_00

They like spent the night at uh Bass Pro.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Was Chuck Belmore in on that? You remember Chuck Belmore? Yeah, I don't know if he was I feel like he was in on that maybe, or maybe he was a part of when they hosted it or something. Because didn't they do it at the pyramid, you say?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they did, and actually it might have been part of it because like they're doing something like they get like five minutes to like put everything in a cart. Yeah. Or like everything you can push out of the door.

SPEAKER_02

You can shopping spree have.

SPEAKER_00

They're like piling stuff in kayaks.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, that was so crazy. Um that's awesome. That was awesome. I don't know. I think that would be fun, I think that would be cool. Uh just a big time uh to be hanging out a challenge.

SPEAKER_00

Bass pro shops.

SPEAKER_02

Well that, but I remember I'm talking about granted, it's illegal. I'm not I'm not you know suggesting this or advising this or encouraging this, but I think it'd be a a fun challenge just to do like that. Like how many days could you get away with pulling it off? Like a challenge. Like you go to one Bass Pro shop, somebody else goes to another city, you go to Nashville, somebody goes to Memphis, and you make a challenge out of it. How many days can we pull off camping out in Bass Pro show?

SPEAKER_00

But then y'all get arrested.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, I mean you gotta be willing to take one for the team. Um I mean now now obviously knowing. Um But then at the same time, like what are you granted, he was consuming products, so that's stealing. Wrong. We know that's wrong, okay.

SPEAKER_00

But I don't think he would be in there a long time if he like already brought his own pillow and like sleeping bag. I mean, I think he'd be in there like just for sleeping in Bass Pro shops. I bet he'd I mean, I don't think it'd be that what is a crime there?

SPEAKER_02

What is a crime there? That's what I'm wondering. Like, what is that that you let's say he doesn't steal the products, he doesn't even I mean, he's wearing Bass Pro slippers, but has he stolen? No, he's still I mean they're just gonna use his own clothes.

SPEAKER_00

He doesn't even wear or steal any of the stuff from Bass Pro and he just uses the tent.

SPEAKER_02

He's using the tent. He's not stolen the tent because he hadn't left with it. He's just using it, just like people do throughout the day. What is the crime there? That's what I want to know. Like, what is and I I know people will listen to this, be like, oh well that's you can't. I mean, when the store closes after store hours, at that point you are considered trespassing, or that point you're considered breaking and entering, or um so that's what I want to know what the crime is um for sneaking you're not sneaking in there, I guess you went in normal hours. What is the crime for staying after hours in the store? I guess it would be trespassing or something.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It's like after hours.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But then I guess they just like you can't sleep in the tents.

SPEAKER_02

You can't stay here. You can't you you ain't gotta go home, but you gotta get out of here. Uh yeah, we're gonna look that up later and see what that what all you would be hit with on that. Like what is the you know, again, trespassing, um being in there after hours. There's there's obviously a a pile of things that could go wrong there, but um that would be fun. And I don't think I I here m here again, I don't feel like that would be that big a deal as opposed to if again if you're consuming other products and using all their products at that point you're stealing. But uh is it is it you going to jail over the fact you just tried to spend the night in Vaspro after hours? I don't know. I guess you I guess I guess so. But I think still, to some of you crazy college people out there that are looking for some kind of thrill seeking deal, if you're a YouTuber. Yeah, if you're a YouTuber. Again, not encouraging it. But I think if I if I was looking back to my I you know, just hindsight going back to my college their high school days, when I was looking for something crazy to do without hurting somebody and and you know, without getting crazy criminal stuff stacked up, I think that would be a fun challenge to see. How long can I camp out in a Bass Pro or Cabela store? Now they're one in the same, I guess, now that Bass Pro bought them out. But uh that would be a pretty cool deal. If I was just looking to, you know, a a fun way to go to jail, whatever. There you go. That would be pretty cool to see how long he made. Nineteen days, that's pretty good. He's he's made something happen.

SPEAKER_00

So he's made the Guinness World Record.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe. I don't know. I don't know. Where else would you stay though? Like what else, what other store besides the Bath Pro would you like? Hey, if I could crash somewhere for three days or three weeks, nineteen days, I would go and hang out. Like, what would it be? Not Walmart.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, you see people all the time at Walmart do like an all-nighter where they're h they'll like stack up toilet uh like paper towel uh boxes and hide behind those and sleep in those, but like if I had to uh like try to sleep somewhere, it'd probably be in this huge mall or something.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. It reminds me of the movie uh what was that movie y'all like? Night of the museum?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That was uh that's what it kind of reminds me of, you know. I don't even know why, because it's a store and that was a museum, but that's what it kind of reminds me of things coming to life and just a party that takes place after hours. Uh I can't think of a better place and Bass Pro. I mean, Walmart, you know, not really. I mean, it didn't happen. Think about it with Walmart up until recently, that wouldn't have been illegal though, I guess. They're open all night long.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm sure I'm sure security's gonna boot you out after a while. Like, hey, you gotta go. Y'all are jacking around, you're not customers, you're you're vandalizing whatever. But it used to be that Walmart was open all night long. So you you just go in there and you could do that. Just camp out, you know, and and do the deal. Now it seems like it closes at midnight or eleven or whatever it is, and most of them, but I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I can't think of any uh others I'd do.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know where else is uh as a sportsman, as a hunter, I don't know anywhere else I'd like to.

SPEAKER_00

Moss yolk store.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, maybe moss yolk store.

SPEAKER_00

Like, uh wait, no. What you do is get uh cover yourself in all their bottom land stuff, and then just lay on the floor.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And then just act like you're a uh and then gr grab a fake gun, then act like you're just a mannequin holding like on the ground position.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. That would be fun. That would be fun. I uh I don't know. It'd be fun to it'd be again, it'd be a fun challenge. A fun challenge to try to pull that off and see uh how that goes down. So we'll see. What we need to figure out a way to do that. Something along that lines, it would not be illegal. It would not land us in jail. Ooh, that'd be a youth group. Yeah, maybe that'd be a youth group experience. I don't know. A lock-in at Bass Pro Shops.

SPEAKER_00

A lock in at Bass Pro Shops. That'd be fun because then like uh they have like that big old fish area.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. We need to see uh we hadn't talked to old JP Morris in a while. He's kind of the right-hand man to that whole operation. Like, you know, the son of the son of the owner and founder owner. So I mean he he can make that happen. We've done some bow fishing with him in the past and some different things, uh tournament-wise. So I don't think he's gonna let us, but maybe we need to reach out and see. That's the first uh, say, hey, hey, dude, we we don't want to be illegal. We want to keep it on the up and up, but we want to camp out. Give us one night. We want to do a lock-in. Youth youth pay, you know, youth church youth group lock in at Bass Pro shops. I think we could have some fun.

SPEAKER_00

I think we'd get like so many kids to do that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't know. We'll have to figure out how to make something like that happen. That would be good. What is the best lock-in? If you can't do it at Bass Pro, what's the next best thing lock-in-wise? Where would you want to be locked in all night long? Probably jump park. Jump park? Man, I'd be tired of jumping.

SPEAKER_00

Oh jump parks.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. We want to hear from you guys. I I know you may be saying, dude, that's a bogus story. I mean, I get it. It didn't very well today. You don't know what to think. I saw it pop up in a couple different locations, but we're bringing it to you. Maybe we're just being gullible, but we're bringing it to you for this week's posted segment. Legit or not, that's it. But what about you guys? Where would you like to be locked up? If you're going to sneak into somewhere 19 days, where would you do it? Let us know, comment, let us know what you think on that. And um Rimbo, what's coming up next? Sports camp next week. We got that coming on. Yeah, and then what are you helping out with with sports camp? If you had to pick one sport to be a coach, mentor, guide, what would it be for you?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, we're doing basketball, soccer, baseball, and football, so I mean, I don't really know that much about baseball. Um I mean, I've played soccer when I was younger, but um I guess I'll probably help out with football.

Um and you think I can pass a background check? Uh no, seriously. If you're our local folks, friends of the podcast listening and want to come be a part and help sponsor that, whatever, be a coach, holler at me. But spread the word. It's gonna be a good time next week. Oh, that's a good one. Next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Verse of the day, here's a quick word from the Word. This is 1 Corinthians 13, the love chapter, verse 4. Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy, it's not boastful, it's not arrogant. And that's a lot in just that one little piece right there. Love is patient, Rimbo. Uh we need to be patient the way we love others. Be patient in our sibling relationships, uh, patient in my father-son relationship with you. I gotta be patient with you. You need to be patient with me. Uh love is kind. We need to be kind to one another. Is it kind the way we treat each other? Is it kind the way we're treating other people? Love does not envy. Are you envious of somebody else? Like, man, I love them, but I want that. I want I'm envious of what they got. Love does not envy, it's not boastful. Boasting. A lot of people we know that are proud of themselves, aren't we? Yeah. They like to boast. We heard that some with the Warrior camp last couple days. I'm the best shooter out here. I don't miss. And guess what you do? And you missed. They're boastful. Love doesn't do that. Love is not arrogant. Um, cocky, arrogance. That ain't love. We need to have better relationships and love, loving others. And the way we love speaks volumes about how we are. So, quick word from the Word this week. And uh anyway, hope you guys will take that with you. I appreciate you guys listening. Again, apologize that we have brought you some late week posting of the podcast these last couple weeks, but it's just been some slammers. We've been in and out of town a bunch, and so that's what we got, that's what we get, and that's what we'll be um climbing back out of these last couple weeks, first half of June. Crazy, crazy busy, but we're looking forward to the days to come. Again, come hang out with us next week at the Sports Camp at Maplewood. Look forward to seeing you there. As always, chasing with all your heart, soul, and strength. And we'll see you right back here next time. Shoot straight. God bless.
