Pulani Peredo is the daughter of difunto Joseph Blas Peredo, a Chamoru teacher and activist, who also wrote memorable songs such as “Hagu Islan Guåhan” and “Ayuda I Famagu’on-ta.” She is in her early 20s and was taught the Chamoru language by her parents and wants to help future generations to learn the language by becoming a Chamoru language teacher herself.
