Fanachu Archives: Episode 14 (2017) Ha'ånen Fino' Chamoru Ha' (A Day for Only Speaking Chamoru)

From the Fanachu archives - here is the fourteenth ever episode of Fanachu, recorded and hosted by the Godfather and Founder of Fanachu - Manny Cruz way back in 2017. 

Fanachu was started by Manny Cruz through the Media Committee for Independent Guåhan and many of those early episodes were recorded either in classrooms at the University of Guam, at Independent Guåhan events or like this episode recorded at the coffee shop Chamoru language classes for Miget Bevacqua. 

This episode was recorded for "Ha'ånen Fino' Chamoru Ha'" a campaign started by Michael Lujan Bevacqua and Ken Gofigan Kuper to encourage people to try to speak Chamoru as much as possible for a single day at the start of Mes Chamoru or Chamoru Month. For this episode, the guests, which included Ed "Pulan Speaks" Leon Guerrero, Ray Lujan, AJ Taimanglo, Arielle Taitano Lowe, Maria Lynn Cruz and BJ Bell, they all tried their best to use Chamoru in their comments even though it was difficult.
