Death With Dignity Podcast
The Death With Dignity Podcast was founded by Andrew Flack, a 33-year-old living with terminal cancer, to explore the emotional, spiritual, and practical realities of end-of-life choice. Through conversations with experts from a range of backgrounds, Andrew created a space for honest dialogue that delved deeply into the social, theological and political challenges surrounding Medical Aid in Dying (MAID).
After Andrew’s passing, his friend and co-host Hasban Shaikh continued the podcast to honor his legacy, carrying forward its mission to explore stories and perspectives on what it means to die with dignity.

We are joined by Allyne Hammer, a resident of California who was diagnosed with lymphoma, and a brain tumor, over 12 years ago! Since the diagnosis, she had tried the standard treatment of care, only to experience the rarest and most harrowing of side effects. Recognizing that traditional medicine wasn’t helpful in her case, Alina has been experimenting with various homeopathic remedies for over a decade and continues to live in conjunction with her cancer. Thank you Alina, for sharing your unique story with us while advocating for quality end of life care. We hope you enjoy the episode.
