I don't think enough people are talking about how cool it is that you can connect with people all over the world, sharing your message, meeting other people. That directly related to your networth. There is a direct line there. I've seen it. I'm experiencing it. I've watched many others experience that. This is the show for creative entrepreneurs who have a message to share and want to live a life of freedom. Learn how to grow your network and net worth. Hear from exciting guests and more. My name is Dylan Schmidt, and welcome to Digital Podcaster. I am telling you, Podcasting is the ultimate hack when it comes to growing your net worth and your network. In this short episode, I'm gonna explain why I truly believe that. It's not just because I'm always talking about podcasting. It's not because I'm trying to sell you something. There's nothing for sale in this episode. So I'm just simply trying to get you to see the vision that I've been seeing for a while now and why I am so bullish on podcasting itself. This is coming from someone that is primarily introverted. I work from home, so I'm not out, at conferences. I'm not out, being in opportunities to network in person. Although that might change in the future, it's not a reality based on a lot of different factors Podcasts make it extremely, extremely easy for you to not only sell a product if you have a product for sale, for you to get sponsors or ads, there's so many opportunities available for monetization. Also it makes content creation really easy. But the part that I want to drive, deep in this episode particularly, is the networking. What I've learned through podcasts is it's so easy to build your network. It is so simple. And what is cool is I just simply reach out through whatever platform that I know that they're active on. Most of the time it's not email. It's usually through a direct message on a social media platform. And I'll just simply say why I would like to have them on my episode if I don't know them whatsoever. I keep it short and I make it really simple for them to book. And I don't have any hidden agenda. I just genuinely wanna share our conversation with you, the podcast listener. There's a lot of wins there, right? There's a win for you, the listener. There's a win for them, they get to share their message. And there's a win for me, I get to connect with the individual and create content. It's just so simple when there's all these wins happening for everybody involved, it just starts out on a good foot. I'm not really asking them for anything. I'm asking if they would like to share their message with you, which is, for one, I respect your time and I'm not just gonna put anybody on my podcast. If you've been podcasting for a while, you know that great guests are hard to come by and there's a lot of people that will wanna come on your podcast, but won't necessarily, have you on their podcast. And so when you ask somebody to come on your podcast, it's, it's really cool and it's a nice thing to be invited on a podcast. And so when it comes to growing your network, what's just cool about that is it's effortless. I've connected with a lot of people that I never would've connected with simply because I had 'em on Digital Podcaster, and that's not to say every relationship there flourished into some huge thing, and they ended up becoming a client and making, no, not like that. It's just simply these connections grow and they grow and they grow. There's a quote that I saw it attributed to a person by the name of Tim Sanders. But your network is your net worth. And essentially what they're saying in that quote is, the bigger your network, the more people you're adding value to. The more people you're connected with, the more you will be able to grow your income. So you grow your network, you grow your net worth. found that to be true. It's fairly impossible to do absolutely everything by yourself. Hey, I wanted to take a quick break and thank you so much for listening to the show Digital. Podcaster is continuing to grow because of the ratings and reviews it is getting. So if you haven't taken a quick minute to alleviate a review on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen, I would greatly appreciate it. Again, the success of the show is dictated by you, the listener, so your ratings and reviews mean the world to me. Thanks again for making Digital Podcaster success, and I could only do this with you. Anyways, back to Digital Podcaster. And when you're doing a podcast and you have guests on, or even just with your listeners, like you the person listening to this, just the connection points that you're making are absolutely underrated. Like, I don't think enough people are talking about how cool it is that you can connect with people all over the world, sharing your message, meeting other people. That directly related to your networth. There is a direct line there. I've seen it. I'm experiencing it. I've watched many others experience that. And the more you keep doing it, the more you keep growing. So if you have been thinking about starting a podast or you've already been podcasting I would really like for this whole message just to get kind of like downloaded into your brain to realize, it's so much more than just you being a podcast host. It's so much more than just your topic that you choose. Or you just have some random guests on your show. You never know who's listening to your podcast. So respect the listener. Think about your guests of who you're having on your podcast. Realize you're creating a bridge with every guest you have, and that's something that you might not see a return on ever. You might not see a return on that time spent in a year or two, or three or four or five. You never know, in five years, a guest might come back and be like, "Hey, you know what? There's that one time you had me on your podcast." Also, when you can show how professional you are as podcast. That stands out to your guests as well. So there's a lot of things going on. I just want you to be mindful of. Not that you have to be over reactive to it. It's just to realize, there's a lot of opportunity in podcasting. I hope you have a great rest of your day. I will see you in the next episode.
