In this month's episode, Beth, Brittany, and Stephanie get a crash course in the Hallyu (Hal –you) Wave as librarian Elena teaches them about the phenomenon of South Korean pop culture. In honor of Mystery Month, they discuss their favorite characters, settings and tropes (spoiler alert – it’s the librarian, in the small town, with a cat sidekick). And finally, they're celebrating Mother's Day with books by, for, and about moms!

The library is also coordinating a Coats and Hygiene Drive with Kinna's House of Love, a Quad Cities based organization working to support and promote awareness of women and children affected by abuse. Drop off items at Kinna's House of Love anytime before November 20th. These items will be distributed to those in need at the Winter Wellness Event at the Main library on December 4th. National Library Card Sign-Up Month - September is Library Card Sign-up Month! 16 local businesses are offering special perks this month for Davenport Public Library cardholders! Also, our friends at Lopiez Pizza have chosen the Library as their "artist of the month"!
