Mumma Got Skills: Women's Circle

01. Connecting with culture and knowing yourself in motherhood |Hareta McMullin

Carlie Season 1 Episode 1

A big welcome to you on our very FIRST podcast episode for Women’s Circle by Mumma Got Skills. I am so honoured to have you here today and I sincerely hope you get a lot out of hearing from other women who have gone through similar or different experiences to you.

Today I am speaking with Hareta McMullin. Hareta is from New Zealand originally but now calls sunny Brisbane her home. Hareta is a new mum to son Charlie and is a HR manager when she is not mumming. Today we dive deep straight away…my favourite place to play.

We will be chatting about growing up Mauri with light skin, the profound nature of inner work, emotional intelligence and the impact of the Black Lives Matter campaign on reconnecting with culture and heritage.

We will be speaking about having a premature baby, bonding after that experience and how the 5 Love Languages can help open up a whole lot of connection in significant relationships in your life.

 Welcoming you to the space.

Love, Carlie
