SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00We might even do two episodes this season.
SPEAKER_01I can't. Yeah, I meant to actually look to see if we um didn't it wasn't very many. I think it was one or two for season. So we got really busy. And this is one of the things that we wanted to cover real quick. It's like, why are we doing this again? Why are we coming back? Why are we being crazy again? Um it's still a busy season of our lives, but we've gotten to the point now where it's it's uh it's you know, we like to talk to each other anyway, so why not just record the craziness and and and then let the world know, you know? But I was driving down the road the other day, and I do like to listen to, you know, I like to explore the podcast world, like what's going on out there, what is influencing those around us, because the big podcasts, you know, the the Joe Rogans and the Sean Rhines and all that, the the podcasts that carry a lot of weight, they are actually changing the narrative. Or not changing, they're they're um questioning, you know, whatever mainstream uh narrative has always been accepted, and they're saying, hey, how about we look at, you know, something else, you know, like another option. Well, they're they're they're doing a good job in many aspects of uncovering evils in the world, and then they're and then they're informative too. But I don't have time. Like the the big podcasts are like two and a half hours, like three hours long.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was gonna say I have I haven't been able to listen to any of that because I don't have time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Like sometimes when I'm roasting coffee or or I'm packaging or something that day, you know, I'll turn on some one of the episodes that might have some something interesting, something relevant or whatever. And I'll even then, you know, it's like you get only so much time. But I I was sitting there, I'm dry, I think I was looking at one of the one of those podcasts in the time, and I'm like, man, two and a half hours. What if you could just listen to a podcast um for like like an encouraging podcast?
SPEAKER_02Sure.
SPEAKER_01Like hopefully ours would be encouraging because we're a happily married Christian couple that might be able to, you know, evoke some kind of advice. Sure. Evoke advice, but um, but like 20 minutes, 30 minutes, something that doesn't take up an enormous amount of your day, right? Sure. And so I called you and I was like, why don't we start doing this again? You know, a lot of people really liked we we had a pretty big listenership where there's no, you know, it was just fun to do. And so we figured let's we're gonna try and do this once a week to put out one one show a week that comes out on Tuesday mornings, gives you a little boost through the week, and you know, yeah, yeah, we'll talk about it.
SPEAKER_00No, super fun.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So you got real I mean, I think it's super fun if we can now that you have um help roasting, yeah, and we have a bigger roaster, yeah. You're not roasting until two o'clock in the morning.
SPEAKER_02Every day.
SPEAKER_00And that's yeah, and that was really kind of what made us step back.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, we had other things also, but yeah, that didn't help that you, you know, weren't here.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You guys don't want to listen to me just go, hi, I'm Colleen. And oh you're Martha.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so if you you know if you've listened to us in the past and you don't know us personally, you we just some updates is our oldest son is now off doing an apprenticeship at Polyface Farms, Polyface Farm, which is owned by Joel Salatin. And so you may be familiar for him, but he was selected from a lot of people, you know, I don't know, hundreds of applicants. He was one of the eleven that were selected to do a an apprenticeship theory.
SPEAKER_00We miss him.
SPEAKER_01Yes, we miss him and and we're we're proud of him, and we he's learning a ton. He calls us all the time and tells us all of the cool things he's doing, but which is a lot. Yeah, we have still have three kids at the house, and we have um we still have sheep and pigs and chickens and rabbits and guineas and b uh other stuff. So it's it keeps us busy. Uh Colleen homeschools the kids and still, and that has been an enormous blessing, and we've just we're still we're still hosting a house church. We just had our sixth year anniversary hosting house church, and we're doing, I think, a fantastic series now on the Lord's Supper, and really what it is, and how we should be understanding it. So it's been a it's been a really encouraging time, the things that we've at least to me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, it's it's been very interesting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but um, so we were just gonna like this past week, just to I guess give an example of how weird and crazy it gets, but I got into a mess of chiggers somehow. And you know, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Well, we were you were fishing.
SPEAKER_01Is that what we think I I think it was so and if you don't know, if you're not from the south, there is an official quantity called a mess.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, that's an a mess. Is the hot mess a different thing?
SPEAKER_01A mess of chiggers, like messages or I ate me a whole mess of crystals burgers.
SPEAKER_00Oh, gross, but don't do that.
SPEAKER_01So it's a lot, but I have never had I that that I know of, I've never gotten in into chiggers, but man, they tore my legs up over the past few days, and so um I'm sitting here itching. Like you might even, yeah, I'm I'm scratching right now. It's but it's so so bad. I had no idea, but um I got you some really good salve. Yeah, so there's a great store down the road from us called the Station Co. in Morgan City, and they actually sell our coffee too, but they're a great gift shop in a store, and they sell great organic products and good for you stuff. And so Colleen went down and got me some itch cream, and I have just been applying it as much as possible because it's it's so bad I can't, it's hard to sleep, and so it's gotten a little bit better, it's definitely helped. The itch cream has helped. In fact, I'm looking for it.
SPEAKER_00I was gonna say, Where is it?
SPEAKER_01But there it is, it's over there. But um, yeah, anyhow. So uh I have been struggling with that, and so if any of if anybody has suggestions, we were reading last night, like I was trying to, I knew it was a bug bite. I thought at first I thought a spider just got loose in my pants and had just gone to town on my legs. Goodness, but then there's so many bites that I was like, man, so I started looking it up.
SPEAKER_00Now I didn't get bit, so we knew there wasn't like something.
SPEAKER_01Well, so we went fishing and we have a little pond in the what we call the uh front pasture or upper pasture.
SPEAKER_02Upper pasture, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And and so my dad has put fish in the pond. Um, and we were the put them in as black baby fish. Yeah, and so they're growing your brim. So we're testing, and but the kids didn't get any, so I don't know if I just got into you were in a different spot than they were. Yeah, maybe maybe anyways, I'm glad they didn't get it. So I've got a mess mess of chiggers in my pants. Chiggers is a funny word too. But um, and then one of the things that I have done in the past with my oldest son is when they turned 16, I wanted I've always wanted to take them to a concert. And um, because at that point they're mature enough to kind of handle the you know, somewhat the crazy that's concert life, the concertness of, you know, and so um one of my oldest son really liked the band, uh, Greta Van Fleet, and they happened to be coming into town, um, the city that we're near um a couple a couple years back. And so I surprised him with tickets to go see them, and it was like the most it's the most incredible show I had ever been to. And I mean, just fire and flames and great music, you know, really good, but it was so loud that I had I had to like go and research getting concert earplugs, which sounds like such an old man thing to do.
SPEAKER_00No, they were so necessary. I have no shame in it now because your ears were ringing for months at the end.
SPEAKER_01Six months. I had to put stuff like what was that medicine that you had to be called by my ear. Lymphatic lymphatic cream or something.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I can't remember what it was called, but it was something very close to lymphatic cream.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't know. So our second son, our second oldest son, Jonah, is turning 16 here in about a month. And so for his he uh really likes Creed. Who doesn't and I had gone to see Creed at Memphis in May in either 99 or 2000. I think it probably was I wanted to say 99, but I'm pretty sure it was 2000 because 99 is when I came back to the States from Fiji. But um, so 26 years ago, I had seen Creed. 26 years ago. That's amazing. Isn't that wild? Yeah. So they they are doing a tour now, and it's the original band. And um, and so I got Jonah and I took Jonah and Michael, but this time we actually got those ear, those um concert earplugs. And the way that they work is they're not like nor like normal earplugs would just block a lot of the sound. These just reduce the decibels, but you can still hear the music pretty good. So it's pretty incredible how it works, but super ear-saving. Yeah, like no ringing afterwards, and and it was a lot of it was really loud to where we had to make sure our earplugs were in. But the boys didn't have and you know, I don't have to worry about hearing damage and all that stuff, and so that was really good. But the concert was really, I was very impressed. Like Scott Staff is still, he's getting it, like and Mark Tremontti, and and I mean they're they're still just playing amazingly, but it was a fun show, and and Creed's very clean, so um it wasn't something I had to, you know, be concerned about language, like you have to usually be concerned about language with most concerts, but he's very clean, very positive messaging, you know, a lot of it's little uh some platitudes that you know they're always about peace and love, but they never really get into the specifics of who like he was obviously referencing Jesus quite a few times, right? But he never actually got so far as to say Jesus. He actually said the one who came down to die for us, but he never actually said his name. And he was referencing like that is the great the greatest sacrifice was the one who can't who and he pointed, you know, to God, the son, the son of God, but he never actually says Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_00Interesting.
SPEAKER_01So um, but it was it was an it was a neat concert, it was fun, it was really fun. Um, but that happened last week, and then you want to tell them about the sheep?
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, so we live in the south, and we can get some pretty gnarly storms blow through just all of a sudden, and winds, high winds and flooding rains and near tornadic activity. And so a couple months ago we had an especially gnarly storm blow through, and we had we kind of prepped for it because we knew something was coming, and so we put all the animals like made sure they were safe and you know, under um shelter and all that stuff, and got up in the morning and poked my head out, you know, sun's rising up, and I'm like, hmm, something sounds and we were separating the ewes from the roads. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because we're not planning to break.
SPEAKER_01We weren't gonna land until next spring.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Especially with Kaigon. We were like, yeah, let's just wait till next spring, the spring grasses and all that stuff. And we just got this property, so we're like trying to make things rest, and we're trying to just I don't know, just kind of rest. But anyways, so I poke my head out and I'm like, something sounds weird coming over from the the back pasture. And so I wake the boys up, you know, a little earlier than normal, and I'm like, I think they're out, they're sounding disturbed. So we go over there, sure enough, they're all out. And it probably been, I don't know, a couple maybe two hours, yes, maybe that they had been out, and so we get them all situated, and they're all happy and put the ewes back in their pen, put the roots back in their pen, separate everybody. Separate everybody, and they're totally happy. And then, yes, was it yesterday? Day before. Yesterday, um, we go to check on them, and my son radio, we have these walkie-talkie things, and then he radios and him. He goes, Mom, one of the you've she's looking weird. Like, could you come over here and look at her? She looks like I don't know, sick or something. So I'm in the middle of trying to get breakfast going. And sure, yeah. So I turn the stove off and about put my boots on, and all of a sudden, like, I don't know, a minute later, he radios back and he goes, Uh, she just gave birth. Wait, what? How did in the world? Wait, uh uh what did I hear you right? He's like, Yeah, you heard me right. She just gave birth. There's a lamb sitting here in the pasture. So, anyways, I do go over there and make sure she's alright because we know you need to make sure that they're gonna accept the lamb and that you know there's no problems with the birth and all that stuff. So I go over there and she did great. She's the cutest little lamb, she's yeah, nursing and everything's fine. And I'm like, that's wild.
SPEAKER_01And so we and I put pictures, some pictures on the socials, and I have a video on there if you want to go check that out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it was so it was just so bizarre. And so we come back over here and the right farm coffee roaster socials.
SPEAKER_01I should say, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So we come, we come home and we're just like texting you, going, something so weird. Well, we're like, okay, well, I guess maybe and we're trying to like do the math, like maybe it was that storm or something, and you said something along the lines of, Well, are there any other lambs? And I went, No, I'm sure that was the only one. They didn't look like they didn't look exceptionally pregnant.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00Like, it's not like we don't ever think it wasn't an obvious anything.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And we're over there like all the time, so it's not like they're just you know in the pasture all by themselves or something. But anyways, I guess we just weren't looking for it. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02You're not looking for it.
SPEAKER_00We're just not even looking for that. So, anyways, a couple hours later, one of the neighborhood boys he comes over and they're gonna go and check on the the new lamb and give them water, and we give them like some molasses and you know, some stuff for them uh while they're nursing and give her some some more feed and the radio again, and they're like, uh, there's another lamb in the pasture. And I was like, we know that's the you know, the lamb. They're like, No, no, no, there's two. Yeah. I was like, Two? Did she give birth to another one? And all of a sudden, one of the other youths has another lamb. So there's now three lambs over there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it was just like, so we're watching all this unfold and we're like, what is going on? Yeah. So during that last, you know, storm, just I guess, whoops, hello.
SPEAKER_01The rams went and did their job and and they did it quickly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So we got three surprise lambs, very cute lambs. Uh, one of the one of the lambs is being rejected by the the the the you that had two is rejecting one. So we're trying to figure out how to fix that. We're feeding that one colostrum just to try and keep that one alive. Um, but the other you that we have is three Us. We have three U's total.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01And so she might be pregnant. We're looking at her now.
SPEAKER_00Because at this point, like why not? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And usually what happens is like this, at least for us, is they'll all have babies within a day or two of each other when they lamb. So we might find we might find another two another two lambs in the morning. Um because she's looking at healthy or she's pregnant.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So uh so those rams got out, and boy, they gave us some surprise babies. But now um now we have these lambs, which is good that they had them now because they can grow up before the winter.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you know, and that's why we were kind of trying to wait because we're like, this is new property, we need to rest it, and we want to give it a whole season. But I still want a lamb again. Yeah, and so we but we might have no choice.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00We'll just do this again. If a storm blows through, we're getting lambs, yeah, I guess.
SPEAKER_01But uh, anyways, so that was another surprise for us. So we got lambs, we we did a concert, a rare concert that was in the middle of the week. So it kind of like we you and I were talking, you know, a couple hours ago about how even you know, you get out of your routine, you're especially for us, it's it's school, right?
SPEAKER_00So it's yeah, we're in school right now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, which is oh yeah, talk about that. Home homes how how you do your homeschooling routine.
SPEAKER_00So we school year round. Um and I like to be done by the nice part of the spring and really take our summer air quote summer break in the spring when it's really beautiful weather and we do a lot of outside stuff, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um and then right now it's like a hundred some odd degrees, it's real hot, so there's not a whole lot that you really want to be outside doing except for swimming, and we don't have a pool or you know, anything like that.
SPEAKER_01So it's kind of it's not miserable, it's doable because we have a garden, but it's a really good idea because you you you just go ahead and uh instead of just staying inside and and doing nothing, you might as well just knock out some of the school year um while you're inside anyways, if it's if it's that hot.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, when it's this hot, like it's not like we don't ever go outside because it's hot outside. Like they're out playing ball, you know, but when it's not very, very hot.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00But in the heat of the day, you gotta be in anyways.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00It's always work for us to do our schoolwork then. So we're actually, you know, a couple months into school and everybody's doing well, but we are uh working hard. So yeah, when you when we got out of our routine to go to the concert, it was it was a little bit weird and we had some dental appointments and that kind of thing.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Mixed up into there.
SPEAKER_01And they're the boys did so good.
SPEAKER_00Um they're so very cheerful with you know great attitudes and their work didn't suffer, and they said it was totally worth it to walk around a little sleepy.
SPEAKER_01To give you an idea of the schedule for us, it's the you know, the boys they wake up and they um have to go do morning chores, you know. So they're feeding the hogs, they're feeding the and our daughters feeding the the we have. You gotta feed feed the cats, the dogs, the rabbits, the guineas, the pigs. Both sets. Both uh yeah. We have that's another thing we're doing now is meat hogs. We did uh we did one meat hog, we raised her up, and then we processed her ourselves and got 200 and something pounds of meat off of her. And so we just went in and got two this time, and we're raising them up, and then the boys go across to the pastures and they take care of the uh chickens and the pigs and the sheep. Chickens and the sheep. That's right, we hear all the animals. And uh, but then they gotta do that twice a day. So there's two times a day, and then there's school in between, and it's it's a very busy schedule, and they they do such a good job. I'm always proud of them. And so our oldest son, Jonah, to brag on him, he created a board game.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01If you hear them giggling in the background, yeah, they're playing sneaking up, but he created a very elaborate, like I was just playing with them, they were trying to teach me the rules, and I was going, you know, kind of going all over it with them. But Jonah created um a card deck and he did all the graphics himself and put all the you know scoring and all that stuff on each card. It's very elaborate. Um, but he created all this over a few months and then he sent it off to a company, yeah, and then they printed these cards for it was our Christmas gift to him.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So what is it now? July. So seven months.
SPEAKER_00So it really is Christmas in July here because he just got them in the mail.
SPEAKER_01Right. But he worked really hard. Once we gave him that Christmas gift, he started working on creating the cars and the graphics, anyways. He got them in today. It was just a really cool, um, a cool thing, and he's very creative. And so um, we were playing just now, but um, I'm interested in seeing how how the rest of the game, they're kind of developing it now and kind of finding. Yeah, they have all the pieces, and he Drew his own board.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so they're playing on their own. It's called Grid Conquer. So it's a big grid, and it's you move your pieces and your um thing. You move it's a basically his kind of kind of, I guess, his version of risk.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, kind of. Right? Something like that.
SPEAKER_01It's kind of a it's you're conquering other side. Um so, anyways, proud of proud of him.
SPEAKER_00And that's gonna be fun to see how it developed.
SPEAKER_01Wildly creative. Like I'm just kind of blown away. But I don't get like I have never been able to get games like um risk and stuff. Like they're complex.
SPEAKER_00There's strategy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, strategy.
SPEAKER_00Which I would have thought you would have been really into because you're very good at strategy.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I could learn, I just I don't know if I I don't know if I've ever just had the the wanted to the bandwidth or this.
SPEAKER_00I don't know if aren't they like longer games?
SPEAKER_01They are, they're longer games, and I never really had any friends that were interested in in that kind of game to teach me. And so the boys play RISC a lot, and then they have this other one, this risk related, like allies and the Axis and Allies or something like that. So it's kind of a history-based version of it too. And so they are creating their own versions and anyways, cool stuff.
SPEAKER_00Cool stuff, but so what should we talk about next time?
SPEAKER_01Next time, yeah. Well, we're gonna talk about you wanted to cover, you wanted to talk a little bit about cold brew, coffee.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I've got okay. Do we have time? Yeah, of like two seconds, I swear.
SPEAKER_01No, it's we got time.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so we started doing cold brew just out of curiosity, and it's hot. Have we mentioned that yet? That it's really, really hot down here.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, in Alabama.
SPEAKER_00For our weekend in the afternoon, when we're doing a lot of um catching up on the farm uh projects, uh, we kind of reward ourselves with a nice cold brew afternoon and afternoon cup of coffee. And so you did some research and found out how to make it. Yeah. Remind me, how do we how did you do that again?
SPEAKER_01The other thing too is a lot of people don't realize that there's iced coffee and then there's cold coffee.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was doing iced coffee, like where we'd brew some and then I just save like the tiny little bit throughout the country.
SPEAKER_01So iced coffee is just literally like you you do your normal drip coffee and then you put it in the fridge. Yeah, and that's what I was doing.
SPEAKER_00And that was good.
SPEAKER_01And cold brew is a concentrated version of it. So cold brews, you take course coarse grinds and in a certain amount, and you just mix a certain amount of water in those overnight, and then you filter, and then you uh yeah, you filter all the the ground grounds out, but it's a concentrated version, so you just pour some of that into a cup of a glass ice and you fill up the rest with water. And um, you know, to taste, I guess, or whatever, however you want, you know, strong you. But we did our medium Guatemala, yeah. That because it's in our Italian roast, right? Our Italian uh espresso.
SPEAKER_00We did.
SPEAKER_01I have an espresso blend now that's an Italian roast, and so we tried that one's really good. Yeah, obviously darker roast, but the boy that Guatemala.
SPEAKER_00The Guatemala, I think, is supposed to be a cold brew bean. Yeah, this one specifically, it's like highly rated for cold brew, which is why I think we started doing it because we're like, we should try it. Yeah, you know, yeah, and so I think the amount of time was like 18 hours max that you're supposed to let it sit. So when you say overnight, you want to make sure you're filtering it between that 12 and 18 hours.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, is that a max like uh 24 hours, I think, is the most you want to do.
SPEAKER_00We did it, I think we did it close to the eight hours.
SPEAKER_01Was it about 16? Yeah, 16.
SPEAKER_00And that was perfect, like it wasn't really concentrated, but it was it developed all the flavors and filtered it out. But what I started doing in the afternoon is I've started adding in um some of the raw milk that we get.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I add a lot more than I would normally. Like normally I like um if I were to put cream in my coffee, which I haven't in a long time. I do it kind of like um how do I put it? Uh Michael Jackson thriller era, yeah. That kind of level. Yeah, but my cold brew, I like it almost almost all milk. Yeah, it's so good. And then I just do like a little shake of cinnamon. Yeah, heard that it like sweetens it a little bit and kind of curbs your appetite for sweets.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I don't know, something about the afternoon. I just want something sweet.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So it's kind of with the milk and the cream, and it's just nice. It is a little bit of cinnamon.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I don't do any kind of smells good. It does smell good. I like I like how you make your coffees. I I have always I'm just a black drink black coffee drinker.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I do normally, but cold brew with a little bit of cream and cinnamon. It's been so yummy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I like it straight, straight black still, especially the Guatemala. I've heard uh uh actually a lot of feedback from customers saying that they are doing all almost all the coffees they buy from me. I'm hearing like, oh, I'm doing a cold brew, and it's now because we put a little video out on it and how to do it. And um, so that was good. But yeah, we're we're experimenting with that. We actually just we we're pretty basic actually for coffee roasters because we just do drip coffee pretty much, you know. I do a French press at during my day job um because it's convenient, because I have a little uh water boiler thing at work, and so I'll I'll heat up some water and then do a little French press coffee during the like during the midday. And so that's been nice. But um other than that, and that's actually the fanciest I've gotten, but we bought we we did end up doing the research and buying a pour over.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we haven't tried that yet.
SPEAKER_01We haven't tried it yet, because pour over is kind of the concept is you're taking it, you're taking your time, taking a little bit more time with it, you know. So you're slowly pouring the water in. It's the same concept as drip coffee, except you're actually pouring that water yourself, pouring over. Pour over. But uh, I'm curious how that is going to affect the flavors as well, because I want to see, you know, I kind of want to see across across the spectrum how our coffees taste and the how the notes come out with different surprising. So now, yeah, because French Press is different, it gives a great flavoring. Drip coffee, our drip coffee maker is really good. Yeah, I like that. We have a Mocha Master still that we've been using for years, and it's just fantastic. But um uh I've really enjoyed like branching out to the other ways to do it, you know, and I'm trying to understand how other people like their coffees because I'm making a lot of their coffee. So, how you know, how are they enjoying it? I need to understand that from my own perspective, and I need to be able to educate myself as a as a coffee roaster now having done this for quite a few years. Yeah, but uh yeah, we're trying to to build the build the company more and and you know the coffee roasting is a is a saturated market, and um, and we believe that our coffee is great, but we want to make sure that you understand our story and that people buy the story, you know. Like, why do people buy coffee? Well, they buy coffee because they believe in the the mark, you know, what what are they marketing? What are they telling? You know, like you have like brands like uh oh, what's that, what's that uh military it's not military, but it it definitely is on uh black uh black rifle, black rifle company who um are a bunch of posers, but whatever.
SPEAKER_00I'm tell us how you really feel.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, they are.
SPEAKER_00I know you've never held that. Um if this is your first introduction into but you but see, they have a story, right?
SPEAKER_01And so um I think the companies that are gonna succeed are the ones that are gonna are actually roasting really good products, good coffee, but they also are telling a story. So you're part of, you know, like we always write notes to our customers because we want them to be part of yeah, you you do a great job with that. And we uh we want them to be a part of the right farm coffee roaster family, you know, the right farm family. But anyways, uh if you want, so we're gonna get back into this uh and and we talked a lot about coffee.
SPEAKER_00We do. I think we need some coffee. We need some coffee late. Yeah, we're looking forward to our morning cup.
SPEAKER_01Well, this is sorry, y'all. So the scripture that we chose tonight, this is our our this is the scripture for tonight's Galatians 6, verse 9, and it says, and let us not grow weary of doing good. So in order to not grow weary, sometimes you need coffee, right? Yeah, but it goes on for in due season we will reap if we do not give up. So uh we can can encourage we can encourage everybody and encourage each other to not grow weary because the world can drag you down and the world can make you want to give up. And Paul says there in Galatians to the Galatians, don't give up. You'll, you know, uh in due time, you'll see God's purposes, and and if you don't see them here in this life, you'll see them in eternity. Um, so that's scripture for tonight.
