Andrea Nordling
My friend, welcome back to The Profitable Nutritionist Podcast. It is story time today, and actually this is kind of fun for me to be recording because I had an entirely different episode that I was going to record for you today. And then I was on a walk and I was pondering the birth of something that I'm about to tell you about and the origin of it. And I thought, you know what? I think I need to tell this story on the podcast. I think this would be super helpful for all of you listening. So here we go, starting at the end, which is what I am teeing up, the 3K plus in 30 days challenge. If you are a long time listener of the podcast, I'm sure you've heard me talk all about the 3K in 30 days challenge before.
00:44
Andrea Nordling
If you are a new listener, I want to bring you on the journey of where this challenge came from and why I decided to start running it. So you can be thinking of some possibilities in your business a little bit differently as well. The 3k in 30 days challenge is just as it sounds. It is a challenge that we do inside of the profitable nutritionist program. We run it live twice a year, and when we do, the results that students in the program get during 30 days absolutely blows my mind. But the first time this happened, it was very much so a surprise to me. And that's the story I'm going to tell you today, but for context, we are doing the challenge in June for the entire month of June. And the exciting news here. Drum roll. Are you ready?
01:32
Andrea Nordling
If you haven't looked at your calendar yet, June 1 is on a Monday. Come on. It's a sign. It's perfect. The stars have aligned and the first of the month is on a Monday. That feels so good, especially for something like the 3K plus in 30 days challenge, which we do inside the program again. So I'm getting excited. I'm getting amped for the challenge. And I'm thinking about all of you who listen to the podcast who have been considering joining the profitable nutritionist program, and for whatever reason, you have not done it yet. And I want to tell you right now that you want to be part of this challenge. You want to join the program. Right now. I'm recording this in May.
02:10
Andrea Nordling
Get in May, so we can get you onboarded and we can create your 90 day roadmap, which I'll tell you about in a second, and we can get you in and plugged in so that on Monday morning, June 1st, you are starting the challenge with us. And in The Challenge in June, you are going to set your revenue goal, which I will suggest is at least $3,000. That's why it's called the 3K plus in 30 Days challenge. You pick the number at least $3,000 to make in June and then you are going to get to work with help of the exercises in the challenge that you will do for 10 minutes or less every day in June. And you will blow your mind with how quickly you bring in clients and you bring in revenue when you follow the challenge.
02:51
Andrea Nordling
And how can I so confidently say this, you wonder? Well, it's because we have been doing it since early 2022. We have run this challenge many times. The results compound over time. Students in the program do the Challenge over and over again because their business and their brain is at a different level at different parts of the year and different parts of their business growth and they get incredible results by repeating it. So I watch this from the sidelines every time we do the challenge and it push me in the best way to believe more in what is possible and in how quickly things are possible. So that is the genesis of this episode today and why I want to tell you the story that really sparked me wanting to do the challenge and created the challenge in the first place.
03:40
Andrea Nordling
So we're going to go back in the wayback machine to 2021, when I first created and launched what is now known as the profitable nutritionist program. I recently told this story on a coaching call in the program and I realized I don't think I've ever told this story on the podcast before, or maybe not in this way. So I'll be really honest about it. I know that students in the at that coaching college in the program are like, oh my gosh, it's so good to hear this. So maybe I don't talk about the failures as much as I should, and that's on me to do more of that. So here we go. I'm going to bring you on the journey. 2021, The beginning of the year. I knew I was creating the profitable nutritionist program.
04:21
Andrea Nordling
It had a different name back then, but it's the program that we now sell as tpn. And I had a goal of selling. I think it was, let's see, I think that it was a hundred enrollments in that first year. I wanted to sell a hundred people. I'm pretty sure that was the number. Regardless, I had my launch plan mapped out for the year to do four quarterly launches. So here's my best plan for the year. I'm going to launch quarterly. There will be an open enrollment period where the only time when you could join the program was during the open enrollment period, when. When the doors close. The doors close until the next quarter. And so I launched it and I believe that we had. I say we. It wasn't a we back then. It was a one woman show.
05:01
Andrea Nordling
It was just me. I believe that I had 10 enrollments the first time I launched in March of 2021. So it didn't make my goal. I was super excited, however, about the 10 people that came in that validated the offer. We were. I mean, I had been doing holistic business coaching for years up to that point, but this was a new offer at a new price point. I was delivering it differently. I offering a lot more support, a lot more access and new tools. And so to me, it was different though. I definitely. It wasn't the first thing I had sold by any means, but it was a new price point and it was stretching me to believe what was possible at that point. The program was $3,000 and it was the most expensive thing I had ever sold up to that point.
05:44
Andrea Nordling
And it really stretched me to believe that people would pay $3,000 and that I could get them results consistently. But I knew I was gonna do it and I knew I was gonna figure it out. And I knew if it didn't work right away, I was gonna make it work. And lo and behold, it did. So 10 people came on board and they started getting results. And I thought, okay, so this quarterly launch plan that I thought was gonna be my plan for the year is not gonna get me to my goal. Cause I'm already behind. What am I gonna do differently? And so I launched again before I had planned to before the next quarter. And I sold more spots. Still wasn't at my goal yet.
06:18
Andrea Nordling
I thought, okay, I think I'm just going to need to sell this a lot more times than I thought I was going to. So lesson number one here, which isn't actually the lesson of this story, but it just bears pointing out that we can drastically, and I would say most of the time we do drastically underestimate the amount of time and repetition that is going to be necessary to sell. And we just need more at bats. We just need more times where we step up to the plate and we figure it out and we have conversations and we sell and we are telling people the words I can help you and consistently doing it. Okay. We just need more practice. So for that reason, I never recommend Anybody new in their business do open and close launches.
06:59
Andrea Nordling
I had at this point been selling online for five years full time. So I had the experience, I had the know how as an online marketer to do open and closed launches. And even then it was still harder than it needed to because you just don't get enough opportunities to sell enough at bats. I don't know how else to say it. So anyway, I was in that struggle of figuring out, oh, okay, so this isn't going as fast as I thought it was going to. I need more practice. I need to just sell more. I just need to launch more often. So I continued to launch all throughout that year and it ended up that I did exceed my goal for the year.
07:33
Andrea Nordling
But it took me until December of the year, the final launch of the year, in December of 2021, to get there. And I had sold. I did maybe like 10 or 12 launches instead of the four that I thought it was going to be. So I ended up getting there. All roads lead to Rome. I did it, but it was in a different way than I thought it was going to be. So again, lesson here is let's just be very curious about what the best way is going to be. And we're never going to know what the best way is until we can look back in hindsight behind us and go, oh, okay, that's how it worked perfect. We can't really anticipate, we don't know what we don't know. And things tend to take longer than we think they're going to.
08:11
Andrea Nordling
Okay, so there's a lesson in there. But fast forward to December of 2021. I had just finished up the final launch of the year for tpn. I was very excited because I had made my goal. We had just welcomed a bunch of new people into the program. Again, I say we. There was no we at that point. It was just me. I'm so used to saying we as a collective over here, but there was no team at that point. It was just me. So I had just closed the doors. I had just finished sending the launch emails, I had just finished the webinars and all, everything that is required in doing a launch. And I was in holiday prep mode. And I had, you know, shut the doors. I was done.
08:53
Andrea Nordling
I was done launching what were going to make for the year, what we. I so used to say we. What I was going to make for the year I had made. And I was grateful for it. I was super excited. There were several people that I had been talking with during that launch that were considering joining the program and ultimately did, but they had shared with me. I didn't do sales calls at that point. There was no one one sales calls. So everybody was engaging through emails. They were purchasing straight from email to the sales page or the program and enrolling. And so I had some back and forth via email with some people that were considering enrolling. One of them in particular was really going back and forth.
09:30
Andrea Nordling
She was, you know, personally kind of having a hard time with some circumstances in her life. And I had told her I was praying for her, which I was, and I was very excited to see that she did end up enrolling in the program. But along with that, and I'm sure that any of you listening to this who have had sales conversations with people that, you know, you could help that are an ideal client for you, but they have very compelling circumstances that are making it hard for them to invest financially. You feel for them, right? And you. And you like, okay, if you're going to figure it out. I'm going to hold space for that.
10:01
Andrea Nordling
And also, when they do figure it out, our brains can go to a place where we feel a lot of pressure and we feel like, holy cow, I know this was hard for them to make that decision and to make that investment, and now it's all on me to make sure they get results. Now, I don't advocate thinking that, but I know that our brains go there. Mine has many times, and this was one of them. It's also something I coach my clients on, and I also have pretty good process in the DPN program for reversing those thoughts and getting into a place of. Of service and momentum and purpose for your people. But, yes, our brains go there. And my. I'm a very human person as well.
10:35
Andrea Nordling
And mine went there in that moment when she enrolled, and I thought, oh, my gosh, okay, pressure's on. Hope she gets results. Let's dig in. Let's help her. Of course, I say let's. Like there was anybody else. Me, let me help her. Let me get in and work on this. Her name is Natalie, and Natalie had an excellent first few days in the program. Within the first 48 hours in the program, she got to work. She was highly motivated. Again, it was not an easy investment for her to make, which we had done a podcast about in the past. So if you've been a longtime podcast listener, Natalie has told this story from her point of view on the podcast. I'm not sharing anything that she hasn't already shared.
11:12
Andrea Nordling
And we'll link that in the show notes, by the way, so you can go listen to that episode if you want to. But from my point of view, I was feeling the pressure for Natalie's sake, and I wanted to make sure she got results. So I had closed down the launch. I was buying Christmas presents for kids. I was fully engaged in real life, getting ready for Christmas mode and out of launch mode, and I pulled up to a store I was going to go shop at. And I remember this. I will remember it forever. This is the story I told on the TPN coaching call. A few weeks ago. I pulled up to a store to go shopping for my kids for some last minute Christmas stuff.
11:47
Andrea Nordling
And for some reason, after I parked my car, I pulled up my phone and I opened up my mail and I looked at my email. And that is not something I typically do. I'm not really one that is on their phone a lot or I'm even checking email that much. I don't know why I did that, but I did. And I had an email from Natalie in there and it was less than two days since she had joined the program, since the launch ended. And she said, thank you for praying for me. And I'm paraphrasing here, but she said, I just want to share that I went through the first few videos in the program. I completely changed my offer and I made $7,000 in the first day. That's more that she had worked at a hospital previously.
12:25
Andrea Nordling
She said, that's more than I would have made in a month at the top of the pay scale at the hospital I was working at. And this is incredible. And so I read that email and I started bawling in the parking lot of Dick's Sporting Goods. That is what happened. Why did I have such a visceral, emotional response to this email? That's the whole point of this podcast episode. The reason I had that response in that moment, and I will remember it forever, is because my belief was completely challenged in the best way on how quickly somebody could get results and how quickly the process that I teach works and how.
13:08
Andrea Nordling
How it is such a disservice for me to ever assume that somebody will take a long time to get results or that it would take longer than two days, apparently, for somebody to see results and to blow their own mind with how quickly they can get progress. And so up to that point, I had, of course, had students that had been successful and in various degrees and in various timelines. But this really shattered my ideas of how quickly it was realistic to completely change your business and the results that you get when you massively simplify. Natalie blew it out of the water. She was just a total slap in the face for me, belief wise of what was possible in the best way. Again, I bald and I don't tears. Not that it's right or wrong, but just as.
13:58
Andrea Nordling
As an aside, tears are not usually my go to emotion. I don't cry very often. So the fact that I bawled like a baby in the parking lot of Dick's Sporting goods in mid December 2021 is a testament to how incredible that moment was for me as a business owner and for me to hold belief for how quickly it is possible to change everything as far as our results go in our business, in our life, everywhere. We could apply this all over the place. But the reason I wanted to record this podcast for you today, and I feel really compelled to do that, is because this is possible for your clients too. And on some level, I think we all just collectively people.
14:39
Andrea Nordling
Humans on planet Earth tend to make calculations on what is realistic and what is possible based on what we have seen before. And yet we know if we zoom out and look at the big picture that things happen all the time that have never happened to us before. This is just also what it is to be a human on planet Earth. Things will surprise us all the time. New results are possible, new frontiers, new opportunities, new skills, just new connections, new everything. It's all possible. But we forget that, right? And we try to hedge our bets on what is realistic and what have we seen in the past and what is normal, what is common.
15:20
Andrea Nordling
And all of those thoughts, though our brain offers them to us to be very pragmatic and it sounds like it is, you know, prudent and a good idea, it also really reduces our belief in what is possible and the possibility of anything being available is something that we really need to lean into as business owners. We really need to do that. And so I offer to you today this perspective that changed for me in December of 2021 and led me to create what is now called the 3K plus in 30 Days challenge, which I then offered in January of 2022. So the story continues. I bawled like a baby at Dick's Party Goods and then my brain was just overflowing in the best possible way with how can we reverse engineer that and do it for more people faster?
16:11
Andrea Nordling
How can we get Natalie results for more people? How like, what happened for her? What changed for her, what ultimately, like, what was it that caused her to get great results so quickly? Though others had gotten those same results, they had never been reported to me within 48 hours. So for me, it was the first time I had heard of it. And I just, I got to work and I brainstormed all of the ways that I thought I could do that might be possible. And I created the 3K in 30 days challenge. Now, because the profitable nutritionist program at that point was $3,000, the 3K investment was what I wanted people to cover in their first month in the program. We have now changed the price of the program. It has evolved, and it has improved quite a bit.
16:54
Andrea Nordling
It no longer costs $3,000, but that also has resulted in different revenue numbers in the challenge. So as we have done the Challenge since early 20, I have watched people's revenue goals increase as my level of belief has increased. Now just follow along with me here. Okay? So as I set the stage and set the expectation that anything was possible and that bigger numbers were possible in a shorter amount of time, what happened is I attracted clients into the program that got bigger results in a shorter amount of time because they pushed the envelope on what was possible for themselves. They thought bigger, Their possibility was so much greater. And so I asked, ask you, as the owner of your business, how can you do the same for your future clients and your current clients and yourself for that matter?
17:46
Andrea Nordling
How can you reimagine your own timelines, your thoughts on how quickly results can happen, what is realistic? Because who decides what's realistic anyway? That's not even a thing. It's like, what. Anything could be realistic. So are you challenging yourself on that, or do you have the subtle but very common belief. And I've been there many times. I can find myself falling into the same pattern too. So I have to question it. I hope you do, too. Are you subtly believing that it takes a long time for your people to get results, that it takes a long time for them to have to stick with your process before they are happy or before they make progress or before they feel like there's a shift? And if your honest answer is yes, and that's true, then maybe we need to change a process a little bit.
18:32
Andrea Nordling
Maybe we need to add in a little bit different components and milestones and activation points to your process, which is something I teach in my program, is how to actually structure the process that you bring your clients through so that they are feeling momentum sooner. A lot of strategy behind that. But if you are just not Believing that it's possible for things to change quickly and for next week and next month to be completely different than last week and last month. We gotta open up that possibility for you. We have to collect some evidence for how that is true and how it's actually inevitable when you believe it and when you set yourself up for that type of success. So that is exactly what I got to work in creating in January of 2022 with the 3K plus in 30 days challenge.
19:12
Andrea Nordling
It is a mindset challenge. So every day in the challenge for 30 days straight, you get an exercise that is a mindset exercise that you will complete in 10 minutes or less that morning, along with whatever business activities you have scheduled for the day and for the week. What our clients in TPN find is that they make a lot money. A lot money, a lot more money, a lot f. Faster in less time. Very compressed timeline when they go through the challenge because it is going to show you the simplest path. It is going to have you stop wasting time and it's going to have you increasing your belief in yourself and your capacity to deliver to your clients, even in the super busy summer season or holiday season or whatever season of life you are in right now.
19:57
Andrea Nordling
But it's very strategic, by the way, that we offer this in June, which we are doing in June. Did I mention June 1st on a Monday? Hello. Very strategic that we do the Challenge at the beginning of the summer. Because it is so easy to get caught up in all of the other responsibilities for the summer and everything else that you have going on and for your brain to tell you a very compelling story that you don't have enough time to get it all done in the summer and that you shouldn't take more clients or you shouldn't be marketing, or you shouldn't be doing sales calls, or you shouldn't be doing whatever it is that you probably should be doing because the timing isn't great or because you're going to be spread too thin or you're not going to be able to.
20:37
Andrea Nordling
You're going to get. You're going to start drowning, whatever that looks like for you, okay? A lot of that comes up and we address it in the Challenge. So if you have any of those thoughts right now going into summer about your capacity to deliver for your clients, or if you're not believing in your clients and their capacity to get results and to allocate time towards getting those results or their ability to allocate money to get those results, we gotta clean it up, which we do. In the Challenge. So again, the 3k in 30 days challenge is something really unique and very useful that we do inside the profitable nutritionist program. We are running it live in June 2026. So if you are listening to this in real time, you got to get in the TPN program and be ready.
21:25
Andrea Nordling
Because Monday morning, June 1, you will get your first prompt for the Challenge and we will be off to the races. The reason that we do the Challenge live a few times a year is because the momentum that is created in the group when everybody is working towards a common goal and are sharing tips and tricks with each other in real time, it is just exponentially more valuable. I don't know how else to say it. I sit back again. I do the Challenge myself every year, but I also sit back and I watch what is created in our community when everybody is just getting to work and they're making it a lot simpler and more doable than what it has been before. Especially new people in the program.
22:07
Andrea Nordling
We have new people that join and they take the 90 day roadmap that we create for them. I will get to that in a second. And they pair it with the Challenge. They go so much faster, but they're doing it in less time. And we consistently see this in the testimonials that are coming in how many less hours people are working per week, but how much more enjoyment they have in their business and how much more money they're making. So that's the name of the game. As a business owner, we want to be more efficient. You don't want to be a slave to your business. You certainly do not want to be a slave to social media and we want to help you to do that.
22:37
Andrea Nordling
So lastly, I'll talk a little bit about the 90 day roadmap and why I want you to get into the TPN program now instead of waiting until late the 31st of May. If you're listening to this in real time because I want to make sure that we have the time to create your 90 day custom roadmap. This is something new that we started doing in the program earlier this year. We piloted it with a few first a few new enrollments. It started going really well. So we started doing it with all new enrollments that come into the program.
23:09
Andrea Nordling
And what we do with the 90 day roadmap is we do a pretty in depth intake with you as soon as you join the program on your revenue goals and your average amount of capacity for how much time you have to work on your business on a given week over the next 90 days. And again, this is a 90 day roadmap. So it's for your first three months in the program. You are also going to answer quite a few questions so that I can get a real understanding on your strengths and what is low hanging fruit for you. Meaning we are going to help you create a very doable marketing and sales plan for how to sign on the number of clients that you want to sign on.
23:48
Andrea Nordling
Most of our clients are coming with the expectation that they want to be signing three to five premium clients per month. But you are going to give me your goal and your number, your revenue number, the amount of time that you have to allocate towards your business and what you enjoy doing. We are then going to get to work as a team. Now I can say we because it's very much a we over here creating roadmaps for our students. We get to work as a team creating a custom 90 day plan for you that is going to bring you through the easiest, simplest way for you to get to your revenue goal and your marketing and sales plan to do so.
24:21
Andrea Nordling
So we tell you every single week exactly what to do that week so you can just check it off every Monday morning in your roadmap. You have exactly what to do for the week and when you're done, you are done. But it takes into account your personality, what you enjoy and what you don't enjoy, frankly. So we're going to ask you questions on are you an introvert? Are you an extrovert? Do you have a big in person network of people that you have to sell to right now? Do you prefer to market online in person? Like what do you enjoy and what do you loathe? Even more important question because this truly is customized and personalized to you. Your marketing and sales plan for your business as well as your client delivery has to play to your strengths.
25:04
Andrea Nordling
You have to actually want to do it or you won't. Your brain will give you all of the great reasons why you shouldn't and why you should wait and why other things would be a better use of your time and unless you enjoy it. So we make you a really doable plan. It is hyper personalized. So when people ask me, you know, what type of marketing am I going to do if I'm not on social media, what else am I doing? Like, well that's a really complicated answer. We have to do a little bit more digging first to figure that out and to create that together because I would Never tell someone who is super introverted that they should go do networking events in person, for example. That person would hate that strategy. They would absolutely loathe it. They would dread it.
25:45
Andrea Nordling
They wouldn't want to do it, vice versa. The other side of that coin, I would never tell somebody who hates technology, who just gets so frustrated trying to build anything online, that they should make an online funnel and that they should start running ads or that they should work on their website for that person. They might love going to networking events. And we could very quickly fill up their client roster with some referrals from another practitioner or something of the like. So we have very varying strategies and methods to getting you to your goal. It is, I have no doubt, much simpler than you're probably making it right now. And I can say that after bringing nearly a thousand people through this process at this point. So I'm going to land the plane by giving you a little bit of homework.
26:31
Andrea Nordling
Okay, here's your homework. Explore what is possible that pushes you. What could be possible that right now feels impossible to you. How quickly could your clients get results that right now feels unrealistic? How could they blow your mind? And how could you stack the deck in their favor to make that inevitable for them? How could you blow your own mind in your business with how quickly you could get results? We have people come into the TPM program all the time that have been trying to grow their business for years and have not had the success they want to have. And they can deploy just a few of the strategies that we teach and have results so quickly. Why is that possible? Because our past does not dictate our future. It doesn't. We can learn from it, but we can change things tomorrow. Scratch that.
27:20

We can change things today. And I want you to think critically about how you could do that, how you could push yourself to believe and truly, to the tips of your toes, believe that everything can be different tomorrow, everything can be different next week for your family, for your future clients, for your current clients. Push yourself on your belief. I know that's what I take away every time I think of Natalie with such fondness. And we have worked together for years now. She actually has very successful business and has been able to help so many people, which I am glad to have been even a tiny part of that journey for her. But every time I think of her, I flash back to the Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot and the just the moment where I realized, holy cow, people can blow my mind.

And I want them to and I want them to do it all the time. And I always want to have this feeling where their results are better than I could have even thought and it's faster than I could have even thought. And maybe that means I just need to increase what I think, which is the takeaway here. If any of this is landing for you and you're not already in the TBN program, we would love to help you do just that. And a great way to get started would be the 3k plus in 30 days challenge. Again, your goal doesn't have to be just $3,000 in June, but the sky's the limit. Push. Push yourself. I want you to have the goal of at least $3,000 in June and I would love to help you get there.
