B&D step, step back into the gazebo and the world of Gilmore girls (sans theme song)! This is only the third watch of A Year in the Life for both of them. Paris’ hair is great, Lane’s is not, and Paul is treated poorly. B&D are amused by Luke’s updated sign, horrified by César’s geri curls, and relieved Michel is finally out and proud. The nostalgic guest stars and callbacks, as well as the seamless characterization continuation and “reacting acting,” are worthy of praise - just don’t call it “giving 🌼 🌺 “!
