The Donkey, the King, and the Question That Changes Everything

Matthew 21:1-11. This week, as we step into Holy Week, we’re walking the dusty road into Jerusalem alongside Jesus… and a donkey. Jesus’ triumphal entry isn’t marked by warhorses or royal fanfare—it’s marked by humility, intention, and the borrowed back of a simple beast of burden. But why a donkey? And what does that tell us about Jesus—and about us? In this message you’ll see how the humility of Christ, the provision of God, and the sovereignty of His plan are revealed in one simple story.

And more importantly, we’ll ask the question the city of Jerusalem couldn’t stop asking that day: “Who is this?” Prophet? Teacher? Savior? King? Who is Jesus—to you? Because once He enters your life as King… everything changes.
