Ep. #161: The Good Shepherd vs. the False Shepherds, John 10:1-9

In today’s study, we examine the difference between the Good Shepherd of John 10 against the false shepherds of Eze. 34. Jesus claims to be the Good Shepherd, the Door, and the only Way for the sheep to make it in. He teaches against the false shepherds, strangers, thieves, and robbers, while describing all of them. Jesus uses a lot of shepherding imagery, along with several bold claims to His identity. We have a very lively discussion about many elements found within the text. In our Q&A segment, we were asked a livewire of a question: I heard someone preach recently that it is the same as stealing to cheat on your income taxes, but I feel that these are 2 very different things… what do you say?
