The story for this episode is, “The Malignant Entity pt.1,” by Otis Adelbert Kline. In our story, a scientist has tried to create life from lifeless protoplasm. At least he thinks it is lifeless. As it turns out, the protoplasm has a mind of its own, and it isn’t terribly friendly. We'll also look at simple cell life to see if a creature like this could exist. Part 2 will continue on the next episode.
