Forbidden Closet (ep. 237 not 236)

In our story, “Forbidden Cupboard,” by Francis Garfield, a young woman instructed not to open a certain closet in her new apartment. She does, of course, and unleashes something rather unsavory. The word closet has many meanings, but most describe a closed or secret space. I could not find any stories of actual haunted closets, but in searching I came across this little gem:

Mary King’s Close in Edinburgh, Scotland, is often cited as one of the most haunted places on Earth — and it’s a closet in the truest sense. We'll take a look.
