7 has always been a lucky number, but it wasn't until finding my spirituality that I realized how special it truly was. 7 chakras, 7 sacraments, 7 ancient principles, the sum of the spiritual (3) and the material (4) is the number of perfection, 7. 7 distinct notes on the musical scale, 7 days of the week, Shakespeares 7 ages of man. Define functional...

This is the most vulnerable one yet because it hits 'home' for me in all the ways.

My time spent as a functional alcoholic. What that meant, felt like and looked like to me, and where it started to cross that very thin line into complete unmanageability.

'It's a slippery slope' doesn't come close... come along with me as I careen down cliffs of poor decisions wine glass in tow on the way to my bottom(s). Because from the bottom, wherever that may be, you can finally start to build back up.

I tell some good stories in this one about peeing in Mexico and becoming clairaudient for 48 hours in an ER... but it is emotional, and I have to give sensitivity warnings for miscarriage, hopelessness, and hospital/health stuff. A special mention to @jessareedcomedy for beautifully sharing her heartbreaking miscarriage with us and giving me the strength and courage to share mine. Hugs to her and all the women out there who know this pain.
