This week on Preventing Decline, we have special guest, Norm Dawson! As we discuss how to prevent decline when it comes to your cognitive health! 

Dr. Norm Dawson is a professional speaker on the subject of dementia prevention. Hearing loss is one of the biggest modifiable risk factors for dementia. Dr. Dawson talks about how to identify and reduce the risks of dementia. He has been hearing impaired most of his life yet was able to challenge the barriers of that disability. After a long decline in his hearing from age 5 to age 27, he attended public schools. At age 27 he learned sign language and completed three college degrees, including his doctor of Chiropractic degree. 

He has been a lifelong student of personal growth and development including Landmark Forum and Dale Carnegie to name a few. Toastmasters International is where he learned many of his speaking, leading and organizational skills. He has been involved in many civic endeavors and has been called out as a leader.
