The Way is a podcast fully committed to the solid, straight forward, uncompromising, Spirit filled teaching of God’s Word. We know that we are living in a dark and evil time. According to the scriptures, we are living in the last days before the return of Jesus. Therefore, to live a victorious life in Christ regardless of the rising evil all around us, we must know God’s word thoroughly and obey it completely regardless of cost of consequence. Our desire through this podcast is that God would give every listener an ear to hear, a heart to receive and a will to obey. May all the teaching of God’s Word through this podcast be solid and Spirit filled. May all who listen be strengthened and built up in the body of Christ. This chapter is dedicated to Isaac. In it God will test Isaac's faith by sending a famine. True faith is a tested faith. Isaac's faith had to be tested. So, to will our faith be tested.
Isaac initially failed in the area of fear. Rather that fear God, he chose to fear man. The result of his fearing man could have catastrophic, however, God in His sovereignty kept His hand upon Isaac.
Ultimately, Isaac learned to fear God. In the process he also learned what it means to truly worship God.
