The Way is a podcast fully committed to the solid, straight forward, uncompromising, Spirit filled teaching of God’s Word. We know that we are living in a dark and evil time. According to the scriptures, we are living in the last days before the return of Jesus. Therefore, to live a victorious life in Christ regardless of the rising evil all around us, we must know God’s word thoroughly and obey it completely regardless of cost of consequence. Our desire through this podcast is that God would give every listener an ear to hear, a heart to receive and a will to obey. May all the teaching of God’s Word through this podcast be solid and Spirit filled. May all who listen be strengthened and built up in the body of Christ. May we all live fully to the glory of God until Jesus calls us home. Maranatha

Isaac is determined to give the blessing to Esau. This goes against the will of God. Rebekah is determined to ensure Jacob receives the blessing according to the will of God. She, along with the full cooperation of Jacob, will use deception to accomplish this. This is not the way to accomplish God's will. All parties involved will learn firsthand that God is sovereign.

There are many lessons we can learn from this passage. One lesson is the faithfulness of God. Jacob is about to enter a time of being prepared to be the man that God has called him to be. God in his sovereignty is sending Jacob to his uncle Laban's in order that Jacob will one day become Israel.

Always remember that God is faithful to work in us in order that he might work through us. God is faithful to work in us in order that we would become all that He has called us to be for His glory.
