The Way is a podcast fully committed to the solid, straight forward, uncompromising, Spirit filled teaching of God’s Word. We know that we are living in a dark and evil time. According to the scriptures, we are living in the last days before the return of Jesus. Therefore, to live a victorious life in Christ regardless of the rising evil all around us, we must know God’s word thoroughly and obey it completely regardless of cost of consequence. Our desire through this podcast is that God would give every listener an ear to hear, a heart to receive and a will to obey. May all the teaching of God’s Word through this podcast be solid and Spirit filled. May all who listen be strengthened and built up in the body of Christ. May we all live fully to the glory of God until Jesus calls us home. Maranatha

We now head into the last section of Colossians. Paul's desire is that we would all be mature in Christ. He has spent the last section laying out for us the commands necessary to be mature in Christ.

Our maturity in Christ should be reflected in our relationships. Paul gives a series of simple and singular commands beginning with the husband and wife, then the parent and child. And lastly, we will look at the master and slave, or better put in our day, the employer and employee.

Obedience to the commands concerning these relationships is a direct reflection of the depth of our relationship with Christ. It is a key component of our being a living epistle.

May our maturity in Christ be reflected in all our relationships to the glory of God.
