Bounty Lands - "Bounty land refers to a grant of free land awarded by the government to individuals as a reward for their service to the country, typically for military service. This land is provided through a certificate known as a Bounty Land Warrant. This warrant confirms a veteran's eligibility to apply for ownership of a specific amount of public land. To obtain this land, veterans must submit an application for the bounty-land warrant.
