One of the many benefits of being a real estate investor is not just financial freedom, but the freedom to travel and live your life without the restrictions of a W2 job. But there are a few things to consider before you book a vacation overseas and let your business stand on its own.

Business owners don’t truly get time off — they can’t just put in for two weeks' vacation and leave their work in the office. It’s not always easy, but Mike has been away for a month at a time and was able to enjoy his trip while also being available to Dan and their employees.

In this episode, Mike dives deeper into the systems he and Dan have in place when he’s away for longer periods of time. From setting up systems to making sure someone is making necessary decisions while you’re away, you’ll find out what steps to take that will allow you to travel and not worry about your business (as much).
