So the next logical step was to"},{"startTime":429.128,"endTime":430.806,"body":"get into the music business. Well, the"},{"startTime":430.828,"endTime":432.386,"body":"logical step after you get an English"},{"startTime":432.418,"endTime":433.974,"body":"degree is what I did, which was go work"},{"startTime":434.012,"endTime":436.166,"body":"for chapters for minimum wage for there"},{"startTime":436.188,"endTime":439.974,"body":"you go. I mean, there's books there most"},{"startTime":440.012,"endTime":442.358,"body":"people just want to buy, like, the South"},{"startTime":442.374,"endTime":444.058,"body":"Beach Diet was popular at the time. That"},{"startTime":444.064,"endTime":445.386,"body":"was the main book we were buying. It"},{"startTime":445.408,"endTime":447.546,"body":"seemed it wasn't deep literature, but"},{"startTime":447.728,"endTime":451.422,"body":"nevertheless but,"},{"startTime":451.556,"endTime":455.694,"body":"yeah, no, I basically got"},{"startTime":455.732,"endTime":459.15,"body":"a job and started gigging locally and"},{"startTime":459.22,"endTime":461.246,"body":"eventually put together a band and made"},{"startTime":461.268,"endTime":462.926,"body":"the first record. Very creative. I think he's 82, maybe,"},{"startTime":606.964,"endTime":609.806,"body":"something like that. It's pretty wild. I"},{"startTime":609.828,"endTime":611.502,"body":"saw him in concert a number of years ago,"},{"startTime":611.556,"endTime":613.422,"body":"the same weekend I saw Leonard Cohen play"},{"startTime":613.476,"endTime":615.106,"body":"similar kind of thing. Like, it was a big"},{"startTime":615.128,"endTime":616.798,"body":"weekend in Newfoundland. We usually don't"},{"startTime":616.814,"endTime":618.818,"body":"have big weekend, two legends here the"},{"startTime":618.824,"endTime":621.7,"body":"same weekend. So it was a"},{"startTime":2869.384,"endTime":2871.65,"body":"really interesting and interactive thing."},{"startTime":2871.72,"endTime":2873.986,"body":"I will say there were some problems that"},{"startTime":2874.088,"endTime":2876.226,"body":"led to a kind of a funny story, which was"},{"startTime":2876.248,"endTime":2878.89,"body":"that we arrived there and the Corner broke"},{"startTime":2878.91,"endTime":2880.658,"body":"public library. Like it's a fringe"},{"startTime":2880.674,"endTime":2883.026,"body":"festival, cbnui beautiful festival that's"},{"startTime":2883.058,"endTime":2884.834,"body":"like a nighttime walking festival,"},{"startTime":2884.882,"endTime":2887.858,"body":"basically in September in Cornerbrook."},{"startTime":2887.954,"endTime":2890.566,"body":"And so the day they went in to set up,"},{"startTime":2890.588,"endTime":2892.026,"body":"we're like, well, we have all day. This is"},{"startTime":2892.048,"endTime":2894.506,"body":"great. And so we're getting set up. And"},{"startTime":2894.608,"endTime":2896.406,"body":"again, there was a team that the festival"},{"startTime":2896.438,"endTime":2898.746,"body":"had to set up. And we had done all the"},{"startTime":2898.848,"endTime":2902.278,"body":"tech checks before and we had all"},{"startTime":2902.304,"endTime":2904.606,"body":"these projectors rented and we set them"},{"startTime":2904.628,"endTime":2907.326,"body":"all up and everything was working. It was"},{"startTime":2907.348,"endTime":2910.094,"body":"looking good. It's September, so still"},{"startTime":2910.132,"endTime":2912.122,"body":"early in the fall. It doesn't get dark"},{"startTime":2912.186,"endTime":2915.342,"body":"till maybe like 637 o'clock."},{"startTime":2915.486,"endTime":2917.474,"body":"And the festival starts, I think, at nine"},{"startTime":2917.512,"endTime":2921.294,"body":"or ten. And then as it gets dark,"},{"startTime":2921.422,"endTime":2923.586,"body":"all of the lights come on inside the"},{"startTime":2923.608,"endTime":2927.134,"body":"library. And it turns out that the library"},{"startTime":2927.262,"endTime":2930.886,"body":"was on sensors for like the"},{"startTime":2930.908,"endTime":2932.774,"body":"library is never open in the evenings, so"},{"startTime":2932.812,"endTime":2935.266,"body":"the people were not prepared. Like staff"},{"startTime":2935.298,"endTime":2937.846,"body":"had even gone home. And then we called a"},{"startTime":2937.868,"endTime":2940.006,"body":"staff member in and they're like, and this"},{"startTime":2940.028,"endTime":2943.338,"body":"is classic, I'm sure there's a lot of"},{"startTime":2943.344,"endTime":2945.194,"body":"cities like this. The library in this case"},{"startTime":2945.232,"endTime":2947.786,"body":"was like attached to the city hall, and it"},{"startTime":2947.808,"endTime":2949.994,"body":"was all on a grid controlled from city"},{"startTime":2950.032,"endTime":2952.246,"body":"hall. Like the library actually didn't"},{"startTime":2952.278,"endTime":2955.166,"body":"have the ability to affect the lighting at"},{"startTime":2955.188,"endTime":2957.278,"body":"all. So we're standing in a fully lit up"},{"startTime":2957.364,"endTime":2960.094,"body":"library about an hour before people are"},{"startTime":2960.132,"endTime":2961.866,"body":"supposed to come in. And it's projector"},{"startTime":2961.898,"endTime":2963.966,"body":"based, so you can't see anything because"},{"startTime":2963.988,"endTime":2965.986,"body":"the lights are on. And we're like, what"},{"startTime":2966.008,"endTime":2969.282,"body":"are we going to do?
