HAPPY SUMMER from the (far western) mountains of Maryland!
We're continuing with our four new seasonal episodes for the year and now it's time for summer!
For many, summer in Deep Creek + Garrett County, MD presents some of the most perfect weather - not too hot, not too cold. But it's also a hustling, bustling time - many more visitors around, everything is open and the weather makes it pretty easy to get outside and enjoy everything our mountains + lake have to offer.
So of course it was easy for us to talk about the outdoor activities we enjoy most during this season, eating ice cream and exploring with friends included. It's a very relaxing conversation that's paired with a giant spring of fun from our friend Duane Stein. We interviewed Duane to learn more about his community involvement in one of our small towns and why he started "The Grantsville Guy."
