Speaker 1:

In today's podcast episode, I'm going to be showing the behind the scenes of how I took one of my clients from $3,000 months to $10,000 months and, although she had over tripled her income, her hours did not change at all, which was perfect because she was a homeschooling single mom who was also traveling. So stay tuned. I cannot wait to give you an inside scoop on exactly how we made this happen for her in less than six weeks. Welcome back. My name is Adrienne and I am the CEO and founder of ambitious and caffeinated. I help moms start and grow a widely profitable online business while putting motherhood first. Ambitious and caffeinated helps our clients go from struggling solo printers to thriving empires. I started my entrepreneur journey as a team mom who just wanted to be home with my babies and custom create my career. I knew that the nine to five lifestyle was never meant for me. The business model I designed and created allows me to get paid daily, stabilize my income while working part-time hours as a stay-at-home mom. Now I help other moms turn into online CEOs, get paid daily and own their power in motherhood. Not only do I cover all the things marketing and business, we get deep here and we don't shy away from the vulnerable chats. You can find me on Instagram at ambitious and caffeinated, or head over to our site at ambitiousandcaffeinatedcom and you can check out the free resource vault and all of the courses and programs I have available. I'm so grateful that you're here.

Speaker 1:

Let's dive into the episode. Oh, my goodness. Okay, this is going to be one of my most favorite podcasts I've probably ever created, just because this woman, this client we've been working together on and off for over two years now, which is just insane. I have a lot of respect for her. I love the way that she parents, the way she shows up in business, the way she serves her clients. She truly is just so phenomenal. But one of the biggest reasons why I'm so excited to share this is I started my business to support impacting other individuals' lives, and this included their business.

Speaker 1:

I actually just caught off an interview with a magazine and one of the things that I kept talking about was the fact that in my business, I've always wanted to prioritize impact over income, and I really believe that when you do that, income always follows, and she is such a prime candidate for this. But also I wanted to show how you can triple your income without adjusting your hours. She already had a beautiful part-time working system. It is so funny because I've actually hired her to do different things in my business and just seeing the way that she operates is very true to how I advocate for my clients to work. So it's really beautiful being able to see it from not only the coach perspective, but now I'm her client because she does work in my business and I just find that to be really beautiful, to see it from all different angles and just being like wow, I get speechless because it's a beautiful opportunity to be able to see that come to life. So let's dive into it because I know You're probably okay.

Speaker 1:

Tell me how she did it. The biggest thing I also want to note here she was ready, she was willing and she was able. Any type of advice I gave her, any critique, any Suggestions, any to-do lists or action tasks, she did it. She did not wait around. She she had a lot of motivation and I just want to know if you've ever came into my mastermind or into my one-to-one coaching. What I found found to be a really beautiful thing, just to know, is I never expect people to Cross their boundaries, their work life boundaries. I always fit in these tasks, tasks with their work schedule. So just to know, it's not like I gave her 300 hours of work, we just did some very strategic shifts and it's okay. Like you need to batch this content, you need to do this, I'm challenging you to do that and it fit within her work schedule. So just to know, because I've actually listened to other case studies from other individuals and I'm like mm. Okay, but that does, that does not sound sustainable. And what's really interesting is this case study happened well over a year ago Not quite two years ago, but definitely over a year ago when she's still able to have these results Long-lasting, long term. So I know it's sustainable.

Speaker 1:

So, number one she was a started as a general virtual assistant. She just really appreciated the flexibility it had to offer her. I found the biggest issue for I don't want to say issue is a bad thing, but the biggest thing for her she was just scared to take that leap because she's like, well, I have all of this income, but I definitely am ready for more. But if I make these shifts in these tweaks, like what if I lose my income? Right, like that's a very big fear for a lot of people like, okay, I'm happy with what I have, I want more, but if I change, it is all gonna come crumbling down.

Speaker 1:

And so what we actually did is we really took a look at what her expertise was and for her this worked out to be a lot of OBM services. This was like CRM management, dubb Sada, asana, anything with Trello I think she even does Honey Book, like she does a lot of systems and behind the scenes that a lot of people Just do not have the time to do. I mean, they could figure it out, but a lot of the women she was working with were pretty high level entrepreneurs and coaches who just seriously didn't have the time and just wanted someone else to do it. This is important to note because we already identified that her audience and her ideal clients were already people making a lot of money and could afford to hand this off and positioning it in a way that really did support them further. So what we did is, like I said, we transitioned to her into an OBM role, and this is important because the larger transformation we typically associate with a larger investment. So this allowed her to solve a larger, heavier problem, equaling that larger transformation. So right off the hob. We were able to create an expertise and if you are someone who's just trying to do all of the things, people aren't going to want to pay you premium price to do all of the things. Premium pricing is getting a premium transformation and that usually comes down to really honing in on what you are doing. So we were able to double and, in some cases, triple her prices because we found that specific focus and we're able to create very specific deliverables and create more specific messaging around that.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to be sharing in the third tip how we did her lead generation, because it wasn't with LinkedIn, it wasn't with a Facebook page and it wasn't with Instagram. It was, but it was very authentic, as you can tell from, I think, the sub. I should probably know this, but the subtitle of my podcast is authentic marketing and business strategies, so super funny. So we were able to double, if not triple, some of her packages because we were so specific. So if you're someone who's really struggling, I want you to take that next step. So a great example if you're a mom coach, the way that you stand out compared to your competitors and get more specific is maybe you specifically do nervous system regulation. Maybe you specifically do routines and home organization. If you are someone in the business realm, you know great example for myself, like when I started marketing myself as someone who was a passive course queen and income stabilizer that sent me out compared to competitors in the industry. So really look at how can you set yourself apart from others in the industry or have an expertise. So maybe, if you're already like a general virtual assistant or social media manager, what can you do to really up level your services?

Speaker 1:

This goes for coaches as well, and I don't mean just I say that in quotations as a negative or derogatory way but if you are just a life coach, okay, like how can we hone in on your expertise? Maybe you're a life coach for mothers, a life coach for what? Like how can we get a little bit more specific instead of just life coach? A business coach for moms, a life coach for young mothers, a life coach for grandmas, a life coach for aunties? I'm just putting in descriptive words at this point, but this allows you the opportunity to get more specific so that you can get more visibility and start talking to a more specific individual. So, anywho, we got more specific and this right off the hop allowed her to increase her expertise in her field and start charging the premium prices that she wanted, because she already had so many testimonials of people happy with her current transformations.

Speaker 1:

The second thing is she was selling a month to month package and if you come into my stabilizer mastermind or my one to one coaching, you'll even hear me talk about this in my course. Become a passive course queen. I highly recommend having payment plans over like at least three months so that you can stabilize your income. I mean, even if you did a six week payment plan for whatever it is, that is better than nothing because you're able to project your income for at least several more weeks. So in this case we immediately got her. I immediately got her to create three month retainers at her new pricing and if you've ever came into anything of mine, I always do a painful bonus. So for myself, like I've often done, like if you pay in full, it's X% off, just as like a beautiful incentive, sometimes add like a bonus one on one call. I mean for my mastermind, if you pay in full, I you get two bonus one on one calls, and so for her the bonus for paying in full, because sometimes having that capital upfront allows you to make better investments or, just you know, be able to have the entirety of the container upfront.

Speaker 1:

But, as I was saying, we did a three month retainer with a painful bonus and in about six weeks her income over tripled and we were able to stabilize that. The reason this is so important is because over the course of six weeks I believe she signed four to five new clients and in that timeframe she was able to go from. If she had signed that many clients previously it would have been $3,000 months. But because we had transitioned the way that her pricing was, the way that she structured it and having a long term like a longer term. So three month container I mean long term that's like different for everyone, but in her case, going from month to month to three months, that was a big jump for her. Now I'm pretty sure she does like six months retainers and people. She doesn't even question if people are resigning, they just do so. She has a beautiful retention rate as well.

Speaker 1:

But, as I was saying, we had just transitioned that and that alone allowed her to stabilize her income for months and allowed her nervous system to just feel so at peace. She was a single mom, she was homeschooling and she was traveling, and so for her being able to have that reliable income, she was able to enjoy herself more, be an even more present mom, take on new opportunities, and it just makes me so happy for her. So, recap number one we found her expertise. Number two, we stopped selling a month to month package and created like a container. And the third thing is, we found a unique way to do lead generation for her. So for her, she like she has such a beautiful voice and like literally the way if she were to create a podcast, everyone would listen to it. She's just so phenomenal. But her writing is also incredible and I know for a while we were doing Instagram, but she's like this is like, I enjoy it, it's great, but I don't love it.

Speaker 1:

So we actually transitioned to doing almost exclusively Facebook groups and finding all of her clients that way, and this was just phenomenal for her, because now that she was able to just exclusively stay into Facebook groups, she builds a huge network just on Facebook. No, facebook page literally touches her normal profile and signing clients that way, and she has an incredible retention rate, as is because she just serves them so beautifully. So this was just such a beautiful opportunity for her. She literally just had to be on one platform. She got all of her clients this way and it was just literally so simple. And it goes back to this idea that, literally, you can build your business any way that you desire. There is no right or wrong way to build a business.

Speaker 1:

She just took the time to make sure that the business she was creating was in alignment with the way that she wanted to show up and the way that she wanted to sign clients. She wanted to do it authentically and she didn't want it to be a time warp. She wanted it to be the most simple way possible. And I'm doing a two week boot camp the sold out on socials boot camp and in there I literally told them how simple launching can be. And we were going through our launch sequence and it was literally front facing activities, like you know, scheduling out your content and talking to people in the nems, and I was like that is the foundations of a launch. I don't care what anyone else tells you. I mean, having systems in place are a beautiful tool, but if you're barely being able to get content out there, I think that just needs to be the focus. So any who just reminded me of how we were talking about that in the boot camp Simplicity is best when you can master the simple task that actually get in front of your ideal clients.

Speaker 1:

That's when you can add for her it was literally a couple of Facebook groups and she was able to retain her income like crazy. I don't even think she needs to network in Facebook groups because I'm pretty sure she's booked out anyways, but just makes me so incredibly happy to know like simplicity can work. You can make multiple five figures every month. You can make a $10,000 a month consistently just from a Facebook group, and I just I really had to note that I don't have a lot to say on the lead generation, just because it's literally that simple. She went on Facebook groups, she found people who were looking for her services and she pitched them with integrity and authenticity.

Speaker 1:

What that looks like is I would totally recommend any client doing this. Go into a Facebook group. Any of them. There's like boss, moms, virtual assistant, savvy is. There is women helping women entrepreneurs, lit up and loaded entrepreneur. There's a couple of different ones and what I would totally recommend you doing is going to the search bar in any Facebook group and looking up keywords that your ideal clients are struggling with. So if you are someone who does virtual assistant work, you can literally type up virtual assistant, support, content, support, admin, support, organization like any terminology. This works for coaches. You can type in overwhelm, anxiety whatever synonyms or whatever adjectives that describe your ideal client. Go ahead and search that. You will see posts and posts and posts of people asking for help, asking for support and advice.

Speaker 1:

What I always recommend my clients do is comment on the post hey name and then acknowledge so like hey, amanda, I totally hear you that you are struggling with organization in your house. I totally get that. That can cause a lot of overwhelm. I'm actually a professional organizer and I have online courses that would really support you in this. I would love to send over my website and my podcast and my courses are all linked there if you'd like to check them out. Just know that you're not alone in this. Motherhood can be so crazy. Just give yourself a lot of grace. That comment right there that if you come from a place of authenticity and being genuine, you will get a lot of interaction on your comment. People want you to acknowledge and they want you to be a kind person and a note can be really exciting to see a post and be like oh my gosh, sign me, sign me. But if we take a step back and remember to acknowledge and to remember like this is coming from a place of serving, how can I serve them deeper, even if it's just through a comment? This is when the magic happens. Furthermore, I would recommend people like go and send them a voice memo. Unless they say on their post, please do not message, then obviously respect that, but send a voice memo, introduce yourself, give them a couple free tips, let them know where to find you and how you support people.

Speaker 1:

Oftentimes this turns into something. Might not always turn into a client, but it could turn into a loyal follower. It could turn into like your new podcast binger. It could turn into a new incredible loyal group member in your Facebook right. So there's usually always something that happens out of those. Even if it is just a connection, that's just as valuable, because you never know what that's gonna go.

Speaker 1:

Anywho, off my tangent, what else was really beautiful about this is because we've worked on and off for over two years. At that point she came to me and she's like you know what, like I've always wanted to try coaching, a mentorship, and I'm like girl, let's do it. So we launched our membership in an intimate mastermind and I think immediately she had between five and eight. This was a little this was over a year ago so I'm just kind of using my little brain to try and refresh but she had between five and eight people in her mastermind and it was a really beautiful experience for her to like get to know people, to teach and to just try a different angle of her business. She was already very reputable. She already had a beautiful way of serving people and so that was just a beautiful leg and she has a really cool membership. That she does. It's very intimate and I just love that about her and she also assigned some a couple one-to-one clients who were just so excited to learn from her and get that mentorship for her. So she was able to create definitely a handful of extra thousand dollars between her mastermind and her one-to-one coaching. Definitely, I think at this point, over five figures and just that little. I don't mean little in a derogatory term, it was just a side thing she wanted to try, but the fact she made five figures off of an quotations little side part of her business is incredible and phenomenal, and so being able to support her and that was just really beautiful.

Speaker 1:

And being able to do some nervous system work and some regulation. When it's like, oh my gosh, this is new, my body's like freaking out like I don't know how to do this. Like oh my goodness, really taking the time in our coaching be like, hey, take a deep breath, like do see me ft tapping and eft tapping is so fun. It's not like I'm just like do your eft tapping. I always send my clients like a very specific voice memo, like I want you to breathe with me and say this and like let's regulate ourselves and that's always been very helpful.

Speaker 1:

So, anyway, that's like the behind the scenes of how we went from 3k months, 10k months and then, on top of it, being able to stabilize it, and to me that means everything because, at the end of the day, like we definitely stopped working together for a period of time, which is like totally normal for actually a lot of my clients to have some time, whether it's there's family stuff going on. Some people are going on maternity leave. I work with a lot of newer moms, so it's not a normal in my line of work when they go on maternity leave or when, you know, a lot of my clients are also getting their masters or they have big of life moves, transitions and everything. So I have long-term clients, but doesn't mean we work with each other 24-7, but they always come back. And so she was one of those people where I was like I know she'll be back and not because her business was on fire, not because it wasn't sustainable, but ready for that next thing. And so when she came to me again, I was just beautiful to see her business was still sustainable, she was having a lot of fun and just basically those touch points and just seeing that sustainability is so important. And don't get me wrong, like there's some clients who hire me time and time again. They're like I will, I never don't want to work with you. Like I always want to have you in my corner, and so it's different. It's really interesting seeing different client perspectives of like how they use the investment. Some of them are like I want you 24-7 and some of them are like I will come and get tune-ups like two or three times a year in your packages super funny, super funny. Anyhow, I hope this was in depth. I hope it was helpful. If you took anything away from it, it was.

Speaker 1:

Number one dive into your area of expertise. Number two transition away from month to month. This includes, like, if you have a passive course, find a way to create a payment plan. Find a way to do a bundle that can, you know, increase a payment plan. Even if the payment plan is $100 a month. The more people that come in, the more stabilization your business has, and the longer the payment plan, the longer you can stack things and start really stabilizing your income without having to feel like you're hustling right. So just like there's a bunch of different ways we can do that.

Speaker 1:

I will talk about it in the mastermind.

Speaker 1:

If you're looking to stabilize your income and get this type of support, it's attainable.

Speaker 1:

It's not unreasonable to think that you could get these types of results and I know it's hard trying to wrap your head around oh my gosh, like making that much money, my business would be insane, but it is completely attainable. It really just takes a couple clients coming into your business and navigating the ropes of keeping your client retention rate strong and being able to serve people. It's like I said, it's not completely outrageous to think that could happen for you and I would be honored and blessed to be able to support you on that. So you totally understand the passive side of things. You might be listening to this past march, but we start the first round of the stabilizer mastermind march forth. This is actually the third time I've ran a mastermind and it's just super fun this very similar framework, so send me a message. I have the application form in the bio of this, the description of this, but go ahead and check it out. I'm so grateful for your time and I'm curious are you going to be my next client case study?
