Speaker 1:

In today's podcast episode, I'm going to be sharing the behind the scenes of how I was able to have over 300 course enrollments in six weeks with pretty minimal management. So I was not on my phone 24-7. I had different systems in place and I had a really good strategy, and I want to share the behind the scenes of this. Passive courses can be such an asset to your business and if you haven't started utilizing them yet, that was the perfect opportunity. So I'm going to be sharing the life-changing strategy of what literally has transformed my business with Passive courses. Let's just dive right into this. Welcome back.

Speaker 1:

My name is Adrienne and I am the CEO and founder of ambitious and caffeinated. I help moms start and grow a widely profitable online business while putting motherhood first. Ambitious and caffeinated helps our clients go from struggling solo printers to thriving empires. I started my entrepreneur journey as a team mom who just wanted to be home with my babies and custom create my career. I knew that the nine to five lifestyle was never meant for me. The business model I designed and created allows me to get paid daily, stabilize my income while working part-time hours as a stay-at-home mom. Now I help other moms turn into online CEOs get paid daily and own their power in motherhood. Not only do I cover all the things marketing and business, we get deep here and we don't shy away from the vulnerable chats. You can find me on Instagram at ambitious and caffeinated, or head over to our site at ambitiousandcaffeinatedcom and you can check out the free resource vault and all of the courses and programs I have available. I'm so grateful that you're here.

Speaker 1:

Let's dive into the episode. Oh, my goodness. Okay, I am so excited. I have been waiting to make a podcast episode like this and I'm just so excited that this gets to be the one. So I made over 300 course enrollments in about six weeks and it was just so humbling. In a really positive way, I have been selling courses, actually made these courses in 2021, 2022 and 2023. It's so crazy that in 2024 I am selling those materials and it really just goes to show the longevity of a business and how courses can forever be an asset. So could I not take in that leap of faith and created the courses when I did? I would have lost out on hundreds of enrollments in these courses, especially in the last six weeks. So that's just really important to know.

Speaker 1:

But I really want you to take a moment. I want you to imagine what your business would be like if you had 200 enrollments in a signature course in one month, if you had 500 enrollments in one month alone. Like what would that do for your business? To me it's life-changing. I'm a little bit dramatic. I'd prefer to be like that. It adds more of a pizzazz to your life. Okay, so here's here. I'm just gonna dive right in.

Speaker 1:

Number one use a passive marketing strategy. So to me, this looks like having a high quality blog or podcast with a Pinterest strategy that reels in the leads for you. I was able to just run ads to a couple of really incredible pins that took them right to a blog that had monetized my blog with all of my courses. So that was really beautiful, and it looks like also leveraging other people's platforms with an aligned and authentic collaboration. I'm gonna talk about the collaboration a little bit more at the end, but I just want to put a pin in that.

Speaker 1:

Another thing that you could do is do a high quality video strategy, whether this is on TikTok or if this is on Instagram. There's a million and one ways that you can grow an online business, and so what worked really well for me doing the hands-off experience is I had really high quality blogs go up. I ran ads to it so that it was seen by the right type of people. I got to pick who gets to see it in the first place and I got to really just enjoy my time. I had so much fun seeing the amount of people come over to my website and watch some of the conversions, and that was a really interesting Experience. And so the passive marketing strategy was phenomenal. One thing I would totally recommend you do as well as if you're gonna be doing a video strategy like on tiktok or on Instagram, repurpose over onto Pinterest, because, oh my goodness, does this ever the videos perform so well on Pinterest? I remember there was this one pregnancy video that I did. It was getting me over a million views per year and I literally was doing nothing. So just just a side note repurpose your videos over onto Pinterest.

Speaker 1:

Second thing lead with value, integrity and authenticity. Always, if you try to sell without serving, it's never going to convert like that's just the reality. I'm so sorry, but it's just the reality. Long-term success comes from when you are truly leading with serving. So what this looks like for me is I had all of my my blogs in my podcast. Truly, I Make sure that they are rooted in intention, with value. Of course I talk about some of my courses here on that. Of course I talk about some of my programs here and there, like that is the point of running a business and these are the results I get myself and my clients. I'm always my best example and so, of course, like you're going to hear me talk about them here and there, but always leading with value and integrity.

Speaker 1:

I think this is the most important thing that people just totally forget. There is a person on the other side of the screen reading your content, indulging in it, getting to know you, and so it's a beautiful opportunity for us to leave a beautiful imprint on someone, and I think this really does come from a place of giving back without necessarily Demanding to receive anything, if that makes sense. Like you're not giving people free content. Be like now you only can you have to buy this, like that is so not a vibe, right. So I lead with intention and value and I trust that, because I'm impacting people, income will just naturally follow, because I have a strategy in place and there's no pressure on my audience. Like if you listen to all my podcasts and you never buy from me, that's okay, like that's totally fine. I just I'm so glad that you enjoy my podcast and keep listening to it. That's literally it.

Speaker 1:

If you feel so called to work with me one to one, working my mastermind, jump into a passive course, you know, get to know my modalities, I'm forever grateful for that, but that wasn't a requirement for me putting out this content, and I know a lot of people in the sales and marketing realm do not talk about this and this is why I feels like a black sheep in this only space, like I am the odd one out, because I feel like Maybe this is just me and don't step on toes, but I feel like no one really looks at it like that anymore. No one looks at creating content as a way to inspire people and to support people and to love on people. Instead, they're like oh, this is your, this is how exactly you're just gonna convert everyone. And if it's, every single post isn't converting 24, seven, because you're not, you're not forcing it down their throat far enough and I just I do not agree with that. Lead with value, make an impact on someone and I promise you you will see your business grow.

Speaker 1:

The next thing this is more practical, but optimize your sales page. It's literally as simple as adding one to two sentences explaining the transformation your course does, listing the titles of the modules and then adding some testimonials. You will see such a transition in your business by being able to showcase, like hey, just a side note, this is what you're going to get. These are the modules that come with it. These are some of the experiences of people who've walked through the course. There are all of these things that you can be implementing now. That's going to make your business 800 times easier. When it comes to conversion, I always look at it how can you give someone all of the information in a sales page so they don't need to message you with every single question, every single concern, every single whatever you want to call it right, like? I think that's just really, really important to note. Optimizing your sales page is going to make your life 8 million times easier.

Speaker 1:

So, anyhow, the last part that I just really wanted to add was the collaboration so I talk about this in building your business with low ticket the previous podcast episode but collaborations with aligned individuals has so much untapped potential. So for myself, I was able to partner actually she's with a client, and I was like, hey, like I don't know if you're open to this, but this could be really fun. She was doing a social media growth challenge and I was like, hey, I've grown this many TikToks. It's really fun, it's really effortless, like I grow them and sell them, like they're really fun. And she was like, hey, this is actually something I'd be interested in doing.

Speaker 1:

So every single person who enrolled into this her membership that she actually has, or it was either you buy the membership or you can pay a one time fee to join us in this challenge they ended up all getting access to my courses, and then I get a percentage of sales versus just what my course would have been, and I'm also providing a couple zoom calls, so a couple Q&A calls throughout the challenge. And this is just really really important to note, though, because I didn't come from a place of, oh, can you just sell my courses and I'll get a percentage of the sales. I was like, hey, what if I gave all of your clients, all of your enrollment, access to my courses? And then I also was able to provide Q&As and I was in the Facebook group at answering any questions that there may be, and it just added a completely new level of support value and I think she could tell like I was really in a place where I wanted to serve her audience as well and I was able to, furthermore, serve them in a way that she just wasn't able to. Not because she's not capable. She is an incredible business owner, she has a phenomenal, she has multiple booming businesses, but it was a way that I could take some stress off of her plate, serve her audience really deeply and help them get the result that they're looking for.

Speaker 1:

So, when you're looking at collaborating and partnering up with people whether it is I don't want to say performing in people's masterminds, but like or in group programs, but really taking the time to come in and showcase your expertise, like look at how it can be a mutually beneficial experience. So, for example, maybe instead, maybe your course is $50. Maybe you could let her know like hey, I was thinking like, typically my course sells for $50, but I see you have a group program. There's a hundred people in it instead of you know everyone getting this is just totally an example Instead of everyone having to pay $50, could I get $10 per person who enrolls or whatever? That may be like a flat fee of $1,000. And I will. Also they'll get access to my entire course. They'll I'll get provide weekly or bi-weekly calls and I'll make sure I'm active in this group to make sure that there's any questions that come up I can answer them One way that you can create like this container where it's a little bit more serving. Obviously we're not talking about you taking over a group program and taking on that responsibility, but maybe, like I will check on Tuesdays and Thursdays if there's any questions and I'll provide two group, two group calls through this month and access to my course for your entire group program for this amount.

Speaker 1:

Proposing it to people like that is such a beautiful opportunity because now you're adding incredible value. You are giving them the rights to actually, if they want to repurpose your Q and A call, they get access to that. There's like so much goodness in that and so so much visibility to be happening there and although I showed like a very different sun price like $50 went $10 ahead if that's what you were selling on their program. But it's like I think we also forget that it is such an easy conversion. We are providing so much value. We are touching hundreds of people that we never would have been able to otherwise and I just think it's a beautiful opportunity so getting really creative of how you can do collaborations, of partnerships, and also serve them deeply. Those two things can coexist.

Speaker 1:

Another thing with the partnerships and collaborations, this can look like going on someone else's podcast or going live in a Facebook group. It can even look like doing a free live in someone's mastermind or a group program and having your low ticket be there to transfer them over. Like, as frank as I can be, if you're going to be doing free training since someone else's mastermind and group program, there should be that next step to work with you, and I think it should be like an irresistible offer. So I love low ticket for that reason. But I've done this with. I have a course called Become a Pass of course queen. That one is like a mid-hundred dollar option and for when I would do trainings and other people's masterminds or group programs, I would give them like an exclusive coupon code that gives them like a no-brainer option. I'll let them know like this coupon code is active for the next three days If you like access to it. This is your unique code and it is viable until Thursday or whatever it looks like, and so it was like a no-brainer option and it was like an exclusive steal of a deal and it was exactly on what the training was about. So if I go into people's group programs talking about passive courses, you best believe that I'm going to be having these incredible options to come into the next step, and that is if I'm doing like a free training on someone's mastermind. So there's a lot of different ways that we could do this, and I think that gives you guys the opportunity to experiment in what feels good and how you can collaborate and use it as an asset.

Speaker 1:

For the longest time, I was only selling my passive courses on social media and leaving it at that, but then what I realized is there's a whole untapped market. If you were someone in the fitness realm, why don't you partner with a life coach, like a mom life coach? That could be an incredible opportunity for you. If you are someone who absolutely loves copy, why don't you partner with a web designer? If you are someone who absolutely is in love with emotional regulation and you do like somatics, that would be an awesome opportunity for you to partner with either business coaches to teach their clients how to regulate themselves more, or to partner with life coaches in a way that maybe that isn't their area of expertise. There's always a way to partner. There's always a way to grow your business. There's always a way to find more right. There's always a way to grow. There's always an opportunity there for you. You just have to peel back the layers and look at what opportunities are presented in front of you.

Speaker 1:

So these are some examples of how I was able to create over 300 enrollments, and keep in mind like I do not work more than 20 hours a week. My hours have gone up a little bit over the years, just because I've really transitioned into a more mature role, if you will. But I primarily serve on my high ticket and mid ticket, and the things I'm doing in the behind the scenes are what no one else can do. It's creating podcasts. No one else has my voice, it is doing discovery calls and it is providing value where and when I can, and so I think it's just important to note I wasn't sitting on my phone Monday through Sunday, 6am to 8pm, trying to sell people into my courses. It was a really passive experience and I think it's also important to note although passive courses are primarily passive, it doesn't mean that there isn't any up front work.

Speaker 1:

I think that being consistent and showing up and putting your foot into the door and treating your passive courses as an asset is important. Having that mindset. You cannot just like, create them and forget them. There is a little bit of work that needs to go into it, but if you are truly putting your best foot forward, creating the strategy, creating that pathway for your courses, it's kind of inevitable. They have to perform well and I'm talking about sales and if they aren't performing well, it's really important to know what your sales page looks like or how you're marketing them.

Speaker 1:

But without getting into that, I think it's just important to note that if you're putting in all of this energy and strategy, there's no reason but for them to perform well. So, anyhow, I am so grateful. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to message me at ambitious and caffeinated. I am just so grateful for your time. If you would like to take a screenshot of this and put it on your Instagram stories and take me at ambitious and caffeinated, I always give out coffee at the end of the month for those who support me. I do a little draw and give a couple away, so that is always an option. Anyhow, I'm so grateful for your time and I cannot wait to see how passive courses change your business.
