Episode 2:  The Downward Spiral

Under the faithful leadership of Joshua, the Israelites entered the land God had promised to give them. Yet it did not take long for them to forget the LORD and the mighty works He had done on their behalf. They turned to idols and began the downward spiral that repeats and worsens throughout the rest of the book. Even so, the LORD remained faithful to His people and to His promises in spite of their sin. His grace is on display, even in Judges.
