Welcome back to Did's Happening Season One. Our episode today is all about my visit to Epic Universe and my thoughts. So had an opportunity to check off Epic, and um, I'm just gonna kind of go over what I did and what I thought of the attractions, the lands, the food that I ate, and just kind of sum up the experience. Um so I went in February. I went in February of 2026, and I was so excited about going to Epic. And honestly, when you when you approach that entrance portal, it really does feel magical. It really does. It's got such a great vibe. And you know, you enter in to the portal, and I guess the entrance portal, and and there you are, you know, you're in this beautiful land. I mean, they the universal creative team absolutely knocked it out of the park. Literally, it is it's dropped at gorgeous. I mean, just fountains everywhere, and you know, you got this giant, I don't know, Greek, Roman, I don't know what else you call it. Inspired statues and decor. And honestly, for a center plaza, I mean, this is how Epcot should be in the middle of their you know, world discovery area. Like this is to me, this is the crown jewel. It is just strikingly beautiful. Um, and in the distance, of course, you got the Helios Hotel, and I decided to basically um start right. As soon as I entered the park, as soon as I entered the gates, I just figured I would take it. And I don't know why I went with right. I think. Do you usually start left or right and go someplace? No, I don't know, but I started right. Um my thoughts and my goals of going into the going into Epic was a few things. I wanted to experience the lands, I wanted to experience the rides. I did have Express. I was there solo, which gave me the ability to kind of do what I wanted to do, take my time, slow down. Um, and it also obviously made it a lot cost efficient for me to go by myself. And I went there with the mission of I want to come out of Epic and tell myself, I gotta get my family there. I have to. Now, you know, I I was able to sell the Disneyland idea to my family, right? Um, you know, I went to Disneyland for the first time in February 2024, and um, you know, after visiting World, you know, multiple times with the family. Um, you know, and you know, when I first went into Disneyland, I kind of was a little skeptical of things. I enjoyed it, but it grew on me the more I experienced it to the point where I loved it and I couldn't wait to get back. And I was kind of curious to see if the journey was gonna be like this. Now, again, I have express, um, and I, you know, I want to see, because I want to be able to experience everything. I also was up in the air if I was gonna stay the whole night or not. Um, I went back and forth actually with our Discord community who was saying you gotta see the park at night. And I had a few factors kind of go against me there on why I didn't want to stay super late, but I wasn't rolling it out. I was trying to take the day how it went, and it was possible I would stay the whole day. But you know, that day, um, I ended up getting an epic, maybe around 10, 10:30. And enter the gates, and I start to my right, and I go to Isle of Burke as my first land. Now, I want to say that just the day prior, they announced that Stardust Racers was down and and not coming up. So, you know, kind of a bad opening there because that was one of the camp-miss attractions I really wanted to experience. To some, that's the number one attraction there. But I'll say this when I stepped into Isle of Burke, I was super impressed. Beautiful land, lot going on, but not distracting a lot going on, just uh it's it's gorgeous, right? It's got it's got the rides going on, and they're working together in one land, cohesive. You got a beautiful background with the mountain, and honestly, I am I'm not a how to train a dragon fan. I've never seen the movies. Do I want to see the movies now? I do. I mean, I kind of wanted to see it beforehand, I just never got around to it, but super impressed with the land. And the other thing was is I I kind of wanted to hit Dark Universe towards the end of the day, just in case I was gonna go, just in case I was gonna stick around at night. But I it kind of became apparent pretty early that this was gonna be a very busy day at Epic Universe, and I don't know if I have just unlucky timing, or if it just was a crowded period in February and it was it was a madhouse, guys. Like and as as pretty as Isla Burke was, the crowds were jar jarring, right? But still was like, hey, I'm excited to be here, glass half full kind of guy. I know it's very crowded, but we'll see where things take me. So I ended up getting in the express line for hiccup swing gliders, which had a 135-minute standby. And it was in express. I waited about 20 minutes, and I gotta say that that's one of those attractions that you do, and you just smile the whole time. You just come off that attraction and you're smiling. It's not super daring, but it moves quick, you know, in terms of you know, the coaster itself, and you're swinging kind of back and forth, feeling like a dragon. There's a couple scenes kind of like seven door smile trained, although I don't know if you actually go, I guess you do go inside briefly. There's there's a couple cool effects, and honestly, this this was probably an unbelievable way to start my epic universe day on the right foot in terms of attractions. Again, 20-minute wait for Express, you know, not the greatest, but not terrible, right? We've all had lightning lane molding passes that take that long at Disney, you know, but still, you are paying for a pretty expensive pass, right? Um, and in the back of my mind, I'm thinking Stardust, Racers is closed, and the other attraction was um was the carousel, and honestly, I wasn't gonna do this attraction by myself, with the exception is I probably would have done it at night just to check it out if I stayed through the night, just to do it. But I wasn't gonna get on a carousel in the middle of the day that it was pretty, but it's at the same time it's during the day. And I was blown away with hiccup swing gliders. I thought it was I thought it was extremely fun, and I actually gave it an 8.5 out of 10. So I really loved it. And then I went over and I did fire drill, and fire drill is kind of like this boat water attraction that you're shooting targets. Um, and there's opportunities on the ride where you cross paths with other boats that you can squirt, and this was a complete hoot. This was one of those attractions. I'm like, man, this is where I wish I had my girls with me, especially, because we would have been cracking up. And there was a moment where I crossed paths with this elderly gentleman, man, and I I got them really good. Um, and it became a chuckle after I got off the ride. I said, listen, man, don't take it personal. I'm sorry. And we were just both cracking up. So it was one of those things that that really was, it was a lot of fun. Maybe a tad short. Um, maybe I don't want to say repetitive. I I feel like I could have dealt with more ship-to-ship battles. I think that would have been funner. Um, but you get wet. Um, this had a 50-minute standby wait, but I only waited about 10 minutes with Express. Uh, I want to give a shout out to the cast member there. They were very friendly and engaging. And I always play stupid when I get on these attractions and ask, hey, you don't get wet on this thing, do you? And you know, he got a chuckle out of that. Uh so I gave this a six six and a half out of ten, a lot of laughs, tad short, a lot of fun. So I was pretty impressed with that pick so far. So far, so good. Listen, six out of five out of ten for a boat ride that you're shooting water, high score, right? I mean, that's kind of like if I had a rape mania or something, I'd I'd probably put it in that stratosphere. Very fun. So then I stopped and man, I probably should have the name of the place here. So bad job by me. But I had the lunch cone, the the real famous, infamous, whatever you want to call it, bread cone where I got Nashville chicken on it. It was like a Nashville chicken mac and cheese. And I got it at the stand. I think you can get it a couple different places, but this was delicious. This was awesome. And it had it had a like a chimichuri sauce on top, too. Could have dealt with a little bit less chimichiri sauce just because it took a little bit away from the rest of the flavors, but it was great. No complaints. I loved it, and I wasn't planning to eat the whole thing, and I did. And it's one of those things that's perfect because you're kind of walking around. Remember the old handwich at Disney World? You're walking around with it, and you can eat it as you walk. So again, epic. Strong start, epic. I'm loving it. Um, but then it was time to go check out. Well, first off, they had that other attraction that does not have expense. Um, the one that you kind of get into a dragon pose and you can you know swing. I don't know what it's called, but you could swing the swing your yourself around, apparently, and flips, prowl rolls, and that type of stuff. That didn't work out because it was just a long standby way. I think when I glance at it, it was maybe 55 minutes. And to me, like this is something that maybe I'll get back to if I have time, kind of thing. Um, but again, crowds were heavy and epic. You could feel the crowds. Um, you know, and for the most part, operations was pretty, pretty okay in Dollar Burke. I did ask a question to one of the cast members, and she kind of made a snide remark. It wasn't the most pleasant, but honestly, she could have just been in character. I don't know the story background. It definitely felt more of uh the first order as you're in rise than it was somebody that was happy to be there. But again, it could have been it could have been that's that's their thing. So I don't wanna I don't want to say that it wasn't a great and it was just a little a small interaction. I I think I asked man, what was the question that I asked? I can't remember. Um it was something about it was something about like, hey, in Epic is there this, and she said she repeated a few times in the Isle of Birth, in the Isle of Burke. So she wasn't breaking character, and maybe that was the thing. And again, I'm not saying that she was incredibly rude, but just not the most pleasant person. But for the most part, the interactions that I had was was very uh so don't don't take it as you know, universal wasn't being friendly, just could have been a one-off and a weird conversation due to because I'm a weird guy with weird questions, right? But then I went to go check out the theater show, and that was closed the whole day, never came up, and I had expressed for that. I don't even know if you need it, but it was it was closed, it never opened. Uh, so I was bummed I didn't get a chance to do that, but still overall, pressed with the Isle of Burke, and it was time for me to carry on and get to the next area, which I'm gonna say is the Harry Potter land, it's the battle. Um, I don't know what what the land actually gets called itself. Um magical um ministry of magic, I think that's what it's called. I don't know, but that's the ride that I did. The Harry Potter and the battle at the ministry, it had 150 standby weight, and it took 55 minutes in the express lightning lane or in the express lane. So I don't know if the ride broke down, but it felt it felt long. It felt long, it felt like a never-ending queue. Now, is the queue one of the best cues I've ever seen in my life? 100% gorgeous. Goes from just, you know, it wows you the moment that you enter in. There's a little effect. You've probably seen it. If you're not, I'm not gonna spoil it. And you walk in, I think most people have seen that that brick decor that looks like you're in maybe like a ticket booth or something. I don't it it's very beautiful in there, very, and it's it doesn't stop, it just goes from that scene to like five more pretty elaborate cue holdings before you get to any kind of pre-show, whether it's like a character, not a Harry Potter guy. It kind of reminds me of Gollum. He's talking to you um for a little bit, which is pretty neat, cool animatronic. And again, super impressed. Um, finally get to the attraction, and to some people, this was their favorite one. And I'm not gonna say that I didn't like it. I'm not gonna say that I didn't think it was good because those things aren't true. But the writing system, it's tough to figure out what's going on there in terms of you're you're in this like kind of this elevator, and then you're out in the open, and I gotta say, it's really creative, and there's a lot of screens, and then there they do bring in the animatronics with key scenes. It's very good. I just I probably the problem for me is I'm just not invested enough in these IPs. There's probably a drawback, but it's probably like if you were a Harry Potter fan, I think you're I think you get blown away with this attraction, clearly. Now, I've never done the the motorbike one, Hagrid's. I've done The Forbidden Journey. I did that in Universal Studios Hollywood. Um, and to me, like they kind of felt a little bit of the same. I don't know if it's using the the cuckoo arm in that attraction, but it kind of felt like it. At first I thought it was going to be more of a Tower of Terror attraction, but it's clearly not that. Even though you kind of look like you're in that space, but again, brilliant attraction overall. Something I can't wait to do again. But the long line, Express and Standby, spooked me, right? And you know, I know that there was a show there, but I didn't check out the show. So honestly, like it became a one and done for that era. I'm not sure why they wouldn't add have added a second attraction there. I know it's very immersive. It they do a great job um making it look like old school France or whatever. Like it's it's beautiful, it's a beautiful land. It's just missing a little bit to me overall, but I give the attraction a seven and a half seven and a half out of ten. So again, really liked it. I didn't have as much fun as the hiccup attraction, and it's not because I'm a coaster guy, guys. You guys know that. I'm a dark ride guy, but that's where I scored it. All right, so next up, again, I'm taking this in order, and I went over to Dark Universe, and again, I'm going during the day. At first I thought maybe I would get there. Again, I you know, I'm passing Stardust Racers finally, and the um the carousel, and I'm looking at it, and it's got a big sign Stardust Racer's closer today. And again, like I'm not gonna tell you that didn't kind of get me in a sour plus mode. And and then, like, you know, like I'm not gonna tell you that didn't get me off to a little bit of a rocky start. And then again, operations waited a real long time at the Harry Potter attraction, and it kind of spoofed me, man. Like, and I know that kind of comes with it, but I got Stardust Racers not open, right? I got the Dragon Show, not open. I got you know, nearly an hour experience in an express line, not great, right? So, like, I'm seeing these things, I'm like, man, either they're super crowded or the operations aren't as smooth here, you know, or maybe they're just oversell the park, which is pretty typical, right? I understand, but it's not a great experience. So I go into Dark Universe, and I go to Monsters Unchained, the Frankenstein Experiment, which I keep hearing is the best attraction at Epic Universe. They use the cuckoo arm, uh, kind of the same style as the Forbidden Journey. And honestly, it's it's an amazing attraction. Um, the animatronics, the screens, the effects, everything is pretty much a home run. I had another operations issue in the lines. I did skip a lot of the queue because I was in express. So I was in express, and it was time to go up to the lockers. The gentleman said go left or whatever it was, and that was the single rider queue. So I literally in the I was in the and I was supposed to be in the express line, but he put me in the in the single rider. And again, probably something that should have been five, 10 minutes took me like 20, 25 minutes, but it was really frustrating because I didn't know it at first, and I just kept seeing like tons of people passing him like, what is going on? And I asked, I'm like, is this the single rider or is this express like no, you're in a single rider? I'm like, okay, that's not good. So again, maybe just a little operational confusion, maybe it's my fault, but again, it's not like it was the end of the world. But for a ride that has great capacity, like maybe I would have done that twice, right? Maybe I would have considered doing an attraction twice, but I just I felt like it was such a mess that I didn't want to do it again. The attraction was was excellent. I'd give it a seven and a half out of ten, still not my favorite. Still, I'd probably put it the equivalent of the Harry Potter ride. This would probably be the attraction out of all the attractions that I did that I would want to do again. So I don't know what that tells you, but I just kind of want to, it's very immersive, it's very cool, there's a lot going on. So I was very impressed. Um, and then I went over to Curse of the Werewolf, which had a 120-minute wait. Again, you can hear these wait times are awful. Imagine going to a Disney park and every ride's like that, you say, oh, well, I've seen it in Hollywood Studios like that. The thing with Hollywood Studios is there's six shows you could go in at standby. You know, Star Tours never has a long wait. Now I know it's a brand new park. Gotta give them the benefit of the doubt. Like, I understand that. But again, like my expectations were pretty high coming in. And, you know, I did Curse of the Werewood, uh Werewolf, only a 12 minutes express wait. And it's not a great ride. I mean, it kind of has a spinning component to it, but it's very mediocre, it's very short, very skippable. It's probably better as like a kid's ride. It's a it's it's better than Barnstormer, but it's not much better. I give this a five out of 10. Um, I'm not gonna say it's a complete waste of space because I know it I know parks need non-e tickets. I get it, but uh just just felt like it was a miss for me a little bit. It could have been better. Um, so you know, this is still kind of earlier in the day. Obviously, I'm not close to nighttime. And honestly, this was the pool to keep me there at night, and uh it it didn't have enough, gang. I left there and I was like, I'm good. I'm good at peacing out here and keeping some experiences when I returned to my family as my first experiences, and that was kind of in the back of my head, too. So then I went over to the last land and I went to Nintendo World. Again, cool portal, you're going up the warp pipe, and I you know, I was really excited about the Donkey Kong attraction. I did the Mario Kart one before. That's that's honestly not a great attraction, guys. Like, you use yeah well, I'll get to that in a minute. Let's talk about the Donkey Kong attraction. So, first off, the Donkey Kong land's cool. Like, I was a super NES kid, and I played Donkey Kong, and I remember trying to get all the bonus levels, and that's a great game. I mean, the graphics are way ahead of anything on that system, and I think we all, if you were a gamer, you remember that. This land was for me. I loved the Donkey Kong land. I thought it was awesome. Um, very immersive, cool backdrop. Yeah, you know, I'm pretty sure there was an animatronic there. There was definitely an animatronic in the queue. Um, but you know, pretty cool stores. Again, this was a place that I would like to spend more time in, no question about it. They do just have one main attraction. It's called My Cart Manaus. 135 minute wait. Took me 10 minutes and express. So good job, universal. And I gave this a seven out of 10, but I would probably put it up there with the other ones that I enjoyed, you know. Um, the you know, the monsters unchained. And you know, the Harry Potter and the and the hiccups. Like this was really fun. Like, maybe a tad short, but definitely liked the dark ride component. Definitely liked you know, seeing Diddy in there, Cranky Kong. I'm trying to think if Cranky was in the queue or if he was in the in the attraction. But I'm not going to say that the effects that they tried to pull off completely worked. It's got me nervous for the cars attraction out in Frontierland. If they use that system with the suspended arm. You know, because you're you're going over tracks or you're on a minecart, and the I guess the the anchor that connects you is to the side. So when you're looking down, it looks like you're not necessarily on a track. There's some places that you kind of skip or jump over, but it doesn't necessarily feel like you're in the air or anything like that. I will say that when you go up, when you go up a ramp, uh there's these like, I don't even know how to explain it, but you definitely, that's like the best sensation you get for this ride attraction because it's bumpy and you doesn't make sense why it's bumpy unless you're looking at the ground while you're going up the coaster. And I felt like they pulled that off pretty well. Um, so I gave it short, but good scenes and effects are cool. Still definitely worth doing. So I was happy with Minecart Maintenance. Then I did Yoshi's Adventure 55 minute. Now this is a kid's ride, 55 minute standby, rough, rough crowds, gang. 10 minutes it took me to get on express. And it's just this is not great. It's got one dark scene, it's kind of cool, but the rest of it is just kind of going around. It's like a think of like a people mover, maybe a little plused up. I'd still rather do the people mover. Um, it was it was okay. Kids ride, and I'm not saying that Nintendo World shouldn't have these rides, but at the same time, my goal was to go in there and evaluate if I thought the attractions were fun and if my family would enjoy it. And if overall my family would enjoy it. So again, finish up in Nintendo Land with Mario Kart, 90-minute standby, 29-minute express. And honestly, this is kind of like the same experience happened to us at Universal Studios Hollywood. This this ride never moves well in Express. Again, maybe I'm sounding like sour grapes here, but 30 minutes, you know, it's not great. And I the attractions, it's okay. You know, you're going around a track. I mean, the cue, like, I'll give the 10 no, I'm sorry, I'll give Universal credit, man. Their cues are outstanding. The pre-shows are outstanding. Like, they have really knocked the ball out of the park with some of these cue spaces. But the ride itself, you know, you're putting on this AR, you know, uh visor, and you're going around a track. They give you the impression that you're steering, but you're really not doing anything. You're trying to zap people and you're nodding your head and you're hitting a couple buttons, it's okay. Like, I understand they can't make it a true Grand Prix Mario Kart experience. I understand. But man, I just feel like this could have been this this attraction could have been better. I know it's in a few spots now in the world, but I would say it's okay. It's just okay. If you like Tomorrowland Speedway with more theming and maybe a little more effects because of AR, you know, okay. This is not bad. But overall, I give it a five out of ten. So, you know, I spent a decent amount of um of the day there, and I came out of Nintendo World and I was like, well, what do I want to hit again? And the answer was when I looked at the standby lines, there was nothing I could do. They were all super long lines. The shows were closed. I could have done the the Harry Potter one. That's probably one I could have circled back in. I could have done the standby only at the Isle of Burke. You know, there was no shot at this point when I left that I'm like, I gotta stay for the Kronos Fountain show, which I did watch on YouTube. Not saying Universal doesn't do a nice job with this, but let's face it, it's got no pyro. It's a nice show. When I saw it on YouTube, again, I know that's not in person, so I had that caveat, but that's nothing that would make me want to stay till nighttime, right? To me, this is the equivalent of do you want to stay for the tree of life projections? You know, like it's it's okay, it's better than nothing, and I'm sure it's better than the tree of life projections overall, um, because it just you know it uses the whole park. But I think I'll save that for when I'm with my family. It's a pure epic day. We're leaving there, maybe we're going to an epic resort, which by the way, I tried to stay at an epic resort, but I could not get anything at a decent price. I couldn't get a world um, I couldn't get a Disney World resort at a decent price either. Um, so that night I actually stayed at something close to the airport. But instead, finishing my day at Epic, I decided that I wanted to go back to my favorite park in we'll say Orlando. I know it's the greater Orlando area, and that was Epcot. And that's where I finished my night. I'll talk about that on another episode. So coming away from Epic, I was really impressed. I was really impressed with their lands. I was really impressed with some of their attractions. I don't think any of the attractions were, oh my god, I have to do those attractions again. None of them felt like that. None of them to me felt like Rise of the Resistance. They didn't. None of them felt Flight of Passage to me. None of them felt like Tron or Guardians, none of them felt like Haunted Mansion or or even Mickey's and Minnie's Runaway Railway. How does that park not have a dark ride? It doesn't have one. Like it doesn't just have a people eater consuming dark ride. Very odd. Very odd choices on Epic's part there. And from an operation perspective, I just felt like the express lines moved slow. I felt like it was super crowded. And it's funny, I'm on the forums and people talk about, well, Villain's Land might have a bottleneck and you know, might have a dead end. Well, that's all Epic is. Each portal has a dead end. There's no way to get from laying to land. You got to come out and come back to the center area. So they're all dead ends, if you want to look at it that way, at Epic. So I left there, kind of disappointed. Uh, to Universal's credit, I tagged them in my post that beautiful park, enjoyed the things that I did, but really disappointed with some of the operations challenges there. And I guess maybe they just had too much pressing. And to their credit, they have communicated with me and they want me to come back. I'm not gonna add more to that. Um, but they they made a nice gesture, so I'll say that. So I think they realized that that date that I went was a mess. So I'll give them some credit there. Um, but at the same time, I wanted to leave there feeling like, all right, I did it. Now I gotta get my family to do it, and I'm not there. I'm not there. I don't have this passion to get my family down there. First off, I'm not sure I could commit to express for four people. I did that in Universal Studios Hollywood. I'm not saying that I wouldn't do that again. I certainly would, but that's a special kind of trip, right? And I don't feel like I'm there. I don't feel like any of the attractions talk to me in a way that says I have to get my family there to experience it. And I think that's the greatest travesty about me going, is that I wanted to love it. I wanted to, you know, and there's there's part of that that maybe I just don't connect with the IP as much. You know, Disney gets me in the fields. I don't know why, but they do. I get the feels when I watch nighttime shows. When I went back to Epcot, I literally sat and watched Spaceship Earth and the night shows, the beacons. I watched maybe one rotation of them all, maybe one and a half. I got emotional to earn uh the rainbow connection with the Muppet version for Festival of the Arts. It was my happy place, guys. That's where I was when I went back to Epcot. And it wasn't about the rides, right? And it wasn't even necessarily about the IP, but there was something, there's something that connects me. That gets my gets me a more emotional at Disney World. Can Universal ever capture that? I don't know. And that's not necessarily Universal's fault. I don't blame Universal for those issues. That could just be a me thing. Um, you know, I haven't been to the other Universal Orlando parks, and it's on my list to do. I would say I'm almost more curious to check those out uh with my family than I am to check off Epic Universe. Does it mean I'll never go back to Epic Universe? No, of course not. I will go back. Will I go back with my family anytime soon? It really would depend. It really would have to come from my family. They would have to say, Dad, we gotta try, we gotta go there, we gotta do it. But I don't know if I could do a five or six day stay at Epic. I mean, I'm sorry, at Universal. I just don't know. After doing the Universal Studios Hollywood in the Epic Universe, I just don't know if I would be up for that. But, you know, so I would say went there, was impressed with the visuals, the lands, cues, the attractions, not impressed with and I was also impressed with the food too. The uh, and I got I also got butterbeer, right? Gotta do that. But not super impressed with the park in terms of vent, you know, putting out the dollars to get my family to go there. Just not. Uh so I would say it was an epic, you know, disappointment overall. Um, and maybe I just had different expectations, and maybe it's not all fair to Universal. Um, but when I left there, I did not feel the same way I felt about Disneyland. We're gonna, there's gonna be more episodes, and there's other things that I did as a first timer. Uh, and you'll hear them. You might have already heard them, depending where this episode ends up in the order. Um, but those experiences that I did, I felt like, man, I can't wait to get my family on this. I can't wait to do my I can't wait to take my family on this. Nothing like that at Epic. Is it me, guys? Is it am I the problem? Like Nintendo Land is cute, and I think it'd be great if I had a little older than toddlers or fans that were just super Nintendo fans. Other than that, meh. Dark Universe, one great attraction, one mediocre attraction, eh, right? Harry Potter Land, one really good attraction, great theming everywhere. Meh. Olive Burke was probably the winner, but again, I didn't even get a chance to experience all that. Um, and obviously, you know, Centennial Park, I believe I'm calling it the right way. I believe that's what it's called. You know, no Stardust Racers, and obviously the carousel, you can't put too much weight into that. Too, you know, good or bad, just not my cup of tea to go so low. So anyway, I hope you liked my recap of Epic Universe. I hope that if you listen to it, and here's the thing maybe if you go, maybe go in September, maybe go in May, maybe don't go in February, maybe I just went in a really bad time. But I would keep your eyes on standby. If the standbys are over a hundred minutes long for every attraction the whole day, that's a problem, guys. That's not a great experience. I mean, unless you like waiting, I mean, some people do, some people are okay with that, but you know, and I feel like that's what I'd have to do if I didn't get it express. And I feel like my family would be extremely miserable. So if you're look looking to take a larger party, I say skip it. I say wait till they refine things, wait till they add things, and they will, they'll plus that park up. Um, you know, no nighttime spectacular besides the fountain show. It's not like I had to, and I I know there's some permits for maybe some pyro locations for Epic. Like, yeah, they need a fireworks show there. Like, if you're gonna be, if you're gonna be a park that you wanna, you guys know how I am with the nighttime shows. If you want my respect, you need a nighttime show, you need a proper send-off, you know, you could do a nice cute show. And look, you say World of Color doesn't have World of Color has a lot going on, right? And it's not a a 10-minute coordinated fountain show. Yeah, okay, it is a coordinated fountain show, but there's the backdrop with you know Pixar Pier, the IP, the fountain shows, there's connection there, and I'd much rather watch that show. And it's the reason why I I I did want to call her a little bit compared to the other shows, because there's no pyro, but it's still great. Um, and so and again, I just watched the YouTube version of it. So it's not like YouTube version of the of the one in Epic, but it's still anyway. So that is my recap for Epic. I hope you enjoyed it. We will see you all soon in another episode.
