Is anyone else as excited about this as I am? I don't think so. I've been thinking about doing a podcast for a long time now. And maybe I'm jumping the gun here by starting my own podcast at such a young age. At least that's what my inner villain keeps telling me; "you don't have enough experience under your belt, nobody is going to take life advice from a kid, you're just wasting time on another dumb side project that isn't going to amount to anything, somebody else could do it better."Inner villain, why don't you do us all a favor and zip it. Like seriously, you're so freaking lame... Let's hear what the inner hero has to say. Hey inner hero, good to hear from you again, you're way better than that other guy. Listen up, I don't know my calling, but I do know that I am supposed to help as many people as possible during my short time on this Earth. Isn't that what it's all about? I think that's what I've learned in church and in work, that I really enjoy helping people and they seem to enjoy it too. Helping with what? I don't know. But there's somebody out there that needs to hear what I have to say. So I came to the pretty simple conclusion that if I find the most happiness serving others, even if it's only one person, that I can be even happier if I were to serve and reach more people. Help more people out. That's what we call positive impact right? And recently I've found that a great way to maximize my impact is with social media. Now, personally, I prefer staying off the stuff as much as I can, but I know that God would call me a fool if I didn't use these tools at my disposal to maximize my impact. So I guess better late than never. Now, I have so much to be grateful for. Not to brag but I believe I'm one of the most blessed people, highly favored by the Lord. But I think it's crazy that I was born in this day and age. Seriously, look around, revolutions are happening around the globe and at lightning speeds. The world is progressing at such a rate that we've never seen before. And the sheer amount of information out there is so vast that it's hard to focus on what is actually nourishing to the mind and soul. Like it or not, the internet has completely changed the course of human history, yet too many of us end up being used by the internet rather than using it. Read that again and just think about all that time you've wasted scrolling mindlessly through Instagram and TikTok, impulsively opening Snapchat only to find that other people are living your dream life while you keep scrolling, switching between apps, and maybe even scroll some more. This is what has inspired me to start this podcast. This is my mission. To help provide positive alternatives for our digital consumption so that we may nourish and improve our being.Reader, listen up, 'cause this is your wake-up call. To do something great. You were not put here on this earth during this crazy awesome time in history to be another cog in the machine. No! Believe me when I say that you have a higher calling, a bigger purpose for being, that you are divinely appointed to be here at this very time in history. Yes! Your life is your canvas, and I cannot wait to see what you come up with.
