Jake jokes that it would take a month to release this episode. It took two. Jake also claims that we had 36 new wines arriving to the shelves. We had 54.
In other news, Rox asks, does size matter? And proves that the wine trade isn't all fun and games by going to a very serious Rosé tasting, hosted by Domaine de Triennes.

We tackle an unsolicited sample bottle of Champagne (oh, the chores of being a wine merchant...), move swiftly onto Godello (so that Rox can brag about the lovely juice she enjoyed on holiday), and... we have a new feature! Finally a segment to end our unscripted ramble chats, perhaps, in this first airing of our "Whines about Wine". Rox and Jake lift the lid on the (potentially endless) list of things they don't mind having a whinge about within the wine trade. Buckle Up!

This week, Rox and Jake are joined by a special guest. Kate McFruin is an account manager for Liberty Wines - one of our favourite importers of the finest juice, globally.
As always... an unplanned & unscripted ramble chat. But our conversation weaves around a couple of corking wines, one of which is tasted blind by team VG. We learn about the role of an account manager for one of the country's best importers for the on and off-trade, and what it takes to become a judge for the International Wine Challenge.

On the anniversary of Vino Towers opening, Rox and Jake are joined by special guest, Henry Hackett of Champagne Devaux working on behalf of their UK importers, Liberty Wines.
