The Chasing Daylight Podcast
347: Inside Legacy’s Comeback: Greens, Water, and What Golfers Miss
The best story in town isn’t a viral ace or a new driver—it’s a public course quietly fixing the stuff that actually changes your round. Recently Matt met with The Legacy’s GM and dug into water constraints, smarter irrigation, fragile overseed choices, and why this winter’s promise is simple and rare: smooth greens you can trust. No spin, no sizzle reel—just the mechanics of better golf, explained in plain language you’ll feel when your putt holds its line.
From there, we widen the lens. Revere Golf Club: Lexington is lush, Concord’s back, and October in Vegas is elite golf weather—fast mornings, crisp evenings, and two events on the calendar. We break down our night skins at Cloud Nine, why we refunded the pot for fairness, and how those small decisions keep the scene honest.
We also pull back the curtain on gear: how a 70g graphite iron shaft unlocked higher launch and softer landings, why speed-only fittings miss the point, and what tools to buy first if you’re getting into club building at home.
Community is the throughline. CDP Premium is live for deeper cuts and after-hours riffs. Our listener-powered Vegas rankings app is coming, so you can grade every course with the same scorecard we use—then challenge our list with data.
We spotlight the returning Skins Game, the real pulse behind TGL talk, and the rising buzz around Rodeo Dunes, including how last year’s charity auction raised over $100K for a cause that matters.
If you love golf beyond the highlight reel—if you care about surfaces, setups, fittings, and the people who show up—you’ll feel at home here.

What is up, everybody? Welcome. Welcome to another episode of the Chasing Day Lab Podcast. Welcome. Welcome. What's up? Your boy is tired tonight. I'm exhausted. I got my ass handed to me. Your dad's tired. Your dad's tired. I got my ass handed to me at work today. Um, and I'm exhausted. So get a job. This may be a 20-minute podcast. Because Pops, Pops is tired.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you can leave it.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I have a job, Joe. Gotta support you. T Lou, how are you living? Shout out to Lou.
SPEAKER_00:Let's go.
SPEAKER_03:Uh, yeah, everybody say thank you so much for tuning into this week's show. There is not a whole lot going on in the golf space right now, but we do have some things that we can chat about. Yeah. Uh, first off, I want to say thank you so much to Garson Golf, our show's sponsor. Uh, if you have not gotten yourself a Garson grip, what are you even doing? I had uh Mr. Mr. Slice, Mr. Jason Vanderslice, brought me a couple putters and some grips.
SPEAKER_00:The slice on whatnot.
SPEAKER_03:And I said, uh, ew, I don't like those grips. They were uh another brand. He's like, Wait, you got anything better? I said, Yeah, I sure do. Right here. Bam, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. What do you think? And he's like, Whoa, okay. He goes, I like this one, I like this one. I said, Great. Uh put them on for him, and uh then forgot to bring him to the skins game. Very nice. Yeah, well done. It was quite epic. Had a little family drama going on. Good job. Got distracted. So but I did get him his ball marker that he I've had for three months. Uh, so that happened. And quest for parts. Ball markers everywhere. I got the hat from Jeremy. I will be mailing that out tomorrow. So uh Dave, Dave. That's the yeah. Thank you uh for participating last week. Oh, let me know.
SPEAKER_00:I literally have fucking ball markers everywhere, dude.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, you do you walk around and rattle the the ball markers in your pocket all day?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, for eight ball marker, heron ball marker, Scotty Chippin, or no, Scotty Covers, uh Thrifty. I mean Ruff Hidden Fear everywhere, they're literally everywhere.
SPEAKER_03:Little chaos going on, huh? Yeah. I have I got I got a display of ball markers over there. I've got uh the little coin bag that I keep in in my golf bag with markers. I reorganized the garage, the workshop, and got a stacked drawer system, and I've got a drawer for ball markers in that. I gotta stop, I gotta stop buying ball markers. I just don't need them anymore.
SPEAKER_00:Got paint in the house. Appreciate you. Yes, T Lou does need ball markers. I'm I'm just I'm collecting ball markers of the sellers that I like that are fucked. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03:So there you go. Uh so um a couple things we can chat about tonight. I had that interview with Trey Orle, the um GM out at Legacy. If you guys have not watched that video, it's on the YouTube channel.
SPEAKER_00:Uh looking clean, legacy's looking good.
SPEAKER_03:Legacy is looking good. We had our cloud nine skins game Sunday night in the VGN. We got the VGN this weekend at Legacy. Uh, also want to give some love to Kat and Julian. Dan's not with us tonight, he's down with them in Arizona. They're having their celebration of marriage. Happily wet down there in Arizona. So congrats to those two. Big part of the Vegas Golf fam. Uh, and then uh let's see, the VGN 2026 season is open. If anybody wants to sign up for that, please do.
SPEAKER_00:So open for those. Speaking of skins game, the skins game is coming back.
SPEAKER_03:I saw something about that.
SPEAKER_00:They need to like have like a vintage feel to it because the skins game back in the day, like they need to put a filter on the those cameras or something, like old, you know, it's a correlated fuzziness.
SPEAKER_03:This is only available in uh you know one by one format on VHS, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Dude, that'll be awesome.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, if you have a CRT TV to be able to view this.
SPEAKER_00:Well, it's JT, Tommy Fleetwood, Keegan Bradley, and Xander.
SPEAKER_04:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Where are they playing it at? Uh they're gonna play it at Panther National, of course, because okay. Um, people were saying, like, play it in the desert, Palm Desert, but um, you know, JT being involved. He's he's uh co-designer of Panther National. I can't remember with Jack. Something like that.
SPEAKER_03:It would be cool if they could do it like during like in the slow time when there's not a lot of golf going on.
SPEAKER_00:I think it's December. I think it's supposed to be December.
SPEAKER_03:Before TGL starts, you know, you got uh October, November, December, where you could do this like maybe every other week and just go hit up some of the you know golf uh.com's top 100 and and knock out some amazing places to show some pretty interesting.
SPEAKER_00:I was going out sourcing for the 5K show on Sunday. Um, and I was at PGA superstore yesterday, I think, and they're selling official hammer towels. Wow, the hammer, yeah. The hammer towels, the orange towels.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, oh, okay. TGL.
SPEAKER_00:They're selling those towels at PGA superstore, which is not you're talking about the boom baby guy. No, no, no, no. The the towels that they throw, like hey, yeah, yeah, the hammer. Yeah. Hell no. Wow. Interesting. TGL.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, on a scale of one to ten. That's a one.
unknown:Sorry.
SPEAKER_02:I wonder when uh if they made any changes. I haven't really looked into it much.
SPEAKER_03:I enjoyed it. Yeah, I enjoyed it too. They they started they just started promoting it because now that it's upcoming, and like I said, there's not a lot going on. So I think you'll start seeing a little bit more of that out there. Hey, the Yanks one. All right, one good thing down today. Yeah, still alive, still alive. All right, uh, so um other things that are going on. Uh, we do have a new way for you guys to support the show. The links are in the story or in the show notes. Uh, you can view it now on YouTube. We have a subscription base called uh CDP Premium, which we're still working on, still very new. Already have a couple subscribers, so thank you so much for that. Uh, we'll get to shout-outs on that. We'll throw your name up on the screen. So uh we really appreciate that. You can also make a contribution if you want to. We are working on some content only for the streaming, the the premium service. Uh, I think uh Roars and I are gonna start doing fitter builder player a little bit more, and those are gonna be only only on the the CD premium.
SPEAKER_00:We should just record what we talk about after the podcast is done and then give them premium CDP after dark, CDP after after dark, after after dark.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, sometimes those conversations go on a little long.
SPEAKER_02:Yes, they do.
SPEAKER_03:All right, uh some local news going on. So the VGK season opens up tomorrow night. If you hockey fans are out there, uh they open up tomorrow night at home against the the Kings. Um, the Aces uh are up two games to none against Phoenix. That is tomorrow night in Phoenix. The Rebels are 5-0. Go UNLV. They have a home game this weekend against Air Force. Uh we have the VGN, like I said earlier, on Sunday out at Legacy, and some guy Joe hit hitting Gron has a 5k whatnot show this weekend. Yeah, yeah. Who's coming over? I I would love to come over and help, like you were saying earlier on tonight's little pop out, but I am catching a red-eyed to New York Sunday night.
SPEAKER_00:So it's all right. The slice from whatnot is gonna come over and help also. Hey, nice shout out, Jason. Hey, also, guys, if you have any questions while we're doing this podcast, throw them in the chat. All right, throw any questions you have, golf related, throw them in the chat. Um, but yeah, it was uh it it tonight I popped on to just promote the podcast and it was a wild night. It's getting cooked. Yeah, so uh started a little slow.
SPEAKER_03:You were complaining a lot at the beginning.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it was it was it was a wild night, and that's the thing, you never know. But uh yeah, 5k show, win or lose. We're gonna give away a spider's E T putter. Uh we're gonna give away that, huh? Nope, not gonna game it. I do have a Bett Nardy uh Queen B. It's super short, it it would fit you very well, Matt. Um but I I might I might very short this guy. It's very short. I might I might bring it to Legacy and play it because I love the feel of it, which is weird, right? But uh or and I might play it that day, and then maybe we'll sell it that night. But um yeah, I got a lot of shit. I got a lot of stuff. I have a bunch of Vokies come in. Uh yeah, I got a lot of stuff. And uh trying to do trying to do it big, trying to trying to like actually make it a celebration in the garage. And I I'd hope all the homies that are taking red eye flights would show up and uh just support, you know what I mean. What time does it start?
SPEAKER_03:I'll be there and see.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. Uh currently, I don't know. I'm gonna, you know, uh six according to the notifications, it's been starting every day for two weeks. That's right. We're building bookmarks. Hey, these guys know what it's about. Uh some days are wild. You're right, T Lou.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, some days on that. Well, the yesterday uh take five was going crazy. Going crazy. People were donating wedge giveaways, then he went four in a row Scotty giveaways. Yeah, that was wild. Yeah, that was wild. It's nuts on there sometimes. I had to step away and whatnot for a little while. It's dangerous, man.
SPEAKER_00:Save some money. Well, uh that's the hard thing, is like I was gone for I was in Maryland for like four days, and I'm like, I feel like I'm lost now, you know. The shit happened so fast.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I I have been good at not spending money on it lately. Been really good at that. I just I just love watching. Yeah, me too. I love watching, I love seeing some of the deals. I love seeing people get excited about things. I I love the rare, the rare finds.
SPEAKER_00:Like day five's got a bunch of oven stuff that is like, oh I bought some of those uh Nike heads yesterday. Yeah, I bought I bought one. I got like six of them coming. But no, uh that's the thing. Like, it's every time I ask the question when I do a show is like, are you new to golf? Who's new to golf? How long have you been playing? And it's like most of the time, it's like new, new, less than a year, less than a year, 16 months. And it's like, I I was I was in Maryland and I I met up with Thrifty, Thrifty Golf DMV. He's been on the show, and he we were talking about whatnot and the state that it's in. And I was like, you know, like I just feel as an embed I I'm not an ambassador of the game, right? But I love the game. The game of golf has given me so many things, it's given me friendships like you guys, and golf. I I feel like I honestly could never repay it back. And I just want to teach the people that don't know. Uh you might know about clubs, you probably know about Tailor Maid, Calloway, Company Man. Uh, but all these names, and I I there's some there's so many intricacies about the game of golf that you probably don't know about, and that's that's become a passion of mine because it's I dude, I love golf, like seriously. And uh I can't do it as much as I want to, but when I get to do it, I try and enjoy every aspect of it, every moment. So it's like I want to bring that to whatnot, right? If I lose, I lose, and if I lose too much, uh you won't see me anymore. But if I you know, if I win, then you'll see me a lot, you know. And it's I don't know, golf is just the dopest thing in the world. I love golf.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, how was how was Maryland?
SPEAKER_00:Maryland was cool, so uh the second swing in Maryland is not like the Phoenix version. Phoenix it kills the Maryland second swing 100%. It was very small. I found some stuff. I mean, obviously, like second swing is not for digging and finding stuff for resellers, but you know, there's some things we can we can break even with. And if I break even on things with clubs, like we're good. Um but yeah, I found a good wood putter, shot out good wood.
SPEAKER_03:Um you never answered me. How much were they wanting for that?
SPEAKER_00:I don't even remember. I honestly don't remember.
SPEAKER_03:Because they have a ton of goodwoods on their website, but they're all way overpriced for resale, you know.
SPEAKER_00:New different, but no, when when when Thrifty came in, because Thrifty knows Goodwood, and um he came in. I was like, Did you see this?
SPEAKER_03:You hang on, you ever heard of Mer Marumon golf clubs? Marumon? Oh yeah, Marumon? You have Jay?
SPEAKER_00:Oh I have not. That's a name that I haven't seen in years. Ooh, Hawaiian special or what?
SPEAKER_03:Anyways, sorry to interrupt. You're talking about uh uh he knows Goodwood.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, no, yeah. I I I was in there and um I didn't spend a time. I you know me, I I go to the wedges, like I that's my favorite clubs in the bag. Like that's the scoring club. So I went, I went and just combed the fairway woods real quick, and then I went straight to the wedges. So I got a bunch of uh thankfully they are shipping the clubs back because I went to been able to get those on the airplane. Um, but they're shipping me a bunch of Vokies, 14s.
SPEAKER_03:Um, I forget what else I bought, but um should have bought like a bag and a travel bag and just done it all like that.
SPEAKER_00:I thought about it, but I didn't get to play, so I didn't bring it. Um but then we went to a thrift shop and uh got to observe Thrifty Golf D M V in his natural habitat.
SPEAKER_04:Nice.
SPEAKER_00:I was not I was not like trying to like get in his business because that's his that's his area, that's that's where he's from. So he found some sick stuff.
SPEAKER_03:He found a couple couple things that were pretty how the thrift shops out there compare to what we got here, massive, massive, massive, right?
SPEAKER_00:Massive, way different, way different. Um, but yeah, I after that I came home. You know, I had yesterday off and I went to go comb a few, found some pretty cool shit. I found some Olympic club polos yesterday. Um yeah, pretty crazy.
SPEAKER_03:But yeah, we we think that uh out here what happens is uh people get divorced and ex-wives get to get a hold of the collections and they like to just give that shit away. And it happens a lot out here, so you can find some real some real heavy bangers out here if you're like you gotta dig you gotta dig way more out here though.
SPEAKER_00:Like it's because it's so spread out, but um like dude, Thrifty found this like windbreaker jacket thing from the players that's probably like early 90s. Five bucks. It was sick. Oh I was like, uh damn, I'm gonna have to bid on bid on that show, right?
SPEAKER_03:Shit. I'll give you 10 right now.
SPEAKER_00:That'll be mine. Yeah, no, but it was cool to see, you know. I love all the dude, like the relationships you build through that app are pretty interesting. I know that the birdie gang, uh, shout out Bubba for the win. They're coming, they're coming here in January. Shout out and bush. He's uh potentially I'm gonna be his partner. We'll see what happens there. Um, but no, everyone's dope. Love it. Support everyone, follow everybody. Like I always say.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, there's drama on that shit, too. There's some drama. There is there's some deep-seated drama that's going on, and and a lot of people were trying to bait uh Tyler and do it last night.
SPEAKER_00:You gotta keep up with it, man. That's that's the thing, bro.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, you you don't hang out for a couple days, you come in there, it's a whole different world. Like, oh no, we're not in Texas anymore.
SPEAKER_00:Well, I was around for like five days, and I feel like I missed so much shit, and I feel like I gotta get back up in there, you know. It's it's so crazy. Whatnot is wild.
SPEAKER_03:All right, so we have uh the the cloud nine at uh skins game we had out at uh Angel Park, the Cloud9 course. Uh, this event I decided to go ahead and put it on, even though I was pondering canceling it, but then I found out my deposit wasn't refundable. So we were gonna think about moving it to the spring to try and get more people. Then I said, you know what? That's just what's the minimum people you'll let me bring and still be able to use my deposit. Uh so that was 16. I said, I'll try to get 20. So we ended up with 20 players, and uh it everybody that came was really happy, they had a really good time. Uh the the weather was it couldn't have been better. Oh, yeah. Sunday night was gorgeous. It was 73 degrees out there. By the sun, the sun going down a little bit, it it probably dropped to right around 70. It was there was no wind, it was perfect. The course, it was the first, the second day they had been open since the cloud nine course overseated. Uh, probably the best. You'll see those greens until this time again next year because they were not a crater factory. And it was it was a lot of fun. It was really sad we didn't get more people to come out to it. Um, got some feedback from the guys that came that said maybe Sunday nights aren't great for people. Uh, I know we have a lot of Sunday guys that can't play golf. Um, so the T-boxes were still beat up, Jordy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02:They were a little bit beat, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:And the bunkers have sand in them, but it's it's compacted sand. It's don't don't go in the bunkers. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I don't think they did much work on the T-Boxes. They were they already tore up pretty good, but the greens were fantastic.
SPEAKER_02:They were perfect, fast, smooth.
SPEAKER_03:And the putting green was crazy fast. Um, but the weather was fantastic out there. But so yeah, it was fun.
SPEAKER_02:I would love to do more of those. Like if we did another one in the spring, that was that's what everybody said.
SPEAKER_03:They they said they loved it, so yeah, we're gonna try and do we'll find a different night to do it on. Um, you know, maybe Friday night, maybe Saturday night. But uh yeah, hopefully, dust exactly.
SPEAKER_00:I'm jealous, I would have been there. I mean, oh, I know you would have there.
SPEAKER_03:And Dan would have been there, Trey would have been there, Julian would have been there. You know, we would have had probably another good 10-15 people. Um, just schedules didn't work out great for a lot of people, and uh, but I I will be doing it again. It was a lot of fun. We had everybody that birdied a hole, it was capped. So we had a$360 pot, and it all got capped. So uh for the remaining guys, that there was about six of us, seven of us hanging out, and Adam Simpson was there, and he was saying, you know, well, this is what we do at our club, you know, you have to validate. And then so we went back through, and the guys that validated that gave us three winners. And I was like, Well, you know, that's not really fair because if you had if you knew you had to validate, maybe you know, you hit your shots a little bit different after you make birdies, that's not really fair. So I just refunded everybody the$15 purse money for the skins.
SPEAKER_00:So I do have one question for the chat. Oh who's jo who's joining Vegas Golf Network next year? And if Jordy better, if Jordan doesn't put a yes, I'm gonna be very disappointed.
SPEAKER_03:Uh yeah, he's gonna have to.
SPEAKER_00:I'm gonna force him to Jordan.
SPEAKER_03:So he's he's hooked.
SPEAKER_00:I know he is, I know he is. That's what that's what golf will do to you, man.
SPEAKER_03:It will, it will. Uh, so yeah, so look for another event like that next year, uh, probably springtime before it starts getting too hot. We can still do it under the lights. And uh if I have any money when I come back from Japan, I'll join. All right, I'm gonna hold you to that.
SPEAKER_00:Jordan, text me because I gotta you gotta hit somewhere for me, and I'll I'll pay you for the shirt.
SPEAKER_03:Uh oh. All right, so want to talk about the legacy interview. Uh, it was it was awesome that Trey allowed me to come out there and tour the course and really go into uh depths about what's going on there. It's a nine-minute video, it's it's not an exciting video. It's not like wow, this is gonna get a million views because it's the best you know YouTube video golf content out there. But if you're somebody that has really wanted Legacy to come back and be the course that it was, please go check it out. Uh they great layout, they've been getting a ton of hate because of their conditions over the last 12 months. So Trey goes into a little bit of details about what has happened, talked about all the changes uh that they've done, tons of changes to the golf course, and a lot of it is behind the scenes that everyday golfers don't see and don't really understand. Um, I didn't I did not know that they don't have potable water there. Uh so most all the golf courses in town, the greens, they get to use potable water. Um, but legacy, for some reason, when they did their watering, they don't have potable water, so they have to treat the water they put on the greens, which costs more money. Um you know they Trey was telling me that most golf courses have eight sprinkler heads on a green. Uh four of them water the greens, the other four water the surrounding areas around the greens. They only have four. So they had to uh last year they've made some changes, but last year it was a 360 rotation. So in the winter, when the dormant Bermuda doesn't need water, it was still getting water, and the green wasn't getting enough water because in order for it to get enough, they would have to run it twice as long. That's gonna kill your water restrictions. So now they have new sprinkler heads in there that they can shut off half of that, so it only waters 180. Um, so you'll notice this year in the wintertime, the surrounding areas around the grain will not be squishy and muddy and nasty because it's been getting too much water that it doesn't need, and the greens will be a lot nicer. He went into a lot of details about the the grass on the greens. They use a Poa Trivialis in Vegas uh in the winter. Uh I didn't know that the majority of the golf courses in Vegas are bent greens. I thought we had a lot of Bermuda. Yeah, yes, the bird the 90% of the golf courses in Vegas have Bermuda greens or have bent greens. Uh there's 10% that have Bermuda, and then there's also a couple like Reflection Bay and Club at Sunrise that have the uh bad grass. I can't remember the name at the top of my head. Um so of the courses that have the Bermuda greens, all of them go dormant and they paint it, except for Legacy. They actually do an overseed and put a different grass on there. The grass that they put on there is a very fragile grass, and it doesn't do well in warm weather. And last year in October, when they were going through the overseed, we had a heat wave and it was nasty, and that grass did not make it, and the Bermuda came back, and so it had uh a bad root base of dead grass because it dies, and then you had the Bermuda coming back through it, so it made it really rough, really bumpy. And everybody remembers playing in the winter. Yep at Legacy, the greens were not good.
SPEAKER_00:True, yeah. So this year, frozen, frozen this year, much different.
SPEAKER_03:The grass is taken, it looks gorgeous. It's gonna be a little long, it'll be a little slow, but it's smooth. Uh, he told me that by our event this Sunday, they're gonna be able to lower the mower heights two more times, not the third final one that they want. Um, so they will be smooth, they won't be fast, they won't be slow, they'll but they'll be smooth. And I said, That's my guys can live with smooth greens, they can't live with bumpy slow greens, but smooth greens will be fine. Fairways are looking great, they got all new sand and all the greenside bonkers.
SPEAKER_00:And uh I think that's one of those things, too, though.
SPEAKER_03:It's like every like even when holy shit, we have a Michael Lindeggi sighting.
SPEAKER_00:Let's go. He's busy, bro. He's busy just busy traveling, man. Seeing beautiful golf courses.
SPEAKER_03:He goes to Colorado and he goes to Georgia. Next thing you know, he's like, Who's Matt in Vegas?
SPEAKER_02:We're gonna see drone footage of legacy from Mike on beautiful golf courses.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah. I think that's one of those things though, is like everybody expects like the pure, like pure golf courses. I mean, I know when I was playing, like when I first, you know, two years in, I was like, it's not green, fuck it. I'm not playing. Like if it's not green, why would I even spend my money there? But as I've matured in my golf uh knowledge, it's like the golf courses play different when it's dry, when it's green, when it's soft, when it's hard. And I think that's one of the beautiful things about golf courses change daily. Pins, uh firmness, softness. And it's like Legacy is uh a great layout. We've always said it. We've all said it.
SPEAKER_03:I know you did, Mike. I'm just messing with you. Thank you for that. Uh let's see, Jordy is Lexington back. Yeah, Lexington is back. Uh Jeremy and I played their Sunday. And it's it is in fantastic shape. Uh the it's still car path only. Five holes today. There's only five holes that were car path only. Uh so hopefully by the weekend they'll be back to full course. But it is green, it is lush, it is gorgeous. The greens are nice, everything is great. Uh the 15th fairway, Jerry. That is it is Bermuda. It is yeah, that's why it's incredible. Yeah, so on the 15th hole on Lexington, they replaced all the grass on the fairway with a Bermuda. Um, it'll save them a ton of water. It's a test to see how well the course handles that grass being there. And if it does well, then they're more than likely they're gonna go to that fairway grass uh throughout the course uh just to help keep a good course condition and still maintain, you know, the uh the the water overlords.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, it looked different. I I didn't look, I mean it's obviously very young and it's just coming in, but it looked way different than the normal Bermuda that you see at like National.
SPEAKER_03:It was fun to hit off of. Yeah, it was really nice to hit off. Uh what do you say here? I contact my phone from 2020. I have you as Matt Breakfast Ball. I'm not changing it. So many people know me as that, so that's fine. I'm okay with that. Uh yeah. So Lexington, go out to Lexington, get out there. Concord just opened up yesterday. It was his first day, it's back open, so Legacy's back, or uh uh Lexington and Concord are both open and going. Go check them out. Please do. The courses are in great shape. Now is a good time. The weather is amazing. We're gonna have we're gonna have rain Thursday and Friday, but uh yeah.
SPEAKER_02:It's the best time of the year to come to Vegas to play golf.
SPEAKER_03:October is my favorite month. It's the best. It's so good. October is absolutely so good. We got two tournaments this month. Yeah. All right. That's I mean, we've talked about everything that I really want to talk about.
SPEAKER_00:I wish they could plug an audio into whatnot.
SPEAKER_03:Yes, it is. The Lexington Concord, it's uh the where Paul Revere rode between. That's why it's Revere Golf Club, Lexington Concord.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:They used to have a lot of Paul Revere artwork and uh logos and him riding a horror with a flag way back in the day. What audio you mean, Joe.
SPEAKER_02:When the Revolutionary War was fought in Vegas. Back when Mexico. Yep.
SPEAKER_00:Paul Revere.
SPEAKER_03:The Panaka to uh PH.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:What are you trying to do, Joe?
SPEAKER_00:I was gonna go live on whatnot and oh geez. Just to do the podcast. But I gotta get audio in here. And I don't know how to do that currently.
SPEAKER_03:We would probably have to pay an extra premium to uh to be able to add that. So yeah, please go go subscribe to CDP Premium. Links are in the show notes. I just to help Joe get audio.
SPEAKER_00:No, I just want I just want people to listen. They're listening.
SPEAKER_03:We've had so many people come over here from whatnot. Absolutely. Yeah, there's a lot more. There's a lot more subscriptions are up on YouTube. We're climbing there. Uh people are following back on Instagram. We're it's we're getting there. We're getting there.
SPEAKER_00:Absolutely, we are.
SPEAKER_03:Yes. And we're not we're not doing it with marketing agencies. It's all I'm not gonna lie, it's all me, but uh we're we're getting there. We're getting there. But Jeremy worked on something today that's very exciting. Very exciting. So uh go ahead, Jeremy. You did the work, you you tell everybody what's going on.
SPEAKER_02:Go ahead. So one of our uh key items that we've always done is the Vegas ranking site where we rank all the courses in Vegas based on several different criteria, and we always get a lot of shit for it every time we do it. But we thought, you know what, we should have we should give away for our listeners to do it. So we're kind of in the middle of developing an app so that you guys can do that. So maybe in the couple, I don't know when we're gonna do our next ranking show, but we can definitely push this out before that, and then basically it's gonna be a link, and you guys can have a chance to go and rank it, and then we can aggregate all the data and have like an overall score of all of our listeners. So it'll be pretty cool. Maybe a week or two we'll we'll announce it, put it out on the site, and then you guys can access it, put in your rankings, and then we can give you shit for it.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, it's we we get crapped on so much for our rankings, but we have reason. Yeah. So uh what's gonna be awesome about this is if you've played a Vegas course, you'll be able to rank it based on the point system that we use for our rankings. Uh, if you have not played it, you'll be able to select I have not played it. It's gonna give you how many courses you've played, how many courses you're not ranking. Then we get all that data, and then we'll be able to compile it and we'll be able to say, hey, based on so many people that have submitted their forms, this is what the CDP listeners, what their Vegas rankings are. We'll be able to compare them with ours and we'll we'll see how it goes. I think it's a great idea. Uh, we've been wanting to do this for a couple years. Jeremy did a fantastic job. We saw the beta version of it today. It's gonna be a fantastic way for us to interact with our listeners and uh you know, hopefully bring some credibility to what we say. Yeah, we'll we'll see.
SPEAKER_02:It's not easy, and I think that most people that are gonna be in the middle of ranking the list of courses, it's gonna be like, wow, this is actually pretty difficult. And now and then they'll understand why while Wolf Creek is ranked number 32, whatever it was, 32, 24. So yeah, I mean we're gonna have a few updates when we do our next one, and maybe in the spring or something.
SPEAKER_03:We'll have some updates with Shadow Creek and yeah, because that and I've played uh what did I I got what did I get out to oh Red Rock Country Club and that one knocked off.
SPEAKER_02:Um, let me see when when was oop I don't want to I think we did it maybe April. Just looking at it today.
SPEAKER_03:I think it was was it episode 300? It was uh I've seen it. So that was November of 2024. So we'll have to do it probably summertime. Okay, and have it come out. We'll have our rankings up by summer and have it come out in the fall. So we're trying to do it every two years.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. So yeah, watch for that. We'll send it out, we'll announce it, send out a link.
SPEAKER_03:Absolutely, absolutely, Mike. Mike says, let me know when that goes live. Love to help push it out. Yeah, it should be it should be a lot of fun. And then uh we were gonna talk about this last week, but you know, Mike wasn't around. But the the Ford Hadley uh foundation uh or what is it? Uh I might draw in a blank. Uh auction for for uh golf courses is coming up soon. So what is Joe doing?
SPEAKER_02:Mike, when is what's the date whether that goes live?
SPEAKER_03:It's Black Friday.
SPEAKER_02:Black Friday, yeah. Okay. 28th. November 28th.
SPEAKER_03:Is he on he's on whatnot right now, isn't he? Yeah, good heavens. This guy's an addict. Look at him. He's Joe is is on whatnot right now. He's a fiend, ladies and gentlemen. He is a fiend.
SPEAKER_02:So goes live before Black Friday.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, before Black Friday.
SPEAKER_02:But definitely watch for that. I mean, we took advantage of it last year and got uh a couple courses in in uh Arizona knocked off that were amazing, made an awesome trip out of it. But the all there's so many courts. I mean, if we could bid on every single one of them, I would have loved to.
SPEAKER_03:There was so many that we could have tried to get, but maybe Mike, need to reach out to some like Omaha Country Club and anything else in the landman area because we're going back in May, right? Yep, end of May. Yeah, end of May. So uh uh make sure that they have something that maybe we could uh parlay that with while we're out there.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, we need to start. I've heard from like three or four people that we need to try and play Omaha Country Club. So we need to start finding some connection.
SPEAKER_03:November 25th. Uh, it is a it is a fantastic auction. It's for an amazing cause. Mike, type in the chat how much you guys um raised last year. It was a stupid amount. Um, but a lot of the golf courses donate. A lot of members at private clubs donate, you know, come play golf with me and three of your buddies. Um, there's so many great tracks. Uh, there's a lot of Vegas tracks too. We get some of the courses out here that are on there. Um, but you know, we played uh the Rim and Chaparrell Pines and Payson. Uh 102,000 is what they raised last year.
SPEAKER_02:That's that's incredible.
SPEAKER_03:It's amazing for the golf community to be able to do stuff like that. So in total, they've raised over 700,000 in eight years. Well, shit, let's get that to uh a million this year, right? Let's have a$300,000 a year. That would be just stupid good. Yeah, I can't wait to see what's on there. How long are you gonna do this for, Joe? This guy, he's he's cheating on us live. Like we're not we're not good enough.
SPEAKER_00:I am trying to bring people to the show, man. That's what I'm doing. I'm trying to be people to the show. I was live, I was going, I went live on whatnot. I was giving like free shit, and uh I'm trying to bring people over, bro. That's my main goal. Okay, bring people to the show. But you have to be here on the show. Okay, well, look, we went from five to nine. We went for shout out to all the four people that came over. Let's go. All the four people that came over. Let's go.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, bayonet on my island should be.
SPEAKER_00:Golf is the best.
SPEAKER_01:Hey, there he is.
SPEAKER_03:See, whatnot is the reason I realize I was missing the show.
SPEAKER_01:Exactly, exactly. Thank you. Thank you. Sanchez in the house. Let's go. Sanchez in the house.
SPEAKER_03:Sanchez in the house. Oh, he was watching whatnot. Doesn't doesn't follow the show, but he watches on whatnot, hops on when Joe's on there.
SPEAKER_00:That's guys, you can miss whatnot for an hour, but the main the main thing is is like you don't have to tune in live. We appreciate you tuning in live, but make sure you listen on your way to work tomorrow or tomorrow afternoon on your way home.
SPEAKER_03:I gotta get a whatnot logo and put up in here in the corner like this.
SPEAKER_02:Joe is live on whatnot.
SPEAKER_03:Live on whatnot right now, then I'll just have it flash in my game. Yeah. Whatnot. Joe's not engaging the show right now because he's on whatnot.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I dude. I gave I gave some free shit away. I gave some free shit away.
SPEAKER_03:Nice. Well, Adrian, thank you for being here. No, there's a little bit of delay.
SPEAKER_00:You'll see this in a second, but that's Nori, right? Nori. Yes. Noriega. I'm trying to, I'm trying to figure out, I'm trying to remember names. It's hard.
SPEAKER_03:Well, you you talk to so many people, I can see how it can get that way.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I know. Well, you're hiding, you're on a screen name, and then you're you're hiding you're on a screen name, and then trying to remember people's real names is tough. Like Dan, I know Dan is got paint. Go follow got paint, you know. So it's like it's a lot to keep up with, but man, it's fucking fun. It really is.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, we have to figure out some way to have people.
SPEAKER_00:Well, maybe dude, if YouTube weren't allowed, but if we could tap in to like get the audio in and run shit live, that would be sick. Might have to think about that.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, we can we should be able to share a screen and do it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah, that's true. I think that would be great. That would be crazy.
SPEAKER_03:You could do it on your laptop and open up a show on your laptop, and then we could share that screen.
SPEAKER_00:Nobody has anybody ever done that?
SPEAKER_03:I don't know.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, I don't think so. I don't know. But I think it'd be I think it would be fun.
SPEAKER_01:Uh-oh. I know.
SPEAKER_00:Mike, you tell you you sent it to me. I know. Send them over. Send him over. There we go.
SPEAKER_03:Going to legacy on Friday.
SPEAKER_00:Good. Yeah, it's looking primo.
SPEAKER_03:Did you watch the video, Adrian? That was uh it's it's pretty damn good right now, and it's only gonna get better. That course, the end of October, first week of November, is gonna be it's gonna bring back some memories for a lot of people.
SPEAKER_00:Also, Tiger played in the um amateur scene back in the day. There, yeah, it was a qualifier. Did he really back in the day? Yeah, it was a qualifier back in the day. Yeah, wow.
SPEAKER_03:Ah, right. See that? Let's go. Thanks why I'm going. Hey, when you get there and you check in, say the only reason I'm here because of Chasing Daylight Podcast video. Yeah, that'll help give us some clout. Uh first time playing.
SPEAKER_00:Well, you're it's a fun course, very fun.
SPEAKER_03:It is fun, it is very fun, and we talk about this all the time. And I I hope people understand when we say this because it gets a lot of credit for having a fantastic routing. And and if you're not sure what qualifies something for a fantastic routing, you'll find out when you play it.
SPEAKER_00:Uh, it's yeah, well, except except like after nine. After nine, it like breaks up for a second, but then you're back on it.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, yeah. Well, they got the separation. You gotta get that that north side of Green Valley Parkway or the west side of Green Valley Parkway.
SPEAKER_00:Adrian's gonna play the the devil's triangle. Yeah, yeah, let's go. About to play the devil's triangle.
SPEAKER_03:11 12 13 is is a fun little fun little set.
SPEAKER_01:Oh wolf creek fantastic. Get out of here, bro. Get out of here.
SPEAKER_03:Come on, you still got some fog in your head from golfing in the clouds comment like that.
SPEAKER_00:Wolf Creek is just like it's an experience, it's not a route, it's not a fantastic routing, it's not, it's an experience. Okay, yeah, that's all it is.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, you'll be in awe. Every hole is just like, wow, like, how did they do this?
SPEAKER_01:How do they do this?
SPEAKER_02:Speaking of how do they do this? How about the latest stuff from Jeff? Uh what's the I forgot his last name. Mars. Rodeo Dunes, yeah. Yeah, wow.
SPEAKER_03:Jeff Marsh was out there just killing it.
SPEAKER_00:Mike, when you get your invite to Rodeo Dunes, you better invite us, is all I'm saying, because you're gonna get one.
SPEAKER_03:About to take some holy water.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:There you go. Yeah, it holds 11, 12, and 13. It's called the Devil's Triangle.
SPEAKER_00:Uh Adrian, also, if you got it, also, if anybody ever plays in Vegas, you can hit us up, and if we're available to play with you, we will do our best to play with you.
SPEAKER_03:Absolutely. Anytime we love playing with people, all right.
SPEAKER_00:Anytime.
SPEAKER_03:There was an intro round last year. Did we miss that?
SPEAKER_00:No, that this was the intro round. What they did this weekend was for the I know, but he said that birdie and a kin in the house. Let's go.
SPEAKER_03:Read the screen. He said they had an intro round in the auction last year. Said we missed that.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, oh, to purchase for this year. Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Rode Junes had two foresomes last year in the auction.
SPEAKER_00:Damn, you y'all better follow beautiful golf courses. Get in early.
SPEAKER_03:Hello, Mr. Kevin Cox.
SPEAKER_00:Quick trip, quick trip from Vegas, too.
SPEAKER_03:Hey, 35 minutes from the Denver airport, and it's not through the city, it's on the outskirts.
SPEAKER_00:So and they have five, they have enough room for five more golf courses.
SPEAKER_03:All that land out there, they could put 20 golf courses. Good lord.
SPEAKER_00:I want to go so bad, but it's like, do I wait for do we wait for like th two more to open?
SPEAKER_02:I think we try the first one. It's fine, and then go back again.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, it's it's not like it's you know, this is one of the I think the most hyped up courses to open up that is not like super crazy hard to get to.
SPEAKER_00:How is it the fourth hole? That fourth hole. I don't know. There's so many that's incredible. Oh yeah. Horseshoe green. Yep.
SPEAKER_02:With that little hill in the middle of it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it dude. We stopped by when we went to when we went to Nebraska on our way to the Colorado airport. We stopped by and we were trying to go in and see.
SPEAKER_03:There's just no signage.
SPEAKER_02:I think it's so far off that road, too. That's it. I think it's pretty deep. I think you could see some construction equipment like out in the distance, but because I was looking at a lot of the aerials just trying to find that that awful gas station.
SPEAKER_03:I couldn't see it anywhere. So that guy's about to get paid.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, absolutely. He's gonna get paid. Well, when when we went in, we were like, uh, where's the golf course? He's like, right behind us, right behind us. He was stoked, dude.
SPEAKER_03:Uh yeah. We need to get the bathroom fixed, though. No, bathroom, no broke. Oh good, no bathroom.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Anybody else got anything else?
SPEAKER_00:Questions in the chat. Chat. Any questions, any golf questions? Shoot them out. I'm very excited for uh I didn't tell my wife abandoned. I was talking to uh I was talking to the homie, uh, the greenskeeper at Sheep Ranch, and he was telling me I was like, hey, we're coming back. So we might get some special treatment at Sheep. Ooh, we might have to see if we can get on Sheep. I know, yeah, exactly. He could probably help.
SPEAKER_03:What kind of special treatment?
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. Free free pastrami burritos. I don't know. Ooh. I'm just saying that'd be nice.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I can't.
SPEAKER_02:The thing that sucks about booking Bandon is it's always so far away.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, there's a great question. Throw that one on the I'm too far away from my computer right now.
SPEAKER_00:He's too he dude, he's too company, man. There you go. Actually, where can I go? Reach out to do a fitting. Need to fit low irons and woods.
SPEAKER_03:Uh so as a callaway fitter, I will tell you how you can do a callaway fitting. So on the on the Callaway website, on the top top bar, there's something that says fittings. You click on that tab, you click on fitting events, and you can type in your zip code, and it'll show you all the fitting events in the area. You can schedule a time, does not cost anything to come do that, and we can take care of that for you.
SPEAKER_00:There you go. From the man himself works for Callaway, legend. New clubs built.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, his new clubs are built, and they're working.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Last week, I uh Jeremy can attest. Jeremy saw it live with his own eyes. I did. Uh, my iron game is back. It's back.
SPEAKER_02:Never seen, I've never seen you hit it that high.
SPEAKER_03:It's crazy. It was incredible. I I never realized how bad those shafts I was playing were for me until I started hitting these recoils uh in a 70 gram stiff. It's because they're made for seniors. Uh no, they're not made for seniors, they're made to hit the ball high and long. And man, I I've it it was a it it was exciting. It was exciting to see the ball going high and like sticking on the green versus coming in low and running through, if you will. What's that?
SPEAKER_00:Hitting greens, if you will.
SPEAKER_03:Hitting greens, and I hit a lot of greens, definitely hitting greens. Yeah, I had some shots out of the rough that never would have had a chance to sniff the green that I stuck to close.
SPEAKER_02:So do they feel super light to you? Because 70 grams is hella light for iron. Super light. I was like 50 grams lighter than my shafts.
SPEAKER_03:When Julian suggested it, I was like, okay, I know I'm getting old and I don't swing it like you know uh a young buck, but are you sure? And he's like, Hey, let's just mess with it and see.
SPEAKER_00:I'm like, all right, it's like hey, hey, you're old, might as well try it.
SPEAKER_03:But in order to get a shaft that has that low kick point and high launch, it it has to be a lighter shaft because stiffer, heavier shafts just aren't gonna present that type of performance for you. Um so I mean it's it's still a stiff flex, you know. Um, it's just it's just light, and that's one of the benefits of graphite nowadays is you can get that light shaft to you know perform the way you want it to. It doesn't feel light to me at all. It feels natural, it feels you know, and and I was talking about this with Greenlee because I was telling him I said that you know, my path has changed. I'm I'm hitting the ball into out, and uh a lot more of my path is you know, it's gone from you know one degree across to three degrees into out. And he says, Well, the shaft didn't change that, you know, the the weight of the shaft more than likely helped you instead of I'm instead of tugging on it, you know, I'm letting it fall in. There's a lot a lot more so 70 grams is the Lord's weight. That's what I fit Jordy to.
SPEAKER_00:So uh I guess one of the interesting things is like you see you see these shafts, and it's like everything is different for everybody. Matt never would have thought about even ever doing that. He never would have thought about doing that.
SPEAKER_03:And that's the benefit of tinkering, you know. Yeah, I'm fortunate that you know I I play the irons that we fit to, and so I can take that head, and and we've got 30 different shafts.
SPEAKER_00:You're also able to like build your own clubs too, so that's also a benefit. Oh, that helps big time, big time.
SPEAKER_03:So and we got some some updates from Mike on this. Just found the archive auction. One accompanied threesome and one foresome at rodeo went for a pretty penny, both donated by founding board members, probably back this year as well. That uh threesome was around 2200, foresome closer to three grand. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00:But special, special, well well spent. Well spent for sure. Hey, they got an experience, man. Yeah, do you have any recommendation on learning club building? Shout out Birdie and the can, Kevin Cox. Let's go.
SPEAKER_03:Uh start start with a shaft extractor. Um uh doing grips is easy. Grips is not an issue whatsoever, but uh you can find a swing weight scale uh really cheap on eBay. Uh it doesn't have to be digital. Um the old slide ones work just as just as good and probably are a little bit more accurate because they don't rely on electronics. Um, but uh you can get a simple shaft extractor that works in a vice and uh not go crazy expensive. Uh I mean the more you pay, the better or easier it is. You know, the one I have, I think I paid$600 for it and it's it's fantastic. Um, but I started with one that was probably 60 bucks on eBay. Um that was atrocious to use, but it it got me the understanding of of the epoxy and how to break it free. And you know, it's super easy to pull a head to part if they're on steel shafts. Um, but that and then just just mess with it. Just mess with it and learn. I covet is what got me started in it. You know, I was uh I went to Golf Galaxy to get some clubs regripped and they told me it's gonna be two weeks. I was like, nope, nope, too long. Nope. And uh so I started uh the Breakfast Ball LLC and and uh started building my shop.
SPEAKER_00:I think I think that's one of those things though, also is like understand shafts. Not all shafts, like because it's a stiff or regular or extra stiff, they're not all the same, they don't all work the same. Understand torque, kick points, all that heavy in the in the tip or the butt or whatever it is. You gotta dive deep into what it is, and then you can build your own clubs, or you'll have more recognition of what you need, you'll understand more of what you need if you understand your swing, tempo, all that shit. And it's just it's a it's a guessing game, always with golf, right? It's always a fucking guessing game, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:And just just because one person, yeah, just because one person plays this shaft doesn't mean that everybody should play that shaft. Yeah, um, Greenley had a great video where he was talking the other day, you know, if your fitter is fitting you based off club head speed, run.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, leave, leave.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, because that's not that's not a great way to fit somebody. Now you can use their information to help, you know, try different profiles out. Oh, yeah, YouTube's wait Ryan Barath on uh legend. And that guy helped me out so much because I just sent him messages because I didn't, you know, I didn't want to spend 140 bucks on a measuring ruler. Um, and so he has a do-it-yourself YouTube channel where he can show you how to create a proper how to measure clubs um with a couple pieces of wood. It's it's incredible. And that I mean, that's how I got started.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, it's pretty wild, man. Just be careful, Kevin. Man, you're gonna get you're gonna be out in the garage constantly tweaking your clubs, building new ones, taking the old ones apart, Frankenstein clubs, and then you'll have a crazy box of shafts.
SPEAKER_03:I have I have so many shafts that you can sell on whatnot.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that you need to put into club heads I've given you.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I'll I'll do that when the the ball markers, the bigger chasing daylight podcast ball markers get here. No, but that's the thing, is like you changed the subject real quick, didn't you?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I haven't ordered them yet.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, but you got my money.
SPEAKER_00:Yep, I spent it on bean bean burritos. I spent it on bean burritos.
SPEAKER_03:Matt's gonna forget about this.
SPEAKER_00:No, the uh I have some hit and greens ones queued to also, so after the 5k show, they'll be ordered. This guy.
SPEAKER_03:I think three months. I'm like, sweet, it's been three and a half, I still haven't seen them.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I got a lot of money into this 5k show.
SPEAKER_03:Worth it. What's what's worth it? Did I miss something, Adrian? I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_00:Worth it, uh getting fit. No, I think he's talking about bean and cheeses. Bean and cheese, yeah. Bean and cheese burritos are definitely worth it. Totally worth it. Every penny.
SPEAKER_03:I have to go get one tomorrow.
SPEAKER_00:I'm craving it. Craving it. I had one yesterday and it was it was interesting. Very interesting.
SPEAKER_03:Something I we didn't talk about. I don't know if I mentioned it last week too, but I got a new driver shaft as well. Um, I I put the Ventus red TR. Okay, good. It was the burritos. Yeah, bean and cheese. And that held my driving so much. Um it it is it's a very accurate driver for me. It's exactly what I want in my flight. And uh yeah, so I'm pretty I'm pretty excited for this weekend. Pretty excited for this weekend.
SPEAKER_00:I'm interested in Legacy. I can't wait. I uh you know I love Legacy. I do too. I always play well at Legacy too. I'll probably fuck it up, but Legus Golf Network. I get to play Rocky. I'm stoked. Hopefully I can talk Rocky into coming over for the show.
SPEAKER_03:Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00:He said he would, so there you go.
SPEAKER_03:There you go. Star studded event.
SPEAKER_00:Any last questions in the chat? Any burning questions? We're almost at an hour burning questions.
SPEAKER_03:This is exactly right. Joe threw that cash on red. He sure did.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I gotta make it back, Mike. I gotta make it back. Took my money and ran with it. That's right. Ran with it. So I'm holding his clubs hostage. I have like I have like a hundred hats being produced.
SPEAKER_03:So good.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Check out Joe's 5K show this Sunday. I'll be posting uh on the Vegas Network Instagram page uh the links to the tournament. So if you guys are interested in how we're doing in the event, because Jeremy, Joe, myself, and Dan uh will be there. Julian as well, Trey's playing in a lot of people playing in it, not as many as I'd like, but you know, it's a Sunday, but we'll see. And we only got one more event of the year. I I gotta perform these last two events if I want to make the finals because I am I am on the outside looking in because I have played like ass this year in tournaments. So it's about to turn around. I'm hoping so. It's gonna be the first event with the new Goodwood. That butter's so good. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_00:Let's do it. Near what did he say? What? How about a BGC appearance near the auction where do it? Yeah, we're doing it for sure.
SPEAKER_03:Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00:That's a given, bro. Absolutely. Anytime. Mike's the homie. Anytime. Anytime, Mike. Anytime. You know we got you.
SPEAKER_03:Did I miss that? Where was that at? Oh, there it is.
