We kick off with Mizuno’s latest irons and putters—where sleek lines meet polarizing feel—and unpack why some heads look heavy yet swing light. From there we dive into the shaft rabbit hole: lighter Diamana builds that still feel rock solid, the buzz around Ventus White for smoother speeds, and why torque numbers matter more than most weekend players realize. Our fitting wall got a serious upgrade and it shows in the way we think about stability, launch, and real-world misses.
Then we zoom out to the long game. Graphite iron shafts like Recoils and steel-fiber blends are changing height and spin for mid-irons, while utility irons challenge fairway woods for that 190–215 window. If you top woods under pressure but stripe them on the range, you’re not alone; we share fixes, from loft tweaks to shaft profiles that help the face turn on time. Putter talk gets spicy too: Circle T cravings, JT-inspired necks, and how sound and swing weight can trick your brain into a better roll.
Plans don’t always cooperate. PopStroke invited us, then bailed, so we get scrappy and start lining up King of the Green elsewhere. That leads to a live trip-build: Landmand is locked, Lost Rail is the dream, and Omaha becomes home base as we chase private gates, river views, and perfect greens. Along the way we tackle NIL’s ripple effects across college sports—fair pay versus fractured culture—and what it means for coaches, recruits, and fans.
If you love the mix of tech, travel, and talk, this one’s your vibe. Tap play, send us your must-play Omaha or Siouxland course recs, and tell us your current gamer shaft and why. Subscribe, share with your golf group, and drop a review so more gear nerds can find the show.

SPEAKER_01:Pickleball. Welcome.
Matt:Pickleball. Did you guys see the new look at that? Sorry. So uh that is a hoodie, some jogger sweatpants, a long sleeve t-shirt, and a short sleeve t-shirt from municipal. All that was$78. Wow. Yeah.
unknown:Crazy.
SPEAKER_01:I wouldn't be buying it. Cashmere joggers. Got some silk boxers here. Yeah. Did we see what, Jay? Did you see the new Mizuno irons? No.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. New putters are sick too. New putters look good, but I think they went backwards on the irons, in my opinion.
Dan:I would agree.
SPEAKER_05:I don't think they look as good as last year.
Dan:Agree. Yeah, last year's Mizuno pros were so sick.
Matt:I just see the iceberg limited edition irons.
SPEAKER_01:Those are dope.
Matt:Those, yeah, they did a bang with the sick.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, the new ones. The M13s? No, they're the they're the Mizuno Pro something.
SPEAKER_01:M M15?
Dan:It could be. I think you're right, Matt. It is something like that.
Matt:Mizuno, it says coming soon. So they have the Pro M13, the Pro 15, and the Pro 26.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yep. I don't I yeah. So the Pro 13 looks like they've played.
SPEAKER_02:They just look weird.
SPEAKER_05:Like the design is like there's too much tech like tech going on with it. I think last year's was perfect.
Matt:Interesting.
SPEAKER_05:Everyone seems to love them. Love the look of them.
Matt:I have never liked a Mizuno putter. I like the way it looks, but I've never liked the feel of them. There was one at the store today, and I was putting with it. I'm like, this just doesn't feel what I in my brain think I should be expecting hitting a Mizuno.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, I haven't I haven't tried too many. I have I did try the one that Dan had, and that one I feel like felt pretty dang good. But they're a little light. They are. They look like they're gonna be a heavy putter.
Dan:Yeah, they're not. I think that's why they don't feel as great. Yeah, they're very light. I don't know if they come at 340, 330, or whatever, but in my opinion, I don't know. I'm biased. I always like a heavier putter.
Matt:Yeah, they they just feel a little, I don't know. It just feels kind of cheap. No, I I get that. I get that and I don't know why, because I I know it's not, you know, I know it just I don't know.
SPEAKER_05:They kind of remind me of those Cleveland putters that are sort of milled, but they don't look nice and milled, they just look they just look like they're pretty done.
Matt:Yeah, it's like hey, we got a bunch of extra steel back. What should we do? Wanna make some putters? Yeah, let's do some putters.
Dan:I'm curious though, if if this is like the stuff we get is different than the stuff they get in Japan. Because I know Mizuno is absolutely massive in Japan.
SPEAKER_03:Oh yeah.
Dan:Um, I'm wondering if it's just like the because you know how Japanese foraging is a little bit different than USA foraging.
Matt:So I'm just wondering if you know if that comes from Japanese foraging, those those putters, or if it's just probably uh there's probably a a 400% tariff on Japanese foraging compared to Japanese casting. Yeah.
Dan:Yeah.
unknown:Yeah.
Matt:Because Honda used to be crazy expensive too, but their stuff came way down in price. You know, that well, I also think that they changed their outlook and and decided to brand more to the masses instead of just high-end.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, I do think there are some differences though with the stuff from Japan.
Matt:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:Just from what I'd seen on eBay, it just even looks slightly different.
Matt:Well, that that Hanma driver that I had that I got from Jason at Swing Point, it was it was a Japanese version, you know, because they have there's an American version, a Japanese version from the Hanma stuff. And it's uh, I mean, it was so loud, so loud. I mean, like, ping, you know, uh God I gave it to my brother-in-law because he's he's uh needed a new driver, and I'm like, I'm not gonna hit this.
SPEAKER_01:He's like, You're giving me this?
Matt:Like, yeah, I'm not gonna play it. You can have it.
Dan:Matt, you would be interested in this information, but the uh Diamana PD 50TX is staying in my driver right now.
Matt:Really?
SPEAKER_05:Why was for now it took a little bit for you to adjust it?
Dan:Adjust once I kind of figured out how to swing it.
Matt:Where where did you get that build?
Dan:Uh Mr. Greenley.
Matt:Oh, he he put an adapter on it and everything for you?
Dan:Put everything on it, just put it in, put it in the club and go. Yeah. Yeah.
Matt:So you liked it, huh?
Dan:So far, uh gotta hit it some more. It's a little light, but once I kind of figured out, you know, how to swing that with a little different tempo, that thing was shooting. It goes, it's very stable for as light as it is. For light as it is, it's crazy, huh? And yeah, and that ball was coming off pretty nice and fast. So um, right now, you know, I'll I'll stick with it. We'll see how it goes. And uh, but yeah, I'm excited about it. But yeah, I'm I would never would have thought of 50, but he said, just trust me, I'm gonna send it. Looking a little light, but it's super stable. I'm like, okay, send it.
Matt:I know it helps that he's seen you swing too.
Dan:Yeah, yeah.
Matt:So we'll see. Wow, that's interesting. We have uh we've got our new matrix. We have all a lot of the new shafts that have coming out. We already have them in our in our fitting wall. And uh we had one of the new link, that white one, the US team. It's the same one that um what's the what's the uh what's the the golf ball that the revolution the Maxfly Revolution? Maxfly. So who's the guy on tour that won with the Maxfly?
Dan:This is terrible.
Matt:Oh um, he won a couple times, had a great year.
Dan:Um wasn't he on the writer cup? Yeah, one guy Ben Griffin.
Matt:Ben Griffin Griffin, yeah, yeah. Thank you. Uh he's been playing it, and and I've heard really good things about it. And Greenley was telling me about it, and because he's got them in his clubs, and he's like, it's great. And so I told Slyden, I go, We need more of these. So we got we got all of them. So uh yeah, our it's so much better this year than last year, our fitting matrix. It's so good now. It's so it's oh, I'm so excited.
Dan:Do you have any Ventus Whites? No.
SPEAKER_05:I just found out about that shaft. Yeah, what's the Ventus White? What is where does that fit?
Dan:I don't know. I think it's a new ventus shaft that's designed for players that have a little bit of a slower swing speed. You know, I think it's more like under people who are under 100 miles per hour.
Matt:I thought uh it's supposed to be uh I guess it's supposed to be like one of those shafts that just fully optimizes a newer lightweight profile and popular vintage line designed for golfers seeking high launch spin and speed without sacrificing signature ventus stability. Ventus white.
unknown:Hmm.
Matt:Interesting.
Dan:Well it's like I just heard about like two or three days ago. So I was like, what the hell is the Ventus White?
Matt:Four R so that's a that's that's like a senior flex.
Dan:Ventus is that what that is?
Matt:Yeah, I mean four. That's that's a let me see what the weight is on it. White, they have it in oh, it's 50, 50, 50, 50. 5.0 torque. Woo, that's torquey.
SPEAKER_05:That's the crazy thing about your drivershaft, the torque, Dan.
Matt:4.2.
Dan:Yeah, it's 4.2 on that P.
Matt:Mine is high too. Mine, mine is like 4.8. And uh it's I don't know. I I I don't know if you remember, Jeremy, but when we played, I was kind of hitting everything straight and right. I I couldn't, I couldn't turn that club head over. And so I was chatting with Greenley about it, and I said, you know, I've I've hit that shaft, you know, a couple rounds now, and and I said I I was able to draw it, but I just wasn't able to draw it. I said I played the new Callaway ball and it was cold, and I, you know, maybe just wasn't loose enough. Uh, and he goes, Yeah, I'll probably just call that off to golf. You know, sometimes it's just not there. I said, Yeah, because when I really tried to, I yank it 40 yards left. I said, So I was trying that on the range, and I'm like, okay, well, I'm not gonna do that, I'm just gonna aim a little bit more left and and hit it on the right side. But yeah, that's that's uh that's I can't wait to get the new driver. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, Trey Trey was telling me about this new iron shaft that is a combo of the Project X and the Dynamic Gold. Because I didn't know, but apparently Acra owns both of them.
unknown:Really?
SPEAKER_05:And so they're building an iron shaft that has a profile, like a stiffer tip, like a Project X, and then a softer, not as stiff, but from uh Dynamic Gold. I don't know what he I don't even know what they're called, and I didn't know they were owned by Accra, but Acra owns True Temper? That's what he was saying, and I didn't I didn't know that. I didn't also verify it, but let's see what the internet says.
SPEAKER_03:True owns true temper.
Matt:True temperature.
SPEAKER_05:I owned by True Temper's parent company, True Sports.
Matt:Yeah, True Sports brand, owned by Lincolnshire Management, a private equity firm. The Ames Company, a subsidiary of Griffon Corporation, while it supports equipment division, golf, hockey, and the cross, operates under the True Sports brand. True Temper unifies under True Sports acquires AcroShafts. That was in 2019.
Dan:Okay, so True Temper acquired AcroShafts. Yeah. Okay. So I was gonna say, I thought True Temper was the Yeah, that's what I thought.
SPEAKER_05:But I think the new shafts are Acra i Series. I don't even know anything about them, but he was saying they were basically taking the Project X and the True Temper shaft and binding it.
Dan:Interesting. Yeah, I see him right here. Acro i series, steel iron shaft. Yeah, it's interesting.
SPEAKER_05:I mean that, and then I mean there's been a lot of like shaft technology, like a lot of buzz around shaft stuff lately, like with a lot of people using the new graphite, like the uh steel fibers and shit, steel fiber, and then the uh UST something like that today, too. Uh what are they called again?
Matt:Yeah, recoils, yeah.
Dan:Still recoils.
Matt:Yeah, that's what I'm I'm playing those right now. That's what I have. Yeah, I went to a 70 gram stiff.
unknown:Wow.
Matt:Yeah. Oh yeah. And I mean, I'm liking it. The ball's getting up in the air, and that's one of my issues. It's getting the ball up in the air. So I just gotta get my I'm I'm debating getting rid of my seven wood and going back to a uh five, four iron, five iron just because I'm hitting my irons so much better than my fairway woods right now. I just I just can't hit a fairway wood on the golf course. It drives me absolutely crazy on the range, warming up, no issues whatsoever. But as soon as I get on the golf course, 99% chance I'm topping it or thinning it.
Dan:Wow.
Matt:So frustrating. So frustrating. Because I hit it so good on the range, it's just ah golf.
SPEAKER_05:What do you what do you carry? A five and a seven?
Matt:Uh three, five, and seven.
SPEAKER_05:I put the three back.
Matt:I had I had a I had a uh spot for a club. Um, and I because my pitching wedge and my gap wedge, there's six you six degrees between them. And so I I took uh that Cory Paul 50 degree and bent it um and made it 47 to fill in that gap. But then I was I I don't know, I just I thought that was a little silly. Uh and then I was also well, if you stop swinging like a bitch and just you know hit the fucking ball like you're supposed to, you're gonna get your yardage out of it. And a three would, if I hit it well, is way more valuable than you know uh a three-degree gapping in wedges. So yeah, I put the three wood back in. And said when I you saw like on was it before the drivable par four on Sun, what is that? Five six, the par five. Um seven, eight, yeah, six. Yeah, six, I think. Yeah, eight is par three, the nine's the last. Yeah, so six. Uh the par five, you know, I I hit my three wood, and I was 25, 30, you know, 20 yards in front of the green. I'm like, never, never am I up there, you know. The playing the different T-box one helped, but I played the different T-box and hit good fairway wood that that got me right there.
Dan:So yeah.
Matt:It's another birdie putt. I should have had. Oh no, I made that one. Never mind.
Dan:Matt, have you are you a fan of the utility irons? The UTs?
Matt:I hit it. I hit it pretty good. I just don't hit it high. Okay. So the the new the new UT, the new uh Apex UT, yeah, at Dragon Ridge when we were uh Side and I were messing around with them. And uh I I hit it I'm super straight with it, but I just I just don't hit it high enough to go at a green from 200 yards, you know. But I may crank up the loft on it a little bit or go to you know maybe a couple degrees higher than what I'm playing now in that window.
Dan:Is there a is there a weight on the bottom or is that an older model?
SPEAKER_01:In the back, I believe. In the back, okay. I think so. I can't remember.
Matt:No, there's no weights. It's uh there's the back half of it. You could probably put it different way. They probably maybe make different ones, but it's the here, let me show you. Sorry if you're listening. This is not gonna be on YouTube, so you can't see it.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, that's 50%. You don't care about that.
Dan:I like that coupon.
SPEAKER_03:Put that up there.
Matt:Oh yeah. Yeah. So I I think that this piece right there, the that back piece, maybe they that's probably not nothing that you can buy. It's probably just a fitting tool for them to to make the swing weight proper.
Dan:And what is the lofty offer?
Matt:Uh what is that? 1820 2224. 18, huh?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. It's a bullet. A bullet.
unknown:All right.
Matt:Yeah, go ahead. Dan, two iron?
Dan:It would be a two-iron, yeah. But I'm good. I got my UW 17. I like that. Have you hit the new one yet? Not the new one. I haven't hit the new ones yet. I still have last year's model.
Matt:Oh, you know what, Dan? I think I I think I still have some uh clubs left on the fairway woods. If you were if you were interested in upgrading. Quite possibly. Okay. Because the new ones are good, they spin less and it's so much straighter. Okay. So good. So good. Yeah, so Pop Stroke. I told Jeremy, didn't I? I told Jeremy uh before the show started. So they reached out to me. I didn't reach out to them. Their marketing people called me as the Vegas Golf Network and wanted us to hold an event there.
SPEAKER_02:Okay.
Matt:Okay. You know, we have an event called King of the Green that we try to hold every year. And ideally, we'd love to have it there. Great venue, great spot where people can get drinks and hang out while the other people are putting. Yes, let's do it. So she said, okay. Uh, she's looked over schedule and said, we have three dates that we could do it in March, bing, bing, or bang. I said, let's do the 25th of March. Perfect. And she's like, okay. And then I didn't hear back from her. And so today, when I was catching up on emails and everything from over the holiday break, I saw that she hadn't replied to that last one yet. I'm like, that's interesting. It's been fuck, it's been a month. Um, so it's on my list of things to do tomorrow, you know, uh, is to contact them. So while I'm out today uh at my iDoctor, they wrote me back and said, uh here, I'll read it to you. Uh I don't know why I'm hurrying. Sorry. Let's see, where is it at? She said, Hi Matthew, after our upcoming schedule, we will be unable to accommodate King of the Green as our spring schedule is shaping up to be quite full. That said, we'd absolutely welcome the opportunity to collaborate in the future and hope to reconnect when time aligns better. And I was like, Okay, after that's after she told me to pick a date.
Dan:Yeah, a month ago.
Matt:Yeah. So I said, I wrote back and uh I said, that's disappointing. I already reached out to my players and it's generated a lot of buzz. Do you have a time that works, or should we just not consider your venue anymore? And she goes, I apologize for the inconvenience. We can revisit this opportunity next year.
Dan:Next year? That's so weird.
Matt:Like wow, you reached out to me. You know? One thing if I reached out to you, but you like uh what the fuck pop stroke is like shit list.
SPEAKER_03:Fucking stupid.
Matt:So I have to uh I don't know, find a place to hold King of the Green. I'll find someplace to do it.
Dan:I'll do it at the Punch Bowl.
Matt:Yeah. We're going to Bandon. You want to be in King of the Green?
Dan:You want to pay for this shit? Everybody pony up a thousand dollars. We're going to the punch bowl.
Matt:Landman, end of May. Meet us on the putting green.
Dan:Yeah.
Matt:Go sweetens. Oh, wait till you play that putting green, Dan. It's so much fun. Landman? Yeah. It's the 18th Green.
SPEAKER_05:Connected to it, yeah.
Dan:Yeah. You know what could be cool, Matt. I mean, it is a little bit of a destination, King of the Green. I don't know if we could do it, but doesn't Black Desert have that putting course? Oh, you're right.
SPEAKER_05:So does Laughlin Ranch. Laughlin Ranch's putting green is amazing, too. It is. Huge.
Matt:And we do have an event there.
SPEAKER_05:King of the Green after the tournament.
Matt:Yeah. Talk amongst yourselves for a minute. I gotta go to the bathroom. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_05:Two people that don't talk.
Dan:We have two people that talk the least.
SPEAKER_05:Oh shit. So about your Scotty, so you're looking for a 350 Pro Platinum, but you know that they'll be 33 inches, right?
Dan:Is that the only line they came in?
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, the 33 is the 350, 34 is the 340, and the 35 is the 330.
Dan:Wow.
SPEAKER_05:I'll just take the so I mean, yeah, just pop the shaft off and yeah.
Dan:Yeah, because I got a I got a 34 or 35 inch Scotty shaft in my closet, too. So I can just pop that off and I'll have that ready to go.
SPEAKER_05:Um it's hard to find them though, like in good shape. Like you can find them all day beaten to death. I think you gotta spend three or four hundred bucks to have it fixed.
Dan:What are you talking about? Yeah. Um a uh mill spec 350 mil spec pro platinum. Did Julian geo GeoPutters has been having a lot of them lately, and there's not quite the 350, but he's had some really pretty 340s and 330s out there. So we were just talking about that.
Matt:Julian, when I was at the golf store today, somebody brought Julian a uh Circle T the Fang. It was a Fang. Looks like the number seven Odyssey.
Dan:And it had like it probably it is a number seven.
Matt:It's uh it had like a gold. Yeah. And he was sending it in to Scotty to have him refinish it, but it was fucking clean. So clean.
Dan:I bet. Yeah, they have the the seven model is the one with the was the pointier prongs, yeah. And then uh the five is the one that's more the prongs are more squared off.
Matt:Yeah, I like the five look. Yeah, yeah. That's what I have right now. I like yours, yeah. I can't. That's what Justin Thomas is using too, right? It's five.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. Does he use the plumber or the slant neck?
Matt:He's had a couple different necks on his. Yeah.
unknown:Yeah.
Matt:He had that round hazle on one.
Dan:Yeah, I forget, but uh I think he has a slant most of the time, though, I think, right? Or my trip.
Matt:Oh, it's been so long since we've seen him.
Dan:I could be thinking of uh Cantley too, because I think Cantley uses that putter also. He does.
Matt:Justin, Tom, putter. Oh, look at that. First thing that pops up.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, they're uh tomorrow. Scotty's doing their tour putters drop, the weekly tour putter drop.
Matt:Oh, really?
SPEAKER_05:Yep. And then one of them's a Del Mar Circle T.
SPEAKER_03:It's a high slant, I guess you can, I don't know what the term for that is.
Matt:So it's longer than it's longer than just a typical slant. It's probably just a custom tour only neck.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, you know, they actually did release a Justin Thomas version. That's right. Yeah, I do remember that one. It has his logo on it. 2020. I have a JT version of that.
Dan:Oh that's nice. It's almost like a flow neck.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah.
Dan:It's almost like a flow neck. I think it's a good thing.
SPEAKER_03:It seems like a little collar.
Dan:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Yep. There's nothing like that.
Dan:Look at that. Oh man.
Matt:Isn't that pretty?
Dan:That is fucking sick.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. I like that.
SPEAKER_01:I could I could do that. Probably what?
Dan:$3,000 putter,$3,500 putter?
SPEAKER_03:That's a little bit more than that at least.
Dan:I don't know anymore. I know they go for I've seen them for I've seen some for$1,500. I've seen some for fucking$15,000. I don't know. I know. There's like what is the Y? Is that a brush? I think it's a T for Proto. Oh, it's the Oh no, you're right. You're right, you're right, you're right.
Matt:What is it?
Dan:A wand, maybe?
Matt:A wand. Can you Jeremy, do you know?
SPEAKER_01:No.
Dan:Can you zoom in on it, Matt?
Matt:I zoomed in too much. Damn you, ads.
Dan:Yeah, the ads, the ads right in the fucking way. There we go.
SPEAKER_01:It looks like a paint paintbrush.
Dan:Yeah, it's a paintbrush.
SPEAKER_05:God, that's sick, though.
Dan:Why Justin Thomas's prototype T5. He played with an RBC. Yeah, that thing is fucking sick.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. Wow. I only used that had no milling at all. It has like a long neck. Yeah, I know we had one that had a round hostle on it. That was yeah, that one. The one that that one with the round hostle that's a long neck. That looks crazy. Yeah.
Dan:What's a round hossle?
SPEAKER_05:It's it's like a tube.
Matt:Yeah, it's literally like a little metal tube. Looks like it looks like a shaft. It's just straight up. And then the bucket is on top of it.
SPEAKER_02:Huh.
Matt:Yeah, look up JT prototer and you'll see it. Menwu Lee was playing one too on one of his Odysseys.
Dan:Let me see.
Matt:That guy changes putters a lot.
unknown:Good lord.
Dan:Did you see that um Scottie Cameron said that uh God, who's the guy? The Japanese golfer, and uh he drops, he finishes one-handed all the time and sniffs it. Hideki. Hideki? He says he has he probably has over 500 circle tees. Or 400 circle tees. Something like that. Yeah, I think it was 400.
SPEAKER_05:I'm sure some of those guys he just calls Scotty and I he's like, I need cutters. There, I got it on the screen there. You can see it.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Yeah.
Matt:It's so weird.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. So very, very weird.
Dan:Wow.
Matt:It's just like they cut off the top and the bottom and just stuck an extension in there.
Dan:Yeah, that's exactly what it looks like. Uh very weird. It's like they fucking customize a double bend. Yeah. You know, they have a little peg that sticks out of double band heads.
Matt:Like somebody took uh uh some some uh electrical conduit tubing and stuck it on the end of a sp, you know, and just manufactured, but hey, some people like that shit. Maybe you don't notice it. Good lord, the rebels are getting their asses kicked right now at boy in uh Wyoming. Down 20. That's nice.
Dan:So I don't know if I should say this, but I I'm gonna because I don't really care. Um we are uh the electrical department at work is really good friends with the UNOV Rebels team manager. Um, guy names Deshaun. He's been through three coaches now. Um really good dude. He says said that there's like so much separation between him and the rest of the coaching staff for the Rebels already. Not even not even 20 games into the season. Like he's like a little mini dictator out there. It's like his way, the highway, like like there's lots of uh like lots of uh uh there's no communication from what I've been hearing. Um just a lot of uh just unhappy coaches, yeah. And I'm like, fuck man, it's his first year already, and it's not even 20 games in.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I gotta fuck, man.
Dan:This is not that good already.
Matt:I would not want to be a college coach right now. It's tough because the money is dictating everything. Where before it was come here, have some school pride, build a program, do great, go to the pros, make your money. And now it's who's gonna pay me the most to come play there? Yeah, and the players are in control, and it's like, you know, before it was, what are you offering my son? Uh, you know, life mo life skills. Um, you know, are you are you gonna teach him how to be a man or or you know, is your program reputable? Is he gonna get his education? Now it's who's gonna pay me the most.
Dan:Yeah, you know, I can I can understand, you know, the NCAA made billions and billions and billions of dollars over the years. Oh, absolutely. Um, and I can understand these kids wanting to get in there, you know, because it's they literally are making money off their name, image, and likeness, you know. So I can understand that. I understand the NAL shit. But it's like I've said, ever since that stuff became legalized, like it's it's a double-edged sword. You know, people are gonna get paid and get what their you know, their money, but it's going to fucking eventually ruin college sports.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
Dan:You know, because it's gonna it money's gonna play the ultimate role in sports.
Matt:And whoever has the most, whoever has the most, yep, which is shocking that Notre Dame like hasn't just dominated right now with the NIL, because they've got more money than any school that's out there, you know, especially with you know, because they had that MBC money back in the day.
Dan:Cell TV deals, yeah, yeah.
Matt:And I mean, it's crazy.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, it's always been capped, it should have been capped, I think, in my opinion. Like millions, like millions of dollars.
Matt:They're getting more, they're getting more money to stay in school and transfer to a different school than they would if they left school and went to the draft. You know, like Kalandria. Clandria is not an NFL quarterback. Nope. He's too small, he's not that accurate, um, he's a little wild, doesn't hold on to the ball great. Perfect for UNLV. You know, wasn't good for Virginia in big east, you know, wasn't good in Virginia or ACC. So he comes here as a star. Now he's gonna go get paid, which hey, congratulations. But it's like your your football career should be over. You know, if if this was 15 years ago, or shit, how long has this been going on? Five years, six years?
Dan:Yeah, six years or something like that.
Matt:Yeah, you're you don't exist. Yeah, I mean, Bo Knicks right now. I think he's a good NFL quarterback because he got more time in college than he should have gotten.
Dan:Yeah, it's true though. He got experience at Auburn, he got experience at Oregon, he got, you know, it's well, speaking of Oregon, that's just like the quarterback that's gonna come out of their draft, or maybe. Um, Dante Moore, I think his name is. I think he's a sophomore.
Matt:Horrible, too.
Dan:He's like, yeah, he's like another number two rated quarterback, I think, coming in this draft. Yeah, but they just said too that they wouldn't blame him if he goes back to school because he'll make more in NIL money than he will in his rookie contract.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:So I'm just like they should just hold the money in escrow until they graduate. That's a great idea.
Matt:I think one one of the things I've always said years ago is like if a kid, because before you transfer, you'd have to sit out a year and leave, or if you left early for hardship or whatever, but kids that like abandon their scholarship, yep, and go hey, pay that back, get that money back to the school. You went and got paid. Okay, you left early, you made a commitment to be here, you know, pay that money back.
SPEAKER_03:But that would that would never happen.
Matt:But the coaches right now, that's one thing they're saying about the Indiana coach, he has like nailed the transfer portal, just perfectly, you know, just absolutely perfectly, and that's why they think that he's gonna be gone because it's just not sustainable. Because people are gonna figure it out, they're gonna start offering more money, they're gonna find out ways to pay more, and he's a damn good coach, but it's this is a run of a lifetime. Yeah, it's crazy times, crazy times.
Dan:I read an article today that uh said um Harbaugh's agent said within 20 minutes of releasing the statement that he'd been released from the uh Ravens that uh seven teams had already reached out, uh reached out just like fuck.
Matt:He's like, Thank you. Uh I was surprised as hell. I was too, but for him, I think about it for him though. He's like, Okay, I got all these teams that are willing to want me versus every year. All I'm doing is getting chastised for not weighing with Lamar Jackson. Yeah, so it's like, hey, somebody else come in here and try this shit right here. You come you come try this, see what you think.
Joe:Grassing always greener.
Matt:And what's no more greener grasses when Rashim is it Harris? What's Rashim, the coach for Atlanta that got fired? What's Morris, Rasheem Morris? Yeah, Raheem Morris. When he got fired, I mean, this morning, like everything on threads was just so just oh, the black man, the black man, you can't keep the black man. Everybody's like, dude, this is his fourth head coaching job. He's not a head coach, stop it. Has nothing to do with him being black, and has everything to do with he's not a good coach. Yeah, he's a great defensive coordinator, he's a horrible head coach.
Dan:Yeah, yeah. We'll see what happens, though. Man, I mean, it's pretty enticing. You're gonna have the number one pick. You already got a running back, you got a nice tight end piece, you got Max Crosby for the time being. You got uh over a hundred million dollars to spend.
Matt:Couple good young wide receivers, not fam, not you know, not top five picks, but good picks.
Dan:Part of a rebuild, so there's no stress, pressure to get out there and win now, win the Super Bowl now. You know, if that happens, fucking fantastic. But you know, the expectations are low, I should say. Um, but watch him sign Bill Parcells. I mean, there's quite there's a few names, there's a few names that I wouldn't mind. I mean, John Harbaugh would be great, it would really would be great, but like I really like Clint Kubiak too. Um, Seattle's offensive coordinator. Um, I like Jesse Minter, um, the defensive coordinator for the Chargers. Um, so but I mean Harbaugh, honestly, like he's got the resume. Yeah, yeah. Um, you know, he's not 80 years old like fucking Carol is, he's 62. I mean, Grand, yeah, it's slightly long in the tooth, but the guy wins. Who's the old Raiders podcast? Stealer coach.
Matt:Uh Bill Cower? Bill Cower. How old is he now? I thought he left early.
Dan:He's got he he did leave early. Um, I think he had some health issues as he left, but I I don't remember. But man, I don't know. He's got to be like 65, 70-ish now. I had to guess.
SPEAKER_01:68. There you go. I just I always like his football.
Dan:Yeah. And another thing, too, and I I think I've said it to you before, man, but I honestly I would love to see the Raiders give Gruden another chance. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. I would love to see that. I would love to see the Raiders. He does, man. He really does love the Raiders. He's still in Vegas, he still lives there. We'll see. We'll see if that happens. I don't know. He's those those cases that he won against the NFL might be the final straw that you know that was his last harab, but we'll see.
Joe:Now he's doing stuff with bar stool. Yeah, his speech in that in the internet imitation.
Dan:Yeah, coach. Yeah, we're gonna ball our fist up, we're gonna pound the fucking rock. Okay, that's we're gonna fucking do.
Matt:Um all right, so um I talked with um Jeremy about this before. Uh so Preston is coming. Uh, he is well, he's not coming yet. He's gonna be in San Diego and is willing to come here and do a clinic for us. Um he normally charges five thousand dollars for a clinic. He's gonna do a fam friends and family discount for us. Uh to$49.95. Yeah,$49.95. So, but we're looking at$300 a person. Is this something you would still want to do? For when$500. It would be Monday February 9th. I'm gonna uh try and talk to the guys at Revere and see if we can do it there.
Dan:How many people are we doing? Is it just a CDP thing?
Matt:Can you do 10 people spot? I mean, he can do, he said he can do two groups of five or to 12. We get more than 10 people, then the price is gonna go up. So um I go up, yeah, because more people. Bundle pricing is more. If it's if it's one, if it's one group, you know, if we do one group of six, then we could probably get that price.
SPEAKER_02:That's tough.
Matt:Yeah, I know I know it's I know it's not yeah, that's a that's 300. Joe Mayo charges fifteen hundred dollars. So uh yeah, so but let me know because I gotta let him know. Uh if you it and if you don't want to do it, it's no big deal. I'm not gonna I'm not like forcing your hand.
Joe:I don't want to spend 300 bucks on it.
Dan:Yeah, I I think I'm gonna skip out on that.
Joe:I'll be honest, I'll just tell you right now I'm gonna I'm out of it too.
Dan:Yeah, sorry. That's just on you.
Matt:You know, he he he has expenses, he has hotel room staying. I totally get it. Yeah, yeah. I totally get it. And I told him that. Yeah, it's no, I wouldn't expect you to come out and do this for free. Hell no.
Joe:You know, um I totally get that. What's the cost for a virtual one? What if I sent him pictures?
Matt:Go on to his website. Yeah, I know. That's yeah. Uh so I will see. If anybody else wants to do it, uh, since you guys are saying no, Jeremy said he's still in it, but Jeremy, if you change your mind, let me know. Like I said, no big deal. Boyd will do it. Boyd will, yeah, Boyd will do it. Imagine Boyd. Like, hey Preston, you know, I know all the star rules at Paiute.
SPEAKER_01:I think their Instagram accounts. I would love to do it, but yeah, I think Boyd would like to do it, would do it. I think.
Matt:Yeah, and I think Steven Jackson said he was interested too. So oh, there you go.
Joe:Yeah.
Matt:So I will uh reach out to those guys and see and make sure.
Joe:I'll just hit up Peeler and he gives me all the the aim point notes and I'll figure it out. Peeler. Not peeler, uh Kyle Peters. Peters. Oh, I was like, Peeler, when does he do aim point?
Matt:I was like, he's not in the PGN anymore either. Peters goes. Hey, we're up to 58 so far. We're ahead of last year's pace. So doing good. Doing good. And I'm going to I'm going to talk with uh I'll just came ahead.
Joe:I'll come hang out and listen in the background. Just tell me what's happening, and I'll just be practicing. I'll just be practicing in the background.
Matt:I'm just here to practice. Oh the the tug and the release. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02:No, I'm just sitting here on the bench. I'm just sitting here, but I can't sit here.
Matt:That is one of the greatest episodes of that show.
Joe:Dude, I was cracking up when I saw that. So good.
Matt:Oh, the one of the best parts too is when he hits a shot and you can't yell four because the guy's deaf. He's just like, yeah. So good, dude.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, that was fantastic. He hits around the back and goes, ah.
Joe:Oh, this is the best. So fucking good. Great show, man.
Matt:Oh, the pull. Oh, so good. So good. I'm gonna go watch that episode now, just cuz.
Dan:Oh, so good.
Matt:Uh Kirby Enthusiasm. Thank you, man.
Joe:Remember that. Dude, what a brilliant show.
Matt:Oh man. We watch. So we were at Emma's apartment, right? And uh we were just browsing Netflix and Seinfield popped up. I was I'll put it on Seinfeld. So we watched the whole series. It was just on repeat one episode after another. Because on Netflix there's no commercials, so it's just boom, boom, boom, one after another. We get it's like watch the whole season. Such a good show. Yeah, such a fantastic. All right, let's see. Was there anything else? Um, do you guys like the uh the low net thing?
Joe:I think it's a good idea, yeah. I think it's a good idea, yeah.
Matt:Do you have any other ideas off the top of your head? Or you think that I'm gonna I'm gonna make a video uh to put out on the VGN YouTube for everybody to watch because there was a lot of like calling out and chastising certain people and in the in the survey, and so I want to like squash, squash some of the nonsense that was being said. So uh it's interesting, yeah.
Joe:I could see that.
Matt:I mean it wasn't it wasn't hate, it was just you know, the typical nonsense stuff.
Joe:Yeah, here's the thing you get it you get a bunch of people together, there's always gonna be people that don't like each other or have something to say about someone, and that's just the name of the game. That's just the way it is.
Matt:That's that's just that's life, yeah.
Joe:But you're tied together in a in a network, you know, it's like makes it a little more, but yeah, yeah.
Matt:Yeah, uh Sean wrote if you saw he posted about sponsoring, uh yeah, I saw that GBR jerky, right?
Joe:Two bags of jerky every every tourney.
Matt:We're starting with one tournament. I don't know why he said every tournament, we're starting with one, yeah, to see how it does, to see if it's beneficial for the VGN and beneficial for him. I don't want to waste his time, I don't want to waste our time with it. Um, so we'll see how the first one goes and we'll go from there. But yeah, yeah. Then I'm chatting with Hendra on Thursday to finalize that.
Joe:Um, because we talked precision pro uh yesterday.
Matt:Tomorrow 9 30, 9 30 tomorrow.
Joe:So you got a meeting at precision.
Matt:I got a phone call with them. They I sent them a message and and uh I told him I'd say I tried the Canon. Uh I've got the Nikon right now. Uh this is what I don't like about that. That's what I don't like about this. You know, I've too many four of them.
Dan:Yeah, right?
Matt:Yeah, Joe. What is your model number? What is it?
Joe:I think it's nx10. I I think oh, it's Titan Elite. It's right here. Titan Elite Titan Elite is the one I think I still have not charged it. Still not charged. I think I got it.
SPEAKER_01:It's 40 rounds, so that's there, you're nowhere near that.
Dan:Oh, yeah, that's you're good for another eight years. Yeah, I took it to Langman. I mean, I took it to Nebraska.
Joe:Uh where else? I mean, Nebraska. I mean, you know what I mean? Like, yeah. So we'll see. Uh we'll see how that goes.
Dan:So, Joe, do you have any golf in the future or what? Like, do you got any times planned this week?
Matt:Look at him. I don't know. You remember when you in the when you're like, I'm never golfing again, and you played more golf that year? Yeah, and now that you've got two of them and they're grown up and responsibilities are taking over, your life is a disaster.
Joe:I'm close to crying. Yeah, you know.
Dan:Did you make a tea time at Eagle Crest?
Joe:Uh no, uh, and no, that's another thing, too. I don't I don't like making tea times anymore.
Dan:I was just gonna ask you, when was the last time you actually made a tea time?
Joe:Yeah, it's been a long time. I used to love like I would take the risk, you know. Like, if you don't show up, fuck it, I'll take care of it. You know, it's a charge.
Dan:I think the last time you made a tea time was abandoned. Probably when you booked the shit, when you booked the shit under your name, yeah.
Joe:Yeah, I know it's uh yeah, it's uh with an easy out if he didn't book it. Yeah, yeah. I mean, well, that's the thing, though. But you know, my life is like I might not be able to show up. It's a little different, right?
Dan:Okay, you know. Okay, so let me ask you guys this. If there is the if there is the case that we get drawn for this shit, uh the ban in 2027.
Joe:Are we already going? We're already in 27.
Matt:We're going January 27, aren't we?
Joe:Or March are we? January 27, yeah. Jeremy got okay. All right, never mind. Yeah, 27's good.
Dan:Okay, I'm saying because if we get drawn, do we go again or what? Or maybe I just book it and tell Bob, Trey, and Colby to get their ass there because they let they want to go back too. Yeah, I'm just saying, if we if if one of us gets drawn for I'll go again too.
Joe:I don't give a fuck. Yeah, if I can.
Matt:If I can, if I can, there it is.
Joe:It's I gotta get there, you know what I mean.
Dan:Yeah, well, the thing is like well, the thing is like when you book, they need the deposit right then and there, right?
Joe:Yeah, yeah. Okay, but it would just be for the one night. You can cancel within 30 days, I think, is the one.
Dan:It's just for the one night, though, depending on how many players you have.
Joe:Yeah, you got you got one room night stay and one round is the deposit. So it's gonna be like two G's probably for a group for I mean I already I already sent Jeremy the deposit. So and that's a lot of things. We're going to I think we're going to Mexico in April. And um Mexico.
Dan:Mexico's a hot ticket. I'm being there Friday.
Matt:What yeah, what's up with Mexico?
Dan:That you dropped that out, baby. Yeah, babe. I'm going to Cancun, baby. Cancun. Nice. Yeah. I've never been to Mexico except T O. Closer to the Sun. Closer to the Sun. It's uh reggae fest out there.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, nice.
Dan:Yeah, going with some friends. Going with some friends and uh got some Joe to see with me in the bag just in case. Nice.
SPEAKER_01:Pull out the tapes. Yeah, I'm going to go in there with the tape. Yeah, I'm sure it is. Everything there is you pay with American money.
Dan:Yeah. So we're staying at uh Hard Rock at uh Riviera Maya. And uh something right there by um I don't have any plan, but I I guess I could. I've looked into it. It's kind of pricey, it's almost like$400 to play golf down there. But Mayacoba's down there. Um they have like they have like four or five courses down there that are pretty nice. But Jerry's played Mayacoba. Have you, Jay? Yeah. Oh, hell yeah. But uh yeah, it's it's I'm gonna be down there from the 9th to the 15th, so six six days I'll be there. I get you. Yeah, it's it's dope. It's just it's it's reggae fest called Closer to the Sun. So like Revolution's gonna be there, Pepper.
Joe:Closer to the Dia.
Dan:Closer to the what?
Joe:Dia, right? That's all right. So closer to the soul. Yeah.
Dan:Um, that's so um, yeah, exactly. So yeah, doing that, everything's all inclusive, food and drink, all that shit. Um yeah, I guess you get like wristbands or some shit like that, and you just tip, yeah, tip American dollars. But uh concerts are out through uh throughout the day. There's like three or four venues that they've set up. Um potions right there. They got like stages at the pool.
Matt:And oh, you're gonna have some fun.
Dan:Oh, yeah.
Joe:So where are you going, Joe? Cancun. Um, I I don't know. Uh Katie's friends getting married, so sweet.
Dan:I'll tell you how it is.
Joe:First stamp in my first stamp in my passport. Oh, they don't stamp.
Dan:Yeah, it's gonna be the first time in my news passport too.
Joe:Scotland, yeah.
Dan:They don't stamp no more.
Matt:I didn't get stamped.
Dan:Uh maybe they still do in Mexico, they're a little behind. Yeah, yeah. No offense, no offense. I'm half, I'm half, I'm half. I'm half. Um, but yeah, looking forward to that.
Joe:Moca Jete as you cross, they're you're good. You don't have to stand moca jete.
Matt:Yeah. So have we, Jeremy? Have you heard back from Bob? Um, have we got figured out what we're gonna do for the the land manned?
SPEAKER_05:I haven't heard back from Bob. I was chatting with I was talking to Colby a little bit about it on the other day.
Dan:I talked to Bob.
SPEAKER_05:What did Bob have to say?
Dan:I talked to Bob. Let me see if it was on text or it wasn't in fucking also shout out Bob.
Joe:Every time I post something hitting graze, he's like, I need one of those. I'm like, I'll send it to you. I gotta send him a fucking massive bag of things. Also, do you guys do any of you guys want one of these? Yes, and this one's yours. This one's yours, Dan. Okay, I'll take one. Hell yeah. Are you gonna use all those use it? Of course I'll use it. Okay, just gotta make sure.
Matt:I have one towel that's never been used, and it's my one of legends towel. All right, so I need two more.
Joe:I got one for Bob. I might have to get more made, but tradition um bought one on my last show, and he's like, send it to a real golfer. So um I got raided the other day, and uh it was from I forget who it was, but he was like, I don't know. I you guys know I don't know what I say when I do my shows, right? Like I forget, I black out, and I was saying like real golfer, and then he texted me, he's like, Hey, I felt like you were throwing shade at or shade at me, real golfer. I was like, No, I love that shit. Uh he's like, Oh, I figured because off the tour truck was in your show. I was like, No, bro, dude, I love the real golfer shit. All I'm saying is like real golfers use caddy towers, yeah, uh, not printed all over towels. Um he he told me he said send it to a real golfer. So that that's coming to you, Dan. So I sent him uh a mini a mini knife from a OG, like whatnot, Indian dude. But you know, it was that's cool.
Dan:Well, thank you. Yeah, so I I talked to Bob, I found the thread here. Um I said, uh know anybody at Minihana or Mapleton, which I think is in Sioux Falls. I could be wrong. Um, but our private tracks that are sick. And uh Bob said, yes, and yes, uh Mapleton could be tough because it's newer, but I have a few guys I can call for sure. And I said, Well, not sure which one's better, but uh, we're gonna be out there at the end of May. Uh, hopefully by then Kobe will be settled in and you guys can mute us up uh with for some golf. I said we're playing Landman, but uh we're gonna be near you and we'll probably meet up with you if you can if you can come down a bit. And he wrote back for us what day should I be at Landman? Ha ha. Um mini HANA. Mini HANA is sick, old school. Mapleton is brand new. Um only was only open for a month last fall. Um, keep me posted uh as you guys get nearer. He goes, I'll definitely set something up and meet up to play. So you think we should fly into Omaha then? Um I think I think we should fly into Omaha. I think that was probably the the best one. Yeah, I think let me see where Minihon is. I'm pretty sure it's in um I'm pretty sure it's in Sioux Falls.
Joe:I mean that course is supposed to be dope. It is Sioux Falls. The other airport, what was it, Minneapolis is like four and a half hours.
Matt:Yeah, that's a long drive.
Joe:It's a long, long drive.
Matt:No, Sioux Falls is further north than Sioux City, right? Yeah.
Dan:Sioux Falls is yeah, Sioux Falls is south of Watertown. How far is between um Sioux Falls and Sioux Falls? Let me see. Sioux Falls and Sioux City. I'll tell you right now.
Joe:I feel like we try and find our way on a lost rail.
Dan:It's an hour. It's an hour or hour 18. Hour 18.
Matt:So it's uh and then it's 30 minutes from Omaha. What was it? How long did it take us to get like 40 minutes to get to Sioux City from the airport? An hour and a half. An hour and a half.
Dan:Yeah, I was gonna say it looks about the same distance.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, hour and 40 from the airport to Landman.
Dan:Yeah, hour and 49 minutes from Omaha to Sioux Falls. Okay. So you know, look at Minihana.
Matt:Southwest last time, right? Yeah, southwest.
Dan:Yeah, yeah. Do you guys want to stay in Omaha?
Joe:I think it would be sick if we could go stay, play Lost Rail if we could find our way on there. I mean, obviously not very easy, but if we could do that, that'd be dope because lost rail looks sick.
Matt:Is it private?
SPEAKER_01:That's and that's Omaha, right?
Joe:That's private.
Matt:It's it's on the outskirts of Omaha. It's like it's west.
Joe:Like 20 minutes southwest.
Dan:Okay.
Joe:If we can do that, that'd be did you send them an email, Jeremy?
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. No reply on Friday. I haven't heard back. No, I didn't. I figured maybe they're the holiday stuff.
Joe:I could shoot shot and I messaged someone, but uh I dude, I would love to play that spot. It looks fucking sick. Who designed that Omaha Country Club? Omaha Country Club, yeah.
SPEAKER_05:There's a few other private ones there too, and then there's also that uh one that you mentioned, Dan, it's is it Elm something or oak? Yeah, something oaks. Yeah, there's like four there. And that's only 30 minutes from Whispering Creek. Yeah, Whispering Creek. There's a river or something. Yeah. Two rivers.
Joe:I don't know if it's I mean Whispering Creek looks cool as fuck, too.
Matt:Baker Crossing.
Joe:I mean, I would love to play Lost Rail, but like I would I'd probably love to see Bob more. So whatever. Whatever we do. I'm I'm down with it. And we're playing we're gonna play Lion Man as well.
SPEAKER_05:So play Dakota Dunes again. If Bob came down and maybe we got on there.
SPEAKER_02:I mean with Bobby, yeah.
SPEAKER_05:I would do it with Bobby. Yeah. If I can if I can ask beds again, I I mean I know it's falling in two favors kind of close to each other. Bob knows someone there too.
Dan:God, Omaha Country Club looks pretty dope. It does.
Joe:That's where I want to play. It looks cleany boys. Like the ghost.
Matt:Yeah, it says lost rail, all guests must be accompanied by a member. That's the shitty part. Cell phone should be used sparingly on club grounds and not presence of others.
Joe:You should message them and be like, hey, we'll we'll talk lost rail on the podcast and just you know, just feel it out.
Dan:Free publicity.
Joe:I'm sure they need it. Yeah, they don't need it, but you know, like, no, no, thanks, guys.
Dan:Get out of here, you fucking bums. We ain't running no soup kitchen.
Matt:Scott Hoffman. You ever heard of him? Scott Hoffman. That's the architect. 7,300 yards, bar 71.
Dan:God, what's the name of that chorus, Jay? Where at? They want to know my mom. I sent it to you in the guys in the chat a while back. Something oaks. Let's see. Let's see. Check it out.
SPEAKER_01:It's right outside of Is it north or south? South.
SPEAKER_03:Oak Alhoma.
Dan:Oak Hills. They kind of carve a little course out in the trees and shit. You got some that's got a little bit of the uh lynxy look. Platte View Golf Club.
Matt:There's some peaches around there, boy.
Dan:Millions of peaches.
Joe:That'll be prime conditions too.
Dan:Peaches for me.
Joe:I can't wait for Dan to see Landman. We could play nowhere else. We could play nowhere else.
Matt:Yeah, course looks sick. I can't wait to play fucking our putting game that I forgot what we called it. Farm. Farm.
Joe:I can't wait to remember. Yeah, I know. That's terrible. Supposedly. Yeah, I haven't heard anything about updates.
SPEAKER_05:There's a Tibber on it.
Matt:Yeah. Yeah, the heartbeat will be there. That's in May, isn't it? August. August. August.
Dan:August. August.
SPEAKER_03:Where is this quarry oaks at? Why can't I find it?
Dan:I just sent you the link for it. Check your celly. Check your celly. What the helly?
SPEAKER_05:What the heck did you take down to the Floyd Park? Yeah. That actually was fun. It was that was a lot of fun.
Dan:What's Floyd Park?
Matt:It's an executive course.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, you have to greens are like bent, and it was just are there any lit golf courses?
Dan:Can we sneak in some night golf anywhere? Out there on the quarry. Oh, that quarry oak does look sick. Yeah, I'm telling you, it's dope. Look at the pictures right on the river and shit.
SPEAKER_03:To add that to the list, I want to play.
Dan:Is Katie there, Joe?
Joe:Yeah, he's home.
SPEAKER_03:Tea Times wait list. Why why don't these people talk more about the fucking golf course? God.
SPEAKER_05:Champions running out on the golf.
Matt:Champions run. Horse will open for play on May 1st.
Joe:Where is um where's that course in Iowa? Isn't it super close to there or no? John LaFoy. Wild horse. Where? I thought there was like a top 100 in Iowa. Like close to Oha or no, it's um close to Sioux City. Yeah, Floyd Park. Golf. Whispering Creek. No, I'm thinking of Golf right there.
Matt:Green Valley Golf Course is right there. Dude, there's so much land out there. It's insane. They're gonna tear up all this land. In Des Moines. Desmonds? Des Moines.
SPEAKER_05:Des Moines. Des Moines. Hieron.
Dan:Wakanda. Forever. Wakanda Club. That looks sick. There was one in the Wakanda Club.
SPEAKER_01:Waconda Forever.
Matt:No, we need to go play Harlan Golf and Country Club in Harlan, Iowa. It's a course nowhere.
Dan:The Harvester Club in Rhodes, Iowa. Number one course in Iowa.
Matt:All right, this has been going for an hour. I'm gonna stop the recording. Everybody that is listening, thank you so much. This was just a rambling session from us, but that's typically.
Joe:This is how you make golf trips happen, guys.
Matt:So if you get anything out of this, this is how you do it. Get your boys together, chat it up, figure out where you're gonna go to, golf courses, and start email blasting everybody. So I appreciate everybody. Thank you so much, and uh thank you for being a subscriber to CP Premium. Okay, so we're gonna get a little bit more than a lot of people.
