Start with a busted mic, add some real-life pain management, and suddenly the conversation gets honest in the best way. We open with insurance stonewalling a knee surgery and how Voltaren, injections, and “come back in 6 weeks” medicine keeps golfers limping instead of living. That frustration lights up a bigger theme: where golf and healthcare mirror each other with recurring costs, quick fixes, and just enough relief to keep you paying.

Then the gear nerdiness kicks in. We break down rangefinders without fluff—why Precision Pro’s speed and front-middle-back info hit, how Bushnell stays great yet fragile and expensive, and what Nikon nails with glass but fumbles with stabilization and magnets. The wild part? You can patent a slope algorithm. It’s a window into how golf tech markets features, pricing, and innovation, and why the best device is fast, tough, and distraction-free on a windy par 3.

With the tech dust still in the air, we start building a trip you can steal. Fly into Omaha, front-load two rounds at Landmand, and pad the itinerary with Omaha-area courses to hedge against flight changes. That sparks the classic debate: Bandon as an immersive golf universe versus Landmand as a bold, creative canvas. We trade stories that make the differences clear without picking a pointless winner. Along the way, we talk about content clips, a surprise putter hookup, and how to plan smarter golf without getting fleeced by trends.

We’re also growing the community for real. New Vegas Golf Network tools—member directory, live chat, and a cleaner way to share charity events and meetups—mean fewer missed invites and more rounds that actually happen. To make premium worth it, we’re lining up a monthly raffle featuring real gear and real value, powered by the brands we trust and the listeners who keep us going.

If this mix of unfiltered golf talk, practical gear insights, and trip planning hits your sweet spot, follow the show, share it with a golf friend, and leave a quick review. What’s your take: Landmand or Bandon—and why? We’re reading every reply.

Opening Chaos And Audio Woes

Matt

All right, everybody. Welcome to the after show. We just had a little argument with Joe. I'm gonna apologize for paying the show the shitty audio that he possessed us with this evening.

SPEAKER_01

Sometimes it happens. Here's Joe.

Matt

Ha ha ha motherfuckers, that's funny.

SPEAKER_01

Equipment failed. Hey, hey, so tell us all about precision pro wasn't that bad. I know. I didn't hear it that I didn't hear it like that. Oh my god, I was like okay, guys.

SPEAKER_02

I'll see you later. Peace. Later.

SPEAKER_08

Uh hey. Hey, imagine if you can't take the heat. No, I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving.

Matt

I know, I'm just kidding. Hey, this after show is this after show is brought to you by Volterin. Uh use it. Yes. What is it? I don't think it's a lot of that well. Do you know what Volterran is?

Dan

No. Is it a pain cream? Is it a lube?

Matt

Modern day Ben Gay.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. It's it's liquid ibuprofen, basically.

Matt

Yeah, it's it's ibuprofen that you rub on your skin versus ingesting your skin.

Dan

Oh it's pretty good. Wearing your skin.

Pain Creams, Surgery Delays, And Insurance

Matt

Yeah. And it don't reek. So that that helps. Yeah. Uh yeah, I was telling Jeremy earlier, uh, my insurance company decided to say, you know what, we don't think you're gonna get that surgery. So uh waiting, we're waiting for the doctors to uh rebuttal their claims. Uh so as of this very second, surgery is scheduled. Hasn't been approved yet.

SPEAKER_06

So you want to say hi. Hopefully that comes back.

Matt

Hi. Hi, Quinn.

SPEAKER_06

No.

Matt

Oh, she was imitating dad during the podcast. See, this is this is why I'm shocked that you guys don't have monitor headphones. I thought you all had monitor headphones.

SPEAKER_02

I thought well, you missed my birthday. You missed my birthday. That would have been a great birthday gift.

Matt

Oh, it would have been a great birthday gift. Okay. I'll remember that. Okay. I thought the audio visual guy would understand the importance of the body.

SPEAKER_02

I'm still waiting for I got your birthday gift right here.

Matt

Yeah. Tired boys. It's gonna be me here a little bit. What's up, Theo?

SPEAKER_02

Tired boys. Let's go. Knee replacement boys.

unknown

Knee replacement boys.

SPEAKER_02

There you go.

SPEAKER_06

Knee replacement boys. So yeah.

Dan

No insurance boys.

SPEAKER_06

I take a shower now. Yeah. Oh yeah.

Dan

Right on.

SPEAKER_07

Me too, man.

SPEAKER_02

Tell your dad to do it. Take one too. They do it too. They take showers too. Nobody takes baths in there. Okay, that's it. Say hi, and then it's time for you to bed. Okay, let's go.

Matt

I don't miss those days.

Dan

You don't? Not even a little bit. Oh, a little bit.

unknown

Yeah.

Kids, Screens, And Family Life

Matt

It was bedtime was always fun. The the reading stories was always fun. But uh growing up quick. Yeah. Next thing you know, one's living in New York and the other one's a shut-in. Everybody knows right now. Try to get a teenager out of their room. Good lord, it's impossible.

Dan

Oh shit. You know, she doesn't even need to be a teenager. My niece doesn't come out of her room.

Matt

You gotta stand in front of her door with waffles like this, you know, just waving the smell into her room, trying to get her out.

Dan

I go to my sister's house almost every day to check on my dad. Probably, you know, in the last like 10 days or so. And I've seen her probably a total of a half hour.

Matt

Right?

Dan

Yep. She comes out. She's got the setup. She's 10.

Matt

She's 10, yeah.

Dan

She's 10. On that damn iPad. All times.

unknown

Yeah.

Dan

If it's not, if she's not on her iPad, then she's got the VR on her face.

Matt

Oh wow. 10-year-old with VR?

Precision Pro Talk And Rangefinder Tech

Dan

Yeah. Yeah, she's got the meta glasses or the whatever that thing is, the Oculus 2, or whatever that fucking thing is. Yeah. Yep, she's always in the cyber world. She's never in the real world.

Matt

Uh Jonah was kind of chatty. That was fun. It's not often we have uh guys on that like to talk that much. I love it. He was all about sharing stuff. That's great. I mean, they're doing some awesome things.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

Matt

I forgot that they were partnered with No Lane Up.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I did too.

Matt

Yeah, that's that's cool. And uh that uh one rangefinder you had, Jeremy. The yeah, the random golf club, that was a precision pro. Yeah, I I thought that for some reason was uh the pins and pinned one or whatever. That one's so many now. Oh, it's it's insane. Why what blew me away is I didn't realize you can use a different algorithm to generate slope, and then you can patent that algorithm so nobody else can. It's like, how do you patent math?

SPEAKER_07

It's like yeah, it's kind of weird that it's not universal. I mean, it's not like that by whatever.

Dan

Full disclosure. I have yet to open any of those boxes.

Matt

You didn't use it when we played Legacy.

Dan

I loved it in my truck, and there's a lot of golf. Uh it's pretty good. I it's pretty good.

Matt

I mean, I'm not gonna lie, it's it's really fast. It I mean, it is fast, and the front middle back is really cool. I'll crack it up in one of these days. I mean, it I don't I I mean it's a there's not too many other features that I think are out there that are gonna you know blow it away. Um what is he pointing at?

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no.

Matt

Thumbs up. He likes he likes it. Oh, he likes it.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, no, I I the thing is like rangefinders for me have always been something I hated buying, and so I don't even remember how if I've just acquired them over the years, or I don't remember buying one really.

Matt

Yeah, why I uh went down the the rabbit hole of buying the cheap ones on Amazon that had good reviews, and you know, Fav's has one of those. Um Precision Pro, I did that R1 review. Um that was not good. Um, the bushnels have always been good, but my god, they're expensive, but super fragile, and that's what yeah, that's what I don't like about them. They're very fragile.

Dan

I mean, the one that I should give me two, yeah. Give me two bushnels.

Matt

The uh the one that fell out at Wildhorse. I mean, that thing was beat up. I mean, it still worked, it had a blown pixel, so that was annoying. Um, but it it worked still, so that's why I kept using it. And I don't know, that I just went down a bad spot of that Canon one was no good. The Nikon one is good. Don't get me wrong, I really like that Nikon one. The visuals on it are really good, but no magnet, and the stabilization is very wonky.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, so you guys remember the rangefinder where it was like you would just like like a mini binocular thing, you look in it, and there's like a line, you have to like line it up with the target.

Patents, Algorithms, And Slope Debate

Matt

You've seen the ones that you hold in front of your like this, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I was playing uh the first time I went to the PGA show playing a course in in uh the boca area. It was a private course. The the carts had horns on them. You could like press the the little step on a little button, and it was a horn. It's like, whoa, that's cool. And they had a wired range finder that was that triangle that was mounted on on the thing, and it like you pull it off and it had a phone cord that attached, and you looked through it and pressed a button, and it gave you the yardage. I'm like, this is crazy Florida. Wow, it is crazy. I've never seen a wired range finder like that. It was I feel like I was calling Dan Tana.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, that is weird. I just remember like walking off yardages, like you find the sprinkler, you walk it off, that's it. But there was no nothing in my mind about slope. Like, I'm sure I adjusted it back then, I can't remember, but and it's so crazy how precise you can be now.

Matt

You do this, if it's downhill, you do that, you know. It's yep. Yep. Yeah, that's true. It is a and I that was interesting to hear about the patent that you know their patent ran out, and then like the world opened up to range finders, kind of like when the answer patent opened up, then everybody started making those putters. It's crazy what golf does. I wonder what patents are out there that are waiting to expire. That's what we should find out. Something that's out there that's doing really well. The patent's about to expire and just duplicate it and make a billion dollars. Yeah, selling it for a hundred dollars cheaper. Yep. Oh, crazy. So, yeah, hopefully the surgery happens. Um, I really yeah, that's crazy, bro. That's that's the issue. And it's it's funny they their claims were yes, the x-rays show there's damage, yes, the x-rays show deterioration, but the MRI does not show bone death.

SPEAKER_02

So is you're getting blocked by insurance?

Matt

Yeah. Well, the the the nurse, the doctor nurse that I saw from my pre-op yesterday, she said, you know, she has a really high successful conversion when the insurances get denied and they have their peer-to-peer meeting. So not exactly sure when that's gonna take place.

SPEAKER_07

Hopefully that's true. What do they expect you to do? Go in for shots every couple months forever?

Matt

Yeah, it's like nothing they can do will make it better. The only thing they can do is pain management. And it's like, that's what insurance wants.

SPEAKER_02

You want me to continue on pain meds and you know, injections and everything forever versus getting it fixed and not having to worry about it keep you paying, keep you paying.

Matt

Yeah, it's fucking ridiculous.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's the problem, is everybody wants to treat, you know, keep you out of discomfort and not treat the problem. That's the whole problem with the whole medical scheme.

SPEAKER_07

No money when you're not coming in for knee injections. Right?

SPEAKER_02

Let me get my tinfoil. I'm gonna go get my tinfoil hat downstairs.

SPEAKER_08

Yep.

Matt

Oh man.

SPEAKER_02

But it's true, it's true. I mean, if if you ain't coming back to get treated, then you know.

Matt

You're of no use to us.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there's no revenue.

SPEAKER_03

Oh wow, I just noticed that.

Brand Comparisons And Gear Durability

SPEAKER_02

The uh the last maybe that's why a lot of golf companies don't want you to get better at golf because you gotta keep buying the golf balls, you gotta lose them. Yeah, lose them so you can buy more golf balls. Gotta lose an environment.

Matt

Gotta play the to do that though, and the the way everything's so damn expensive. Yeah. How about change? So, Mike, uh, do you see yesterday uh beautiful golf courses? Course, you know, reshared my lab video.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, saw that, of course. Yeah, here we go again.

Matt

Yep. So guess who reached out to him?

SPEAKER_02

Sam.

Matt

Guess who's getting a lab putter?

SPEAKER_02

Mike and Mike, dude. What are you doing? Mike. He knew what he was doing the whole time.

Matt

He said, he goes, he goes, hey, check it out. Look who reached out. I go, no, he did it. He said, yep. And I said, oh man. I said, uh, I said, uh tell him no. I said, I'm willing to bet you anything. He's gonna say, Well, how about we send you one? We'll fit you, we'll send you one, and you try it out. Like five minutes later, he sends me a message, he almost word for word. Well, how about we do this? And I said, Wow, I said, Hey, I'll send you one of my jailbirds before you do that. He's like, Hey, free putters a free putter. I said, Look at you, hoard out my good work to get your ass a free putter. He goes, My next uh promotions for CDP stuff will be of no charge.

SPEAKER_07

So, do you have a spike in views now?

Matt

Uh that a little bit. I mean, it it didn't blow up like the first one did, but uh still some of the same moronic comments. It's crying. It's going though. Oh, yeah, it's I mean it's it's got I think it was like 35,000 views it had.

SPEAKER_02

Well, after the the USB C charger one, I've been trying to post more to try and that one that one was pretty good. Which which one the USB C charger one?

Matt

Oh yeah, that Callaway one did great. Yeah, 78k, yeah. The uh your long drives at 3,000. Yeah, see that. Um Jeremy's bomb at 1300.

SPEAKER_03

Get some views out there.

SPEAKER_02

So I did this one. So when me and K when me and Katie went uh to the game the other night, um my uh person from the hotel that I took, he's like a friend of he's a friend of mine, but uh you know you know I don't smoke weed. I don't hate greens. I hate greens. Uh but he's like, hey you want to hit this. So I I smoke some weed inside the stadium. Uh glad this is behind the paywall. But anyway, we were driving home and I said, Can I play some of the stuff that you know some old school hip hop shit? And it's like super deep analytical. And then we played it and Katie was laughing, and uh I told her I smoked some weed with the client, right? So the kids were at my mom's house and we went to the dispensary and Katie also smoked weed for a long time. Yeah, she's this is behind the paywall. This is for the there, yeah. This is just us. It's not junkies, but it was fun though. Yeah, nobody sees this, nobody sees this except for us. Yeah, we parked and played music, discovered new music, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Nice. Hell yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, no way to do that right now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, when and when you're getting your knee replaced, you're gonna have to smoke a lot of weed. No, yeah, I've yeah, I've got your old man, you're an old man.

Dan

He's got some leftover yellow meth. Leftover yellow meth.

Old Tech Stories And Wired Rangefinders

SPEAKER_08

I've got the real stuff coming.

Dan

It's in the shoe box at the bottom taped to the back of the toilet at porcelain.

Matt

Probably it's still there. It just bonded with the porcelain. It's just a feature now. People rent their cigarette butts on him.

SPEAKER_08

Man, there's three people right now.

SPEAKER_02

It's an experience though. I've never seen yellow meth in my entire life.

Dan

Well, you're not supposed to. Where did you guys park at? Robert's parking, like were you like at a wheelchair?

Matt

Yeah, Don Tortago.

Dan

Yeah. Robertos out front. Sportsmen's. They they parked at sportsmen's.

SPEAKER_02

Smoking and eating bean and cheeses. No, we were we were in our uh driveway. That's funny.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's awesome.

Dan

Oh stop at a dispensary. Did you get like some flour? Did you get a joint? What did you get?

SPEAKER_02

We got five uh like pens back there. Oh pen hogan, one of each.

Matt

Nice. Tomorrow's gonna be like, we got three pens back there. Remember that Dave Chappelle stand-up where he's talking about I don't know how these cops do drug bust because you know it's weeds, man. 100 pounds marijuana when we broke in. I can't believe somebody left 80 pounds of marijuana here. 30 pounds of marijuana just sitting here.

SPEAKER_02

Chappelle show is a legendary.

Dan

Sprinkle some crack on him, we'll get out of here. Yeah.

Matt

Oh, I should have sent that that uh uh Shane Gillis clip to everybody.

SPEAKER_00

I said we're on back, man.

Matt

I sent Dan a clipper there, Shane Gillis uh little comedy bit where he's doing uh OnlyFans.

Dan

OnlyFans, he's oh my god was he humping a butt or something?

Matt

No, that was one of those Sybian things.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, he was on the Sybian, that's the uh oh it was so funny.

Dan

Oh his kids catch him, it's Mavic's last explaining why he's doing it.

Matt

Uh nope, that wasn't it. Where where did I send that to?

SPEAKER_00

God, it's too chat. Oh, here it is, right here. Yeah, so didn't you send it to the CDP chat or was it me? Let's see. There, I'll send it to everybody.

Matt

You gotta watch this. It's fucking hilarious. That made me laugh so hard. Oh, yeah, we need to do that.

SPEAKER_07

That's true. Yeah, true. We need to get that knocked out and on the itinerary.

Cost Of Golf And Industry Incentives

Matt

Three and a half months away. Three months at three and a half, yeah, because well, next week it'll be three and a half because that's how long I have after my surgery before I'm supposed to start playing.

Dan

So, okay, so what are we gonna do? Are we gonna fly into Omaha?

SPEAKER_07

I think so. I think that's what that's the best plan.

Dan

Okay, so we fly into Omaha and then go straight to Landman, or are we flying into Omaha and then staying overnight? I think we should go off the next plan.

SPEAKER_07

I think that. Yeah, I think we fly Omaha play day overnight. Yeah, 29th.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that was uh landwidth on like yeah.

Dan

What were we saying the 26th or the 29th?

Matt

I got on my on my calendar, I've got 27 through 31. So I know whatever days gotta come back was sooner, right, Joe?

SPEAKER_02

So that's what I was doing.

SPEAKER_07

Landman is 27 and 28. Okay.

Matt

What time on the 27th?

SPEAKER_07

What's our team time on the 27th? 27 is 1 p.m. 28 is 8 a.m. Yeah, so you can grab it. Which means we could play like Sioux City before Landman on 27th, and then we could play somewhere after on the 28th. Even in Omaha, we could drive to Omaha.

Matt

I mean, we'd have to be done in Omaha at 11:30 to make a one o'clock at Landman.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, so we might need to go to like leave because we're gonna get there. That's why I was thinking we stay in Omaha overnight or like Sioux City and then play somewhere there the afternoon and the morning, and landman, and then somewhere after Landman 28th. Yeah, that could be so. That could be on the way back to the room.

Matt

27 and 27 and 28. Wednesday and Thursday is Landman.

unknown

Yeah.

Matt

What's the 28th T time? 1 p.m. or sorry, 8 a.m. 8 a.m. 8 a.m. So it's afternoon and then morning round. So we'll be done by 11 30 at the latest because it's so fast. It goes fast. Yeah. Unfortunately. Depending on flights. What day you gotta come back, Joe?

Social Clips, Virality, And Free Putters

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's what I was just talking to Kitty about. I would so we were trying to go to Disneyland with my brother and his wife on the 30th, right? Sunday? Sunday? 31st.

SPEAKER_07

The 31st?

SPEAKER_02

That's a Sunday. But but I just asked her, we still gotta figure it out.

SPEAKER_07

So I mean could Memorial Day is the 25th, right?

SPEAKER_06

Yep.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. Maybe we could even go like 25, come back 28 evening. After Landman, we drive to Omaha and whatever you guys want.

SPEAKER_02

I'm whatever's the hard thing is, is with the two kids going to separate schools, it's like the hard thing.

SPEAKER_06

Um are they yeah, true too. So we're we have to also get my mom involved too, but hard.

SPEAKER_07

Let me let me put together a couple like three or four itineraries of days and yeah, I think we go I think what what we do is 27-28.

SPEAKER_02

If we can fly into Omaha Wednesday morning, get there by nine, drive to the landman, stay overnight, play early, which would be Thursday, and then uh play somewhere in Omaha the next two days, right? Or is there anywhere else you want to play?

Matt

Omaha's Omaha's great with me. Omaha's fine with me. There's plenty to play there. That there's a couple courses that look sick. That's it.

SPEAKER_02

So worst case scenario, worst case scenario, if I had to fly out, I'd be in Omaha and there's an airport there. Like front load it with landman and then backload it with Omaha golf.

Matt

So you want to fly in fly in Wednesday morning, go to landman, so don't fly in early early Wednesday.

SPEAKER_02

Because we got it's a 1 p.m. tea time. So if we can land at 10 at the latest is good.

Matt

Yeah. If we're not planning on playing anything prior, then yeah, uh a 10 p.m. or 10 a.m. landing is perfect.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but also if we can get there at 5 a.m., I'm cool with that too. I'm gonna go play Green Valley that part that that Muni course. Because the night before, like, we'll leave at 11.

Matt

Well, even I don't know if if Old Dane will be open. Is it have you heard anything about that?

SPEAKER_02

Uh no, but I would love to play Old Dane.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I think Jeremy, you should you should ask also and be like, hey, we're gonna be there this time. Uh you don't know the same owners as oldane, that'd be cool.

Matt

Yeah, see if maybe they can connect us like that. Okay, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I will do that. But I think front load, front load, man, man, just in case, and then you and then plan Omaha golf in case I have to come home early. Because I know it's gonna be tough and my mom's gonna have to be available and cheese.

Dan

You guys ever hear of a golf course called Arbor Lynx? I think so, is it it's just south of of Omaha? Oh, never mind. Never mind, it's a dormy network club, so it's probably private. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I would love to play Lost Rail.

Matt

Yeah. Lost Rail, you pull up, they take all your personal belongings and put them in a safe, and as long as you don't piss anybody off, you get your shit back. Yeah. Fucking the masters.

SPEAKER_02

Uh back to the maybe the best way to do it because it takes planning.

SPEAKER_06

Mm-hmm.

Matt

Hey, uh, so for those of you who are listening right now to the after show, I want to say thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Five of you. Thank you so much. Shout out to all you guys.

Matt

I I know we're we're we're still new at this, uh, we're still trying to find ways to do it. We have an idea uh where we're going to um uh announce it here as soon as we can figure out all the the ways that we can do it legally. I don't think there's gonna be too many issues because this is a premium service, but we'll be doing a monthly raffle and it'll be a value prize. Um, you know, but in order to do that, we need to get people a landman community. Um we need to get more people involved with it. Um, so if you have any suggestions to how we could entice that to make it lobamar way, let us know. Uh we you know we we kind of want to do a monthly raffle. You know, I do have connections at Callaway, we do have connections with some of the other brands that um we're we're friends with that we can get some items out there that make it you know uh worth having you know the CDP premium uh feature. Um right now there's not enough of you to do it.

SPEAKER_02

Uh so shout out Cliff, shout out Jordy. Who else is there?

Matt

Steve. Steve, so um MIDA Vegas, he was here in town. Uh played uh Pyute and then went down to Scottsdale.

SPEAKER_02

So there's three of y'all. There's three of y'all listening to us right now. That would be amazing. Honestly, thank you all so much. Yeah, uh, we've been doing this. 100%. We've been doing this a long time, and thank you guys for subscribing, honestly. Uh appreciate it a lot. It really is.

Matt

So uh I know Joe got the email because he went and filled out the form and submitted very proudly.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, okay. Let me have a proud of you. Gold star. Let me give it.

Matt

So I wanted to find a new way to have everybody do it, and it worked. I mean, I think I already got 60 submissions back uh instead of having somebody read it and then reply to me that they read it, um, because that didn't work for shit last year. Uh now you can read in at the bottom, you just click I agree to the rules and hit submit and done. Uh so that's nice. And then I I created a new platform for everybody to communicate with in the VGN. So if you go on there now and you're logged in, you go to the members page, there's a chat, there's a new directory, um, and it's a little bit more user-friendly. So I even got Greenley involved in it. I I bugged him today about it. And uh chat today. Yep. So he's he's involved. So uh it's a just trying to add to the networking side of the Vegas Golf Network. So we'll see if it adds any value. I know I have a bunch of guys asking, people send me stuff all the time, like, hey, can you let everybody know about this? And I'm like, yeah, sure. And then I totally dropped the ball. Uh, so this is a way because like Denny had a uh charity golf tournament for the high school that his kids go to, and and I'm like, Yeah, I'll share it. And then he was up here getting some clubs done. And I I said, he goes, Oh, yeah, we had that tournament the other day. And I'm like, I go, Oh my god, dude, I am such a dumbass. I said, Will you please just remind me? I'm so sorry. And he's like, No, he goes, Don't worry, it sold out, we were good. I said, All right, good. Um, but there's other I know there's other things like that that people want to share and and post with, you know, they want to network within the network. So now there is a a little bit easier way to do that. I got rid of some of the redundancies, and instead of making a page that clicks to a page, I just made a drop down to that page. So it's a lot a lot easier to use now and a lot less confusing. So hopefully that works.

SPEAKER_06

Hopefully that works.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah. Yeah. Uh and then I don't know. You got anything else? Got anything else?

Trip Planning: Landmand And Omaha Golf

Dan

Just excited for this landman trip. Yeah, I can't wait.

SPEAKER_02

Honestly, I can't Jeremy's quantum. I'm very excited. I I I cannot wait for you to see this place. Yep, I'm looking forward to it. It's so good. I was talking to who was I talking to somebody the other day. I can't remember. Um, but they said Bandon or Landman. And I was like, watch yourself. Okay. It's very difficult. Very difficult question.

SPEAKER_03

It's not difficult.

SPEAKER_01

If Landman had four or five other courses, yeah, even another one in a short course.

SPEAKER_02

Bandman is or land or Bandman is an experience and Landman is a golf course.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's I would agree with that statement.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

Matt

So yeah. I think what makes for me, what makes Landman special, because I mean I wasn't you guys could have can tell by how I respond to a lot of shit. I it it didn't blow me away. I mean it it's but I think the what is unique about it is you know where they did it at. The fact that they built that golf course where they built it, and that it's that it's that good is pretty freaking special.

SPEAKER_02

The uh it's so for me, like band band is golf as it was meant to be, and landman is golf is is meant to be you. Nah, I don't like that. I mean, I didn't have a lot of time to sit on that, but it's like can we wear can we wear t-shirts? Can we wear t-shirts? Yes, absolutely. But can you wear t-shirts? Yes, go wear your t-shirts, go play golf, enjoy yourself. That was I just I can't wait. Dude, Dan's gonna have the best take on it. I can't wait.

SPEAKER_09

I'm looking forward to it.

SPEAKER_02

That Nerenza.

Matt

And playing some farm because we haven't played farm since fucking. I forgot.

SPEAKER_02

I forgot all the rules. I already forgot all the rules.

Matt

So it's got a note. I'll get it from him.

SPEAKER_02

No, I think it's a great golf course. I can't wait. I'm so stuck.

Matt

Yeah, we're gonna have to.

SPEAKER_09

You like all those courses better than you liked any of the courses that abandoned.

SPEAKER_02

I think dunes are. I know you have Pacific Dunes and high regards.

SPEAKER_07

I kind of would say Pacific Dunes is my second favorite course.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, okay. I kind of would say so as well.

Matt

That you like Landman over all the Bandon courses? I don't know, you didn't shed any tears at Landman.

SPEAKER_02

No, I know, I know, I know that, but I think it's uh it's a hell of a golf it's a hell of a golf course. It's a hell of a golf course.

SPEAKER_07

It's a creativity, it's a canvas for a creative artist. Exactly. It's a it's a Bob Rosser.

SPEAKER_02

It's a bit it's a Bob Rosser.

Matt

Yeah, yeah. I I can agree with that. Yeah, it's I mean the like I said, the fact that they sat there and saw that in their brain on that land is impressive. And then when you're around the greens, yeah, yeah, not only saw it, but then made it. You know, that's yeah, that's the feat there because you can see it, but being able to see it and make it that's special because like that's Tom Doke.

SPEAKER_02

Tom Doke sees shit, but then he makes it. It's one of those things like for me, like Dan's never been to Landman, like Jeremy had never been to Bandon, and I wanted to see Jeremy at Bandon. Now I want to see Dan at Landman share the experience. Like, I want to see it through your lens now, which it's fucking sick, dude.

Matt

You're gonna you're gonna overhype the shit out of it too much.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no, no. Well, that's you. You you love being overhyped and then shitting on Cabot Cliffs. Shitting on the Calot Cliffs. Dan will get it. I'm not worried about Dan not getting it. He'll get it.

Matt

It's so funny. We uh we uh he'll get it. Uh we had pretty good legacy.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, you want to go to Cabot soon? Cabot Cliffs? You down for Cabot Cliffs? Worst course ever.

Matt

A lady that had a Cabot head cover, and I was like, Oh, when were you at Cabot? And she's like, She said, uh, she goes, I'm from Nova Scotia. So oh yeah. So I talked to her about it, and uh she we kind of had similar opinions. So you ever been to Oak Island? I told her, you know, we I I really found anything there. Almost they're close.

SPEAKER_02

Lot five, they've been close for seven years, bro.

Matt

That rock, as soon as they get that rock out, the show's gonna change. The show will change. Oh, wait, is it oh half hour till it comes out?

Dan

Yeah, it's a show, yeah. Yeah, the new show tonight.

SPEAKER_02

I gotta watch a couple years, but they're they've been close a long time, and I hope they find it. I really do.

Matt

They gotta stop drilling them damn holes. I'm sick of the fucking drilling the holes.

SPEAKER_02

They gotta stop renewing the seasons.

Matt

Oh wow, yeah. Hey, that's exactly what it's like. They know it, they know here it is, right here.

Dan

Seriously, they just need to dig like a hundred-foot hole in diameter and go down about 300 feet, and that's it. Put a finding at 300 feet, 100 feet wide, then fuck it.

Matt

You'll have to find it. Put a hundred-foot brick wall all the way around it, drain it, and then just surface mine the shit out of it until he finds that.

Dan

Yeah, seriously. Like, I could have found this shit like four seasons ago.

Matt

Ugh.

unknown

Yeah.

Matt

Too funny. All right, gentlemen. Alright, guys. That'll do. That'll do, pig.

Dan

That'll do, pig.

Matt

Have yourself a fantastic evening and uh support for you.
