A long neck putter shouldn’t feel like a life decision, but somehow it is. We start this after show in full gearhead mode, breaking down why a more face-balanced long neck can tighten your start line and make your stroke more repeatable. Matt talks through testing sessions with data, why pulling lead tape changed his tempo, and how brutal punched, sanded, watered greens can expose what’s real in your putting and what’s just “normal conditions.”

Then we shift into golf club fitting reality, including the kind of range interaction that makes every fitter wince: a player convinced he needs a 47-inch driver who blames the club after a few ugly swings. It turns into a straight talk moment about shaft length, strike pattern, expectations, and basic fitting etiquette. If you’ve ever wondered why a driver fitting goes sideways, this story nails it.

We also hit budget golf gear that performs, including Maltby putters that feel way above their price, plus a quick detour into “zero torque” curiosity. After that it’s wedges: why certain wedge flex shafts can feel whippy or “late,” how stiffer profiles can clean up contact, and what we’re swapping next. Along the way we talk Garsen grips, sponsorship momentum, and how community golf culture spreads products faster than traditional marketing.

And yes, we finally address the question no one wants to ask on the first tee: what’s the best plan when you have to go on the golf course? Listen through, then subscribe, share it with a golf buddy, and leave a review. What club change or on-course rule would instantly improve your next round?

After Show Kickoff And Putters

Dan

Fucking paper mache glue on it and all of it.

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to the chincing daylight after show. That is that is a fun voice.

Matt

I have to admit.

SPEAKER_00

What is up, everybody? I have a putter addiction.

Matt

Oh yeah, the the so the Olsen, the long neck is is gonna stick around for a little bit.

Joe

Ah, we'll see. We'll see.

Matt

You are also long neck. Yeah, yeah. I did uh I did some testing the other day, just you know, shooting the shit out back with the the vertex software, and um you struck that one the best.

Joe

It was made for you, yeah.

Matt

Of course, yeah. Uh it um yeah, but I basically the stats with it and the and the goodwood, my normal Goodwood blade, they were close, but I was way more consistent with a long neck. Um it doesn't allow because it's more face balanced, it doesn't allow me to to arc it as much, you know. The the feel doesn't allow the arc to take over, and so I I square it a lot more frequently and a lot more consistency, consistently. My tempo with it was because it's I took the lead tape off the bottom because I had a lot of lead tape on the bottom of that thing to get it to what I thought felt the best. Um, and I took all the tape off, and my tempo just got dramatically better. And uh I was mad because then we get so high and the greens were punched and sanded and watered. But apparently, Jeremy is a fucking phenomenal putter on punched, sanded, and wet greens. He tore it up. Really good. I'm a pretty good putter, I'm a damn good putter. Yeah, and that wasn't even the soundbite. Uh never stained in the bag.

Joe

I just testing out uh private chat.

Matt

Hey, it's it's it's in the bag right now. I I played it at so high, it's gonna be in the bag at Paiute, and uh we'll see how it goes, you know. Like I said, I um I I like the consistency that I saw with it.

Joe

So I'd really love to unleash this uh button back champs choice, but it's always sitting there and tempting me. I can't do it, but do it.

SPEAKER_01

Why not?

Joe

I mean, tools non-jools, yeah. I know it does, even through the plastic. I know. But I mean, are you have too many putters?

Matt

Do you want to? I mean, are you gonna hold on to it forever or you're gonna sell it? Is that why you don't want to use it?

Joe

No, I'm gonna hold on to it for uh quite a while. I'm um that's the plan. Yeah, I'm gonna do it. Well, does it matter? I love my stroke skein though, too.

Matt

I mean, I totally, if you were gonna sell it, I would say, yeah, keep the plastic on and and keep it in the house, but no, I just I mean, even if I use that, I'll probably just go back to the roarers putter, you know, like that's my go-to.

Joe

Like I have my uh pro platinum, I have my uh what is it, Studio Select, right? I always forget the name of that one, and then the terillium is coming back home, so who did that terrilum? Jet Jet, Jet. Oh, not a bad one, but it's like yeah, I I mean maybe this like I would love to play it, but like I don't need to, so that's the problem, you know what I mean? I don't need to, I don't need options like Matt. I don't need too many options. I already have way too many options, you know. No, no chance. I mean, I fluctuate between the the Pro Platinum and the Strokes Gain Butter. Like I mean, and I have the long the long neck Goodwood. I want to bring it out all the time, but it just feels heavy to me. So um, yeah, it's just I don't need to add another option, you know. I'll pull one out, play it, and then next time I'll bring out the strokes gain is the go-to. Shout out Roars, you know. It's just like sometimes I might have to feel something a little different, and then next time I go out with the the the Roars putter, I put very well, so it's that's my putter. That's that's my putter, you know what I mean? Yeah, but the the champs choice feels amazing through the plastic, and I would love to try it, but you know, I get a hold on to it.

Matt

You're gonna have phenomenal conditions at Paiute, so you know that would be a great place to break it out.

Joe

Yeah, it's also not gonna help me putt any better, you know. It's it's the it's not the wand, it's the witness.

Matt

It's a motherfucker, you get a lot of it.

Joe

Yeah, I'm gonna be like, hey, I got this hole gets really wide. But the confidence comes from my my strokes game putter. I don't, I mean, I mean, that's you know, that's my wand. Dan, you still got I am Harry. I am Harry, and that's my wand. Do I sell my what?

Matt

You still got the Scotty, same one that has changed, have you sold it this week?

Dan

No, uh you never know, but for now it's Saturday.

Matt

Jeremy, what what are you playing Saturday?

Joe

Yeah, yep, it's working. Dude, I love looking at it. The triple black long neck. That's what you've been playing, yeah. For a few months. Yeah, very nice. I like that butter. I like that butter.

unknown

Yeah, yeah.

Matt

I took all the weight off and I was shocked at how better my stroke got. You know, here I am in my mind. I've always liked a heavy butter.

Joe

Well, you're a master fitter now, too.

Greens Conditions And What Changes

Matt

So you know, some things have changed in my life. Master fitter. Uh yeah, but no, I I like I said I took it out back and and I had it, the Goodwood and the Jailbird. And I was just, you know, I I hit 40 puts with each and analyzed the data, and uh, it was just crazy super consistent. So I said, what the hell? So I put it in the bag and and I loved my stroke at so high, just I could not get the speed because it was so fucking slow. And just it was slow out there. Oh, yeah. Did you not hear they they were punch, sanded, and watered? Oh, yeah, yeah, they were rolling at like sixes, sevens. Uh I don't know if they were that slow. No, they weren't that slow. It was it was like an eight, probably.

SPEAKER_05

Eight to maybe push a nine in some areas, but I mean the the putting downhill ones were still like you could still lose them, yeah, still could lose control. And the uphill ones were like sixes.

Joe

They finished the nine fairway, right? Last time I was out there was like the nine fairway was wrecked. Oh, yeah. They're done with other renovations, right?

Master Fitter Driver Range Rant

Matt

Oh, yeah, yeah. It's yeah, the course from T to Green is phenomenal. Just the greens, and the greens in two weeks they're gonna be perfect, so yeah, yeah, just that time of year, which is crazy because it's member member season, you know. Sidon won the Dragon Slayer event at Dragon Ridge. You know, Red Rock just had their yeah, and uh everybody Red Rock's got theirs, TBC's got theirs, everybody's doing it's member member season like crazy. So yeah. Member member season is member member member member, yeah. So my my fitting rant. We had we had this guy come up to us at Las Vegas Muni, Las Vegas Golf Club, right? And uh you could tell he was new to the game, right? Um and he's like, Oh yeah, I want to check out one of the new drivers. And he goes, Do you got 47-inch shafts? What we're like, no, and he's like, Oh, I play a 47-inch driver, and Julian just we kind of looked at each other like, oh god, right? And we're like, no, our our our shafts are you know 45 and three quarters. Um, that's pretty standard. Um, he's like, Oh, okay, well, let's hope I can hit it. And he like heeled, shanked it, you know, to or like it went left off the heel, right? Like 20 yards in the air, and then bounced left all the way to the left side of the fairway of the range. Did it two more times. He's like, dude, this thing is trash, right? He said that, and I was like, he's like, I just I said, Well, if you're swinging 47, it's gonna take you a couple swings to get used to swinging singing swinging something that's you know an inch and a half shorter. He's like, inch and a half. He goes, You said it was it was uh uh 46 and three quarters, because that's four inches. He goes, I can't hit this thing if it's four inches short. And I'm like, no, you said 47, these are 45 and three quarters, that's an inch and a quarter shorter.

SPEAKER_00

No, that's four.

Matt

And I was like, Oh, okay, he's like, Oh, I'm I'm confused. Oh, never mind, never mind. And so then he hits it again and can't get it in the air beyond you know 15 feet. He's like, This thing sucks. And I'm like, Well, if you're gonna continue to talk shit, that can be your last swing. And he goes, I think it is gonna be my last swing. And he looked at me and he's like, What do you care for? It's not like you work for Callaway, and I go, actually, I do.

Joe

Actually, I'm a master fitter.

Matt

He goes, Oh, oh, and he hit one more, and he goes, Yeah, no, and so then he goes and gets his driver. It's uh what was the Malpe. Malpy, it was the Taylor May that had the orange and white top, R1, R1, yeah, and so he hits it and he sends it down the middle, and he's like, Yep, knew it was the driver. R15, R15, I think. Yeah, R15, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I knew it was a driver, right? And then I was like, I just went and took the other one away from him so he couldn't hit it again, you know. He's like, Hey man, I wasn't talking, I wasn't, I didn't mean to be disrespectful. I'm like, no, dude, it's all good, don't worry about it. I I hear shit all the time. You're good, you know. Gave a little fist bump. It's like, hey, if you're gonna come get fit, don't talk shit about the equipment until you're gone. Yeah, you don't like it, keep it to yourself. There's other people there that were trying to get fit, and it's like, good lord, man.

unknown

Yeah.

Joe

Did you was the driver actually that long? I didn't care. I didn't even look there. She got the the tape measure out and actually measured it.

Matt

Probably uh no, he's just comfortable with what he's swinging.

Joe

That's yeah, yeah.

Matt

People, people. Yeah, there's a there's an eclective group of individuals out there. Oh yeah. There was a group of there was a group of deaf people. And what's that? Uh there was a group of deaf people on the range, like a group, yeah.

Joe

Death, deaf people, death, and and they were they're dead.

Matt

I'm I'm I'm trying to hit balls, and Julian's like, oh my god, it's a group of deaf people, and you just hear and I probably nice, and then Julian's like, you're going to hell, man. It's like, don't you laugh? And I'm like, I can't help it.

Joe

Do you like the feel of that one?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, it was what's it sound like?

Joe

I mean, but it feel feel comes a lot from the auditory, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's a good so yeah.

Matt

Yeah, you need to feel this the Maltby.

Joe

60 bucks is what your discount is.

Matt

That's what my costonom is.

Joe

You shouldn't just said that.

Matt

Yeah, no one's gonna listen.

Joe

So what so what are they 120?

Matt

Uh let me look at the website.

Joe

See golf works. So I'm gonna have to order just a couple and try them out. See what happens. Shout out Roger, Roger Malpe.

Dan

Legend Malpey Sausage Golf.

Joe

The next Scotty Cameron.

SPEAKER_05

Uh you've had that putter for like years, right?

Matt

Yeah, yeah.$89.99 is what they start at, Joe.

unknown

$89.99.

SPEAKER_05

Sure, they have a zero torque option.

Matt

Oh, they do now, yeah. Oh, the multi pure track PTM 5 plus. It's chrome. Fuck. They have a black one too.

Joe

How quick do they ship?

Matt

Really fast. Well, not that fast because they have to assemble them.

Joe

They have a zero torque option, yeah.

Dan

Joe's thinking.

Matt

Well, it's just a center-shafted big mallet. They're 160. Joe's got some one round ideas. That's retail. Let me. Oh, I don't want to talk about my thoughts on this.

unknown

Yeah.

Matt

Yeah, but no, this one I got in my hand. Uh, yeah,$89.99.

Joe

Yeah.

Matt

And it's, I mean, it's solid. Joe, Jeremy's butter with it. It's it's it's solid. It feels better than a$60 butter. Totally. I mean, it's$90 butter. One piece milled. Yeah,$90 butter.

SPEAKER_05

Maybe, maybe like feel, I would say like$200 put.

Matt

Yeah, totally. I mean, because you know who got this first? That Jesus.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, okay.

Matt

Well, Tyler Munds. He got one and uh made it a long putter and was trying it, and he couldn't believe he was like, dude, this thing feels amazing. I sent a message. I'm like, shut up. He's like, no, seriously. I'm like, I'm ordering one. Yeah, that's I mean the face billing's good, it's solid, it's you know.

Joe

Well, I gotta get it, I gotta really try and get up there this week. I had the clubs in my car today, just there's a billing issue at work, so maybe tomorrow or Thursday.

Matt

I've got I found three sets of wedge shafts that match. I got uh um a KBS 120 uh wedge set, I got a dynamic gold 115 wedge flex, and I got some no wedge flex, no, no wedge flex.

Joe

That's what's in there right now is the wedge flex.

Matt

And you don't like that?

Joe

No, no, so just what do you think is wrong with it?

Matt

Which ones are they?

Joe

Just whips, they're the dynamic gold wedge flex 115s, or s200s, probably.

Dan

Yeah, it says wedge on it, but yeah, you probably just need an S300, Joe.

Matt

So I'm we found out the S200 wedge shafts are 100 and what was it, Jeremy? Are they s200s or they wedge?

Joe

Almost 130. Yes, they're almost 130. Well, mine say wedge on them, yeah 115.

Matt

Yeah, Jeremy's well, Jeremy says wedge and it says s200, and they're they're 130. Just the wedge flex. One well, it says 115.

Joe

So, yeah, it's probably just like whatever they did this year to you know, Taylor made mg5 stock shaft, like yeah, throw these in there.

Matt

Well, the vokey were we were shocked that the Vokies they're heavy, they're it's a good wedge flex.

Joe

I don't like the wedge flex Vokie shafts. It's the thing is is like with my 50 and 54, I can I can feel it bend like I'm going down it, I can just feel it like behind my swing. So like I think a s200 would be cool, but not like a wedge, because it says wedge 115. I think it's just like way too flee in the in the center of the shaft or like at the tip or something, because it just feels like it doesn't I hit everything fat, so I think it's just late to the party.

SPEAKER_05

That's strange.

Joe

Yeah, yeah, like I cannot, I cannot, I cannot go like my 50 degree, I cannot go full swing at that. If I do, I'm hitting it too.

Matt

I have one S400, so we can put that in the 50 for sure.

Joe

Yeah, and then maybe those are 54. I don't full swing, I typically don't full swing the 54. I think the 60 is okay. I could probably use something a little stiffer, but like a hair, but um, yeah. Well then what I got other shit too, so I know I gotta I gotta yeah, I need some pickup all this shit too because driving all the way up there, man. It's way too far.

Matt

Oh my god, wait till you see the invoice.

Joe

You're gonna you're gonna get paid in November.

Matt

I haven't got paid for February, March, or April.

Garsen Grips And Guest Connections

Joe

So those invoices are just sitting there going, uh, maybe someday it's all the Garson money that's just sitting there chilling.

Matt

I don't have it.

Joe

What what was the update on our uh grip totals? Well, that that's what Andrew said is he's using all that money for the grips, yeah. Which is nice because then we can just collect it. How many grips do we have coming though? How many did you?

Matt

I think I I think we did 50 this first first one. I told him I didn't want to do 100 and be stuck with 50 grips.

Joe

What's the cost on them? Did he tell you? Well, we don't have to talk about that, but yeah, it was a while ago. Yeah. But we were at like six, we were at like six hundred. Shut out everybody, rep and garsen.

Matt

Yeah.

Joe

So they're happy.

Matt

I talked about today.

Joe

Um, he's yeah, and I think I got like six hundred towards it too.

Matt

I I'd have to like think about it, but they uh um he called me today and said they have some some people that they're sponsoring in the golf space that are uh golfers, like Corn Ferry and Epson Tour and stuff like that. And he's gonna send me a list to try to get them on the show for some interviews. Oh, really little uh Garson connection, yeah. Uh golfers in the golf space.

Joe

So I'm telling you, bro, I pop on whatnot, and every time there's a Garson grip, I get tagged. Every time that's good.

Matt

So in the word out.

Joe

Yeah.

Matt

No, I had I sent Andrew a message. I'm like, hey, I need a favor. I need I need a ultimate grip. Um, I'm out, and I don't want I only have one that's 17. I don't want to use it. Um, so as I want to put it on the long neck because I really love the way this feels. Yeah, I have one of those on the Goodwood.

Joe

Um you have a Tony Fee now on your Goodwood?

Matt

Yeah. It's a different one though, different one that they did. Not that one. No, it's it's green and and white. So he's sending me a couple of those. So I can put one on the on the longing neck for Saturday. It's exciting.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

Joe

This is the one Bush one. He said sell it on your show, so I gotta take that downstairs.

SPEAKER_00

The max. That's the max.

Joe

I mean, they are for sure blowing up. It's interesting how they're, you know, like community, community golf podcast. They they they're sponsoring them or helping them. I don't know, but um what their deal is, but they're getting their word out. The Garson is doing their thing.

Matt

It's I mean a different era. I mean, Bernie's been doing this for so many years and really never had any great traction. So at least now I mean the millennium is out there everywhere. Yeah, I mean, I mean, it sucks that I'm not seeing more tour players playing it. That would be that would be a a big push right now for them. I mean, because out of it, Tony Finale got out of it.

Joe

Um, yeah, now they're now they're not playing as well either, though. So well, Tony Fino's never played well. He's never put a stretch, he had a stretch where he's playing pretty decently. I mean, Tony had a stretch where he was playing pretty damn good and he was close to winning, but like back to back tournaments, I think. Yeah, back week, yeah.

Matt

That's when he was putting with a blade and a pareti blade and a Garson grip, and now he's in a ping zero torque.

Joe

Exactly. Exactly. We should they mean to say that hey, go back to the paretti and the garsen grip. Boom. Hey, remember when Tony Finaut won back to back? He had a Garsen grip in his hand, yeah, the Garson grip.

Matt

Oh that that guy missing his eagle putt with a lab putter from a foot was hilarious. So bad. That video I sent. You didn't see it, Jim?

Joe

No, I I don't even I'm just immersed fried right now. I'm in immersed. Immersed fried right now.

Matt

Oh hey, just think in 15 years it'll all be better. But you gotta you gotta get through June.

Joe

If I live that long.

SPEAKER_00

You gotta get through June.

Joe

June.

Matt

Yeah, that's baby making month for you. You get through June.

SPEAKER_00

You're okay.

Joe

Yeah, we're good.

Dan

Uh oh. Baby making month for you. That's June. Honestly, yeah.

Joe

I mean that I mean that potentially after Landman, that's you know, free and clear, land man, uh new new me, potentially, yes, of course. Upon the arrival home, that's potential, but no, we're watching out.

Matt

Okay, he's like, I love it when you go to land man.

Joe

We got the land man. You're about to have twins.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god.

Dan

I'd never see Joe ever again. All right. Like Joe don't play golf now. Shit. I know about 18 years, Joe. I'll invite you to Bandman when we book it.

SPEAKER_00

Matt's 70th birthday.

Joe

Oh wow.

SPEAKER_01

70th birthday celebration at Bandon. First time we've seen Joe.

Joe

It was supposed to happen at 40. It took 30 years.

Matt

Oh my god. Isn't that crazy? In 17 years, I'm gonna be 70.

SPEAKER_01

Look at Jerry.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, that is that is not right. Right?

Joe

Doesn't seem right at all. Jeremy Hislap comes out. First one.

SPEAKER_05

And then you'll be still print printing random stickers. It'll be oh my.

Matt

And then there'll be a holographic sticker that you can actually get a uh you know, Dan's video.

Joe

Hey, I'll still switch in putters.

Dan

Still working for Callaway.

SPEAKER_00

Still working for Callaway.

Dan

Got Sidon's job at 70.

Joe

Best friends with Eli Callaway.

Dan

Oh man. That's awesome.

Matt

That shit started. Hey, once you you I mean you hit the 40 mark, it's brainwaves start thinking differently. Oh yeah, right now. Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

Matt

Start to get scared. Yeah. Like maybe I do need to have a retirement plan.

Joe

Yeah.

Matt

Yeah.

Joe

Maybe maybe I should invested more in my 401k. Right?

Matt

Damn, motherfuckers were right when they told me that shit 25 years ago. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh man.

Matt

Uh so for Saturday go I let's see. I may, I don't know, I may move you up to my group just to fill void spot and just so we have to.

Joe

As long as I play with somebody I know. I mean the last group I played, they were cool. I forget who I played with, but they were cool. I was happy to see I was at least with Stevie Jacks.

Matt

We might all four play together the last three tournaments of the year. Fuck everybody.

SPEAKER_05

I noticed you said you're gonna collect first.

Joe

Yeah, put us four out first, and then yeah.

Matt

Yeah, that's what I'm uh you know. Once I you know, I'm gonna go to the I'll run my bag to the car and then I'm gonna I'll run back and hopefully uh only one group behind me gets through. But uh I plan it because I want to time people. I want to, you know, if if you're not in the fairway as they're on the green putting, something's wrong. You know. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean we can just if you have like a little table or something, we could set it up there on the side of the cart path there.

Matt

Well, there's there's so much traffic. I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

I know, but if you're collecting the cards, are you and I'm gonna sit in the restaurant? Are you gonna be like walking them up there?

Matt

Yeah, sit up at the patio on the patio there, and I'll just I'll run them up to you as soon as I come because it's right there.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

Matt

You know, and I mean there's it's not like it's gonna take me 10 minutes to walk it up to you. I'm not gonna go around, I'm just gonna come right up the hill. There's that door there, and then I'll go back down.

Joe

On six at Mountain Falls on five, I was clinching a bit. I'm giving you a story. This is for the this is for the subscribers. I'm trying to think nine eight nine eight seven six five four. So like four, I was like, yeah, I was like trying to clinch, you know what I mean? Like bean and cheese burritos, you know, red salsa.

Matt

Oh, you're gonna go in the MDM.

Joe

Oh yeah, only the second, only the second time ever. Um shout out Mother Nature, you know, helping your boy not have to do that very often. But the last time was when we were in um not Sedona, but Payson, Payson, Arizona. Second time ever. Uh we played six, and I was like, yo, I got I gotta go back there because that's where it was after five. And then I did I just real quick out of there, you know, because there was the group already on the T-box, and then uh I hit my drive, like, hey, that's out of bounds, fuck it, let's go dropping, give me a triple, you know, keeping up pace. That's what that's the whole story. Is like, hey, I'm not holding everybody up, we're keeping pace. Give me a triple, who cares? Let's get out of here, even though I had to quick real quick, like pacing. So if I can do it, everybody can do it, is what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_05

There's only one time that I almost shit my pants on the golf course, and that was at old Mac. Yeah, that was close. That was a close call. That was like it was almost a medical version.

Joe

That's a tough place.

SPEAKER_05

That's and we were out, it was at the I forget what holds. It was the really uphill par four that goes east, and you kind of go up and diagonal to the green. Six seven six or seven. Yep, it was yes, and then you I remember I remember you hit that great shot. Yes, great approach shot. Oh, I I really thought I was gonna shit my pants. It was like I have already accepted it's going to happen, it's happening, yeah. What a beautiful place.

Dan

It's a good place to shit your pants, you're right.

Joe

Hey, if you're gonna shit somewhere, old man just dropping a bandit ball smoothie real quick.

SPEAKER_05

Bannon, it was it would be more like the meatloaf, but it was smoothie.

SPEAKER_00

That's priceless. Oh my god. That's funny.

Joe

I'm thankful it doesn't happen more often, honestly. That's why you never know when it's gonna hit you. You never know when it's gonna hit. I always have a fear if I don't shit before I leave the house. Yeah, well, that's I did, but you know, you never know. Never know. You never know.

SPEAKER_05

But usually, like when I leave town, my body shuts down, it already knows. Like, oh hey, we're just gonna take the time off. Uh, we're not gonna be shitting for a week. We're out of town, we're not home.

Matt

We go to New York, I'm the same way. I'm like, I haven't crapped in like three days. What the hell?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yes, that's exactly how my life is. My bundle took a vacation too.

Joe

Yeah, we're we're out.

Dan

Well, the one you're on vacation, I'm on vacation.

Joe

Is when I did that, I put it out real quick. I left those guys there, little eight-foot putts, and then I ran it back, and then I came back. They're still talking by the car, and I'm like, why didn't you hit? I know I have his driver, but you guys had a putt to hit, and then you could have hit your t-shot, and they were like waiting for me to come hit the t-shots.

Dan

Question for you you have to shit on a golf course, on a golf course, you have to okay.

SPEAKER_05

It's like on it, or it's no fucking choice.

Dan

Okay, you are would you rather shit in the cooler with hot water, or would you rather like shit on the ground and cover it with a sand and seed bottle?

Joe

Oh, it's ground, sand and seed all day. So I never pick up a towel in the trees. Yeah, in the cooler, what do you talk in the cooler in the park? Yeah, yeah, they're cooler. That'll ride with you the whole time. It rides.

Dan

No, I mean, you can get rid of it, you have to take it with you. Carry it with you. It's not a you can shit in it and I mean that's not a terrible idea.

Joe

I mean, you can sit that's you go on the ground, cover it with sand, it becomes a mud pie. Everybody's safe. You liquefy it in the cooler, I think I'm with you, Joe.

Dan

I think I'm gonna go like a cat and bury it, and then use and then use the water to clean yourself up.

Joe

You just hit a bunch of fucking nasty divots.

Dan

You just get a little bullying my ass in the middle of the ferry dog on the T-box. Just drag dragging my legs. Yeah, just feel all the way across.

Matt

You ever see Dan walking with the cooler and a towel off into the tree?

Dan

Yeah, mind your business. You ever see that shit? Mind your business. Hey, nobody uses cooler send us off for 10 things.

SPEAKER_05

If he brings it back, that's a problem.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Bring it back full, that's a problem. Hey, don't put any open food that you would eat in this cooler.

Dan

Yeah, no e Sandos in this thing.

unknown

Yeah.

Joe

Do you use your club towel if you need to?

Dan

Oh, absolutely.

Joe

Does it depend on the towel?

Dan

No.

Joe

If it's like if it's like the coolest towel you ever had to use, I'd rather use like somebody else's towel, though, whoever I'm riding with.

Dan

I'm gonna grab that first until you say something.

SPEAKER_01

Start bringing it extra. Yeah, I got that really nice landman towel. I don't know if it's shit all over it. So can I borrow your towel?

Dan

Does that towel say Janiking on it? Perfect.

SPEAKER_06

Janiking.

Dan

I need it, I need it to wet my ass. It's a steam towel, right? That's what it's for.

SPEAKER_05

My cousin would always, when we were younger, we'd go play at Hovel Creek all the time, and there were times where he would just disappear and then come back, and he'd have like one less sleeve on his shirt. That was kind of his signature move. Only one sock on. Yep, that happened.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, oh my gosh. Oh my goodness, that's hilarious.

Joe

Oh, I'm about to go buy that 24 pack of cost Costco Towels.

Dan

You just gotta get the trial travel size sweat wipes, throw them in your off bag. What is it? About 20 of them in there. Uh oh. The boss is here.

Joe

Say hi. Boss is checking in.

Dan

Hi, boss lady.

Joe

They said, hi, boss lady.

Dan

Hi, boss. She said, What is up, everybody?

SPEAKER_00

Oh man.

Joe

I might have to get grab a little pack of dude wipes and just throw them in the bag for emergencies now. Absolutely. There's only like you probably would have to do that and then hit it with the gold bond right after.

Dan

Yeah, so you don't get caddy butt.

Joe

Yeah, it's a good move. It's a good move.

Matt

Oh, I think this is what you're paying for, people. This is what you're paying for.

Trip Planning Travel And Final Wrap

Joe

I'm about to text Jordan and tell him he has to listen to this one.

SPEAKER_05

Speaking of like steamy, do you guys want would you guys play Dakota Dunes again if we can't find another place?

Joe

If you guys can take it out, I'd I'd yeah, I'd play, I'd play Dakota Dunes again. It was muggy as fuck, and it would be perfect weather.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. On the morning of 7th. If they would get us out that early.

Matt

Yeah, or there's I mean, there's other in the area that we could do too. I mean, we don't but absolutely, yeah, it doesn't matter to me. I I I had fun at that course. I liked it.

Joe

I thought it was cool. Yeah, I liked it a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was muggy and that was like our intro to the best. Yeah. Welcome to Bug City.

Joe

Yeah. Hopefully, I I've been meaning to look up like bug season out there. Hopefully it's a good one.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, it's bad. I was talking to Z's coach. He's from Nebraska. He says it's already bad.

Joe

Quinn, stop.

Dan

Joey, you're gonna get feasted on again. Fires killed them all.

Joe

No, Quinn. No.

Matt

I keep on seeing pictures of old Dane.

SPEAKER_05

It's really it's really grown in.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. She's a menace.

Matt

I love it. She's the mouse. Oh, so Brooklyn is at the uh uh like Decca finals in Atlanta, where like all the DECA participants go there for this uh final thing. Yeah, and so she was come her and her teammate were competing, and so they did that yesterday, and then today they were doing the awards and they live streamed it, and so we're watching, and it's just they have two giant tables and they're just stacked with medals, and they're calling up these kids' names, and they're like throwing these medals on them, like next, next, next, next, and they're just doing throwing medals, throwing medals, throwing medals, right? And it's all Asians and Indians, Asians and Indians, Asians and Indians, right? It's like I heard like 12 wings, you know, and so she didn't medal, and so I said, I'm sorry, kiddo. I said, but if it helps, we can drop the R Y C H T from your name. She's like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's get on that.

Joe

Yeah, wing right change it to Patel.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, she graduates next year, right? Yep, next year.

Dan

And then Matt's hitting the road. Uh, we'll see. We'll see. Well, I hope so. You got a fucking van out there. Oh, yeah. Oh, we're definitely doing van stuff.

Matt

We're definitely doing van stuff. He's not leaving. We're going to Spokane in July, I think. Go see my sister.

Joe

Gamble, gamble sands. Oh shit.

Dan

Yeah, so can't got some nice golf out there though.

Matt

Oh, yeah. I mean it's quarter lane is ten miles away.

Dan

Yeah, it's so close.

Matt

Yeah, if if an hour, yeah. Yeah, it's so close. Um yeah, so we'll see. We shall see. But hey, Dan, I didn't tell you. I'm going to a Red Sox Yankees game.

Dan

You did tell me actually.

Matt

Oh, did you? Yeah, okay. Yeah.

Dan

Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Matt

The ticket prices were insane. Oh, of course.

Dan

Yeah. At least the Yankees are playing good, playing well too.

Matt

So yeah, and they sweat Boston in in Boston, so that's always uh revenge games are always fun.

Dan

Always fun.

Matt

So when are you going to New York? When we get back from Landman. Okay. And we get back Saturday night and then we leave Monday. Something like that. Yeah, traveling, traveling, traveling.

Joe

Go brush your teeth.

SPEAKER_06

Now, Mister All right.

Matt

Well, uh, everybody that has tuned in for the after show, this is what you get. Thank you so much for that. Little insider stuff into our life. Never knew how important it was to know what you would do if you had to take a shit on a golf course.

SPEAKER_05

Now you have options.

Matt

Now you have options. It's not a one-way situation. Don't have to wait.

Dan

Don't have to panic. There's ways to do it comfortably and cleanly.

Matt

And make sure that there is sand in the the divot tool replacement and there's ice and water in your cooler. Yeah, you're good to go. You have a nice clean shit in the middle of nowhere.

Dan

It's refreshing when you when you dump in the wet wilderness. Something special about it.

Matt

Oh, let's see. So Oak Island tonight. Uh, anything, any good TV you guys have been watching lately that's new? There's a new Apple TV show that comes on tonight. That's supposed to be better than Plurbus and and uh Severance. So really, yeah. It's got better reviews and previewings than those shows, which is shocking because those two shows are fantastic.

Joe

I'll catch you later. She wildin'. All right, Joe.

Matt

Later.

Matt
