Welcome to the fifth episode of this season's podcast with your hosts first year Godolphin Flying Start trainees, Luke O'Neill and Tara Carroll. Join Luke and Tara as they speak to the previous manager of Spendthrift Farm and owner Ballindaggin Farm, John Williams to discuss his career in the industry, and his advice for young people looking to get into the industry.
They also spoke to first year trainees, Jamie O'Connor and Saad Saidi, to discuss how they had found the first few weeks of their time in Kentucky, their experience of the Keeneland January Sale, and what they are looking forward to most during their time here. Of the second year trainees, they caught up with Megan Bulbulia, who spoke about her experiences in Australia, which included an externship at Chris Waller Racing and participating in the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
